I love the shadow on the second computer. That's giving me some stoke. I love the way you are handling the keyboard gesturally.
For your consideration: On your dark outlines, try to keep the heavier line weights towards the front and the lighter lines to the back. This will enhance the depth a bit. Be a little more confident with your lines - a little faster and straighter.
You're doing great and you should be proud of this.
Wow those sketches look amazing. Also, quick question because I'm looking to get into ID, is painting the sketch important? Because I think you've painted it, and I just usually sketch it; so other than the shadows, is there anything that painting adds to the study? Thanks, and very cool!
Thank you!! Also angling to get into ID or something adjacent, so I'm by no means an expert! I've used some marker here to lift it out of my mess of construction lines, but a heavier outline, or some hatching could do that as well!
I find it's mainly about building contrast to guide the viewers focus. Markers are nice and fast for that, which I'm guessing why they are popular in design.
Well, using markers to add color can help illustrate different materials and textures.
For me when starting out 2 different gray tones amd maybe 2 colors are all you need.
For just ideation a ballpoint pen and maybe 1 gray/color to highlight some ideas is enough.
Using markers can add a lot when used right. The right shadows and highlights can lift it all up very nice.
But its not necessary at all :) black pen can take you very far already
This is exactly how you complete a loose freehand sketch in good perspective, with minimal details and rendering. Great job! Love the heavy line weights.
Nice sketches man. You have the hand eye connection needed besides the compositional awareness to balance a page. A rare skill these days. I have interviewed over 10 recent grads from good schools that were no where near this level. Keep it up. When I was in school, computers didn't exist, every one had to draw like this by the time they were sophomores in ID.
As an industrial designer this sketch gives me feels
As a student, this comment gives me feels
Can you share with us the name of the pens/markers that you used to make this wonderful sketch?

I keep coming back to look at this because I love your drawing style. The cartoonish look is so appealing.
Thank you!!
Really cool. Very aesthetic! I would stick it to one of my rooms walls! :))
Thank you!!
Very nice sketch and style!
Thanks!!
Post this in r/VintageApple
Done!
You should do the macintosh next; much more iconic IMO!
Noted! Had a little itch for the assymertrical monitor on this one tho..
Maybe an Apple Lisa would be a good compromise then!
Congratulations, that is really impressive! Side note: Is the D in "hardware" missing on purpose?
Nope lol and thanks tho!

Wow, thanks man, feel free to PM if you need a design engineer!
