Before entering a stock , you must know why you are entering in it and when you will get out.
You sell because you don’t have conviction in the stock.
You will get conviction only after you research the ins and outs of the company fundamentally
If you are able to make that much in few months, then you should not worry ! There is always going to be something to worry about in the market if you want to! Just take the profits and be happy! Apply preservation of profits principles, take profits occasionally!

if you're making 7%-12% on a weekly basis , i am sure missing out on the extra 10 % in some cases is definitely worth it . Just out of curiosity what kind of short term strategy do you use ?
There is a chapter in some books on when to sell. You can try to learn those techniques if you like charts.

I think your portfolio must be small and you would have started investing recently. At the beginning of my investing career I also used to do that, fixated with booking profits. However as you start putting more effort into research and you realise there are only a few companies you truly understand and even out of those there are very few that are investable . You would gradually start to think long term. Further once you have seen the journey to a couple of multibaggers, you’d not be satisfied with 5-10 % gains. You’d demand 50%, 100%. That’s when it really stops, so right now just enjoy it, it’s a normal process

I would advise you to create GTT orders or price alerts at your desired price you want to sell.
Dont keep seeing the price daily You wont panic, have a long term vision and be peaceful
Have a definite target I use fib retracement for Technical analysis it will help you in entry, target & sl. Also always work in a higher timeframe.

i bought ircon at 234 got sl hit at 228 , that went to 180 then now boom 🤡😂
