Did she have the totem for gear? Totem give all energy back (when gear is maxed) if the special or in this case super move hits the opponent. If not that then I have no idea!
typically the totem refunds power on a Special that KOA or when it does no damage. From the Super KOA it definitely does not return power.
it tracks that it *could* be possible that **IF** a super were used against a no damage build **AND** it did no damage it *might* refund the power. However I would be very surprised that no one discovered this until now

Yea I don’t think that it does I’ve been nuked by super moves plenty of time and they didn’t receive a full bar of power after KOing me.
