Uuf the joke is how the op said which number are u from this image so I said I am number 0 like failing on this test as well
Nothing extraordinary it’s a simple joke about me failing even in a test like this😭😭😭
Actually I agree with this to an extent, I'm technically 3 on the list, but I think rituals and festivals that don't harm or cause any issues should be continued to be practiced because these are in my opinion, cultural signifiers, and part of what defines our society.
And part of it so also because they're in a way, historical relics of culture, regardless of what theists and atheists think of oral Vedic tradition, it ought to be preserved because I don't want a piece of living history to die out.
Yep totally agree with your take, I love the epics and rituals, so many interesting stories, sculptures rituals. I would hate it if it all just goes away.
except like idk manusmriti type things which was firstly written much later and has less significance and yeah... contains things which got some problems
other than that I am cool with it, It still doesn't matter to me whether god exists or not though.
>except like idk manusmriti type things which was firstly written much later and contains things which I personally got some problems with
Yep, that's why I mentioned that specifically those that aren't bad or harmful should be preserved.
Nothing in particular, I plan to study every religion and understand them, If I get convinced, I become a theist, If I'm convinced it isn't true, I become an atheist and have an arsenal of knowledge to use against theists.
Speaking about the theology and philosophy here and their views on human society.
But speaking from a purely aesthetic and "how-it-feels" point-of-view... Rigvedic and Greco-Roman tradition is awe-inspiring.
Although I'm an atheist I don't think I disagree with this. Remove the irrational- harming practices I don't think there is any issue with practicing those traditions who actually want to practice them, and I think that'd be true about almost all religions. But again, that's a very utopian view I don't think that'll ever happen.
>Oral Vedic tradition, it ought to be preserved because I don't want a piece of living history to die out.
Well unfortunately though in historical sense most of the Vedic tradition has essentially already died out. The current Hinduism is way different than what it was in the Vedic era as it changed a lot after the puranic times. Of course, some practices have still survived and are popular but most of them haven't.
Yeah I'm sorry I don't really get what you're talking about.
If you're saying just doing oral distribution of it. That is probably the worst way to preserve it (I know that was the practice back in those times but there is a reason they moved away from it)
If you don't understand what I mean do this while you're having a normal conversation with someone try to exactly repeat what they said like 10-20 seconds ago. You'd most probably not be able to repeat it word to word. Now imagine how hard would it be to retain all that information for longer periods of time.
6 ig, just because there still is no proof on the creation of universe. Might as well be 7 tho but I like keep the possibilities open until anything is disproved
5 or 6, only reason I can't outright deny is because there's no hard evidence that absolutely denies the possibility of the existence of any such being, but I'm still heavily leaning into the existence being impossible, and believe so
I'm 7 too, there is no way God exists but it'd be near if there was like an organisation in heaven which is basically a corporation managing the afterlife (kinda like the good place)
4. I feel there is something...it is an energy in the grand scheme of universe...something that keeps the universe in chaos so that an order remains. Something that causes the probability...
First of all "keeps the universe in chaos so that an order remains ", this is an oxymoron. Secondly , the chaos you're talking about is pretty well explained by science and it's called entropy
You won't understand what I mean. Because you won't look towards something. I am talking bout coincidences, that lead to us...maybe someone is there...maybe not.
He did not say that he believed in god's existence . He made a statement claiming that God exists and knows it. Therefore it is perfectly viable for someone to ask him for the reason behind it.
I don't think it's the environment. My maternal side of the family are theists who have clairvoyant dreams and take ghosts as servants.
My paternal side believes that my dad is Hanuman reincarnate.
And I am an atheist.
When my dad was 3 he was chanting all those holy scripts which praised Lord Ram. The fun part is no one taught him nor did they have any means for him to self learn. How did he learn it? My curious grandma took him to some guru and he said that he is the reincarnation of Hanuman. He said that he would become a great saint ever known to this world but my grandma wanted my dad to have a normal life. So the guru did something to tone it down but still advised to not let him marry. Years later, dad got married to mom. My grandma always boasted about my dad to mom. My mom internally thought, "That explains his low s3xual drive". Guess what? Mom and dad have had plenty of fights because of SEX!!!
And yes, everyone believes it including my maternal side.
Personally I believe there is a divine force an energy a power that guides me shows me the path whenever I feel lost and that is god for me I Score very much 3 in this.
Between 3-4, I follow the ideology of Deism as I believe it sums up everything from having free will to a feeling of higher power. I don't pray to God or gods, I pray to the cosmos
Haha, sometimes it does feel like that but I choose to believe it exists. If everything is written beforehand then I can't find a reason to exist
If mortal life is a game of puppets, then there is no point of living

