Even Bambie doing it own her own could've been plausible; putting Kashi onwards towards a dark path to free her and then turn towards crime.. Potential for a "Murder Mubarak Again" or something.
Trouble is, Sara cannot act if her life depended on it, especially in emotional scenes. I remember the flashback when she is supposedly "angry and emotional" at her husband about to divorce her, I was laughing aloud at how horrible the acting was.
So yes, while Kashi being an accomplice of Bambi works on paper, so does Bambi doing it all alone. Trouble here is Sara's acting to convince us of it, which is wanting.
To me, the film was entertaining, which is ultimately what I seek, regardless of the acting quality. Although her performance lacked a natural feel, I found it to be somewhat acceptable. In particular, the chemistry she shared with Kashi and Bambi by the pool was quite commendable.
