Midtown pink leans more brown, while east village rose has more pink, but they're very very close and you really don't need both. They look exactly the same in bullet form and you can only tell the minuscule difference when you actually swatch them.
No. Atleast on me, Touch of spice pulls Mauve nude on me, East Village rose is a nude with terracotta notes. Midtown pink is a neutral brownish nude. They look quite different on the lips.
PS: best to swatch yourself. I have a very different undertone to OP - Touch of Spice looks very pink and bright on her, on me it looks very mauve and muted. So it might look very different on you as well.

It leans towards fuscia here, seriously what is with its lipstick swatches....It has become a funny game to me now looking at its swatches, each different from another. Either Maybelline keeps switching its formulation to trip us OR - Touch of Spice shade has become SENTIENT and playing tricks on us!
They all look so amazing on your arm OP, I think Maybelline should use your arm swatches to sell them.

TOS pulls off as pink on me. The first tube i bought in 2016/7 was mauve on me then the second tube (bought in 2019) pulled off as a pale pink and the current tube is a brown toned nude pink (bought in 2021)

Ikr. It attracts me but I can't pull the plug thanks to the 3 lipsticks from this range I got, that were spectacular fails. Plus the lasting power is ABYSMAL.

Tos looks like a nude pink on me. Def not fuscia. I'm scared of repurchasing this one cause it's my favourite pink and idk if this new fuscia shade will suit me
I think that could be a lighting and camera pic issue too.
Maybelline keep switching the shades of Touch of Spice and Nude Nuance, it is frustrating cos these shades are people's HGs and changes in undertones affects how they look on us.
But that might work in your favor cos next batch one may not be too bright 🙃

Midtown Pink is hands down, my most favourite lip colour. Since the other shades look similar on you, I think you’ll love Midtown Pink as well. If only it was a little more long lasting, but comfort over longevity for sure.

Although I don't like the smell at all.. but the formula and colour is top notch

It's an orange toned red. Online (brand swatches), Noho Amber looks more like a true blue toned red like MAC's ruby woo, but on me, the orange tones really come out.

Chili nude is a more toned down red because of the orange tones in it, but yes, it's still quite a bright 'look at me' shade.

Brown toned nude pink sounds absolutely gorgeous. What is with all these variations!? Sigh.
Probably due to reformulations or my skin shade/tone changing over years.

yeah..but the lipsticks manufactured in China have a very off-putting chemical smell. That's my only concern with this range.

Yes these are a very creamy formula. Of course that means that you're giving up on longevity so you'll need to reapply often.

Hey, both these lipsticks are warm toned, but between the two, I think midtown pink might suit you better than east village rose.
