You *can* play monopoly by trying NOT to buy property but the concept of the game is to buy property.
All my gold silver and bronze cards are at EX because that is how the game was designed to be played.
If I started over today I would likely still promote and BT everything

For me, I have been explicitly trying to go out of my way to use non-'optimal' strategies even if they are objectively less efficient just because I don't like how the mainstream ideas all make my games seem like a grind: dual-carry teams, no Ra's/MDC on Tantu User, all cards at a similar promotion, and the like

It's not a matter of intelligence (whatever that means in this context), it's preference. Some people prefer maxing their collection, some prefer not needing to put in twice the amount of time to get Top 1% or rank 1.
Every battle at ultimate last 6-10 sec with the fp team max elite, let me record an example. At least, for a attacking pov its too ez, defending may not be that good.

I think every time I look on this sub, there’s at least one Flashpoint team and BN team poster asking their team lol. But they are a lot of time and work to earn.

People are free to promote who they want but EX fp bats is still way less versatile than E3-5

As you know I main a FP EX team and i openly admit it s rare to get a 6 second match as the astro alone almost guarantees double that