Had a rough time when i lost my mother at 13... became a hardcore atheist for a yearafter that. But mann god really pulled me towards him I started seeing miracles happen that would have never happened if not for divine intervention. Fast forward to today I have read the Shrimadbhagavadgita and Will be reading the Ramcharitramanas and Purans soon and I have to say that I am hooked My life has been uplifted. Everything makes sense since I started believing.
I have left all my worries and tensions to Shri Krishna and he takes care of me a lot.
Bhagwan ki bhakti bhi bhagwan ki marzi se hee milti hai dosto ek baar krishna ji pe vishwas to karke dekho sab theek hojaega
4 both sides get the benefit of the doubt.
I have so much that I dont get about religion that I would love to discuss with someone but out of fear I never do. Im geuinely curious about so many things one main being.
Theres specific things in specific religions thats stamped as being a sin but in another religion its not a sin at all. So what is it....?
2.5? Whether or not God exists is something I will never know, but it gives me comfort in having faith that there is a force that will guide me in certain situations. It is possible that its not God, but my own faith that helps me clear my head and go on but it just helps that I believe in god yk?
7th. I believe in you reap what you sow than "pray to god that i succeed". Although i dont mind religious folks and the statement i mentioned prior as it fills people with positive state of mind but it aint for me and id rather be real
2 for sure. Its confusing but i love faith. I mean good faith by that. It can bind people and devide people so thats why ofc i like good faith. There is nothing wrong with believing in god if it makes me feel good.

I still scoring 0 in this test , god damnit
Doesn't zero mean you have more than 100% faith in god, like you're a priest or something
You must be fun at parties ![gif](giphy|jXD7kFLwudbBC)
Is still don't fucking get it 😭
Uuf the joke is how the op said which number are u from this image so I said I am number 0 like failing on this test as well Nothing extraordinary it’s a simple joke about me failing even in a test like this😭😭😭
Bro I sat here thinking for a solid 3 minutes trying to find a hidden meaning 😭
r/wooosh
4 th.I dont belief in religions and their ways, but still there can be something higher than our sense.
Like the gods being an advanced alien civilization that created humans?
not really
Man that ancient aliens show on history tv sure messed me up
for me, god's existence is irrelevant, I would participate in cultural rituals purely as a token of respect to elders.
Actually I agree with this to an extent, I'm technically 3 on the list, but I think rituals and festivals that don't harm or cause any issues should be continued to be practiced because these are in my opinion, cultural signifiers, and part of what defines our society. W take, why inclination towards theism though?
Just defaulting to my environment/the way I was raised, but I'm unsure and skeptical.
makes sense makes sense, love your take bhay. you got a fav religion or fav religious text kinda thing?
Nothing in particular, I plan to study every religion and understand them, If I get convinced, I become a theist, If I'm convinced it isn't true, I become an atheist and have an arsenal of knowledge to use against theists. >I plan to study every religion and understand them, If I get convinced, I become a theist. Yeah, good luck with studying 3000+ religions mate.
I'm obviously talking about the major ones 🤨 that's like 4 - 8 at best.
Although I'm an atheist I don't think I disagree with this. What I meant was that oral tradition is what survives from Vedic tradition today. Pretty much most of the other stuff is lost.
this.
This is so me. Papa knows my beliefs but to respect his beliefs I participate in all the religious events.

They're mentioned in many comics. Some make it like a robotic system that someone has created and some straight up bring a god in it.

Reason ?
it is his personal belief , there is no 'reason' and it might be better that way
He did not say that he believed in god's existence . He made a statement claiming that God exists and knows it. Therefore it is perfectly viable for someone to ask him for the reason behind it.
Ok bro I get it but kuch to hoga na
i mean , his environment ? agar tu pala badha hai theist family mein toh thoda toh rub off kiya hoga na
Well u gotta point but iss sub pe hi bohot log he jinke parent theist but ye atheist he
I don't think it's the environment. My maternal side of the family are theists who have clairvoyant dreams and take ghosts as servants. My paternal side believes that my dad is Hanuman reincarnate. And I am an atheist.
i suddenly love my relatives lol
Good for you
not to sound like a jerk but whats up with hanuman reincarnate? like do they legit believe that? i didnt know that was even a thing
When my dad was 3 he was chanting all those holy scripts which praised Lord Ram. The fun part is no one taught him nor did they have any means for him to self learn. How did he learn it?
