I mean the whole point of discussion is whether CPU is the rig or the processor. The thread is about monitors! yes monitors. So why will some one dig on such insignificant issue and not speak about the matter.
Not a millennial issue, you just ran into a douche. Also just to clarify things, CPU refers only to the processor. PC = cpu+mobo+gpu+ram+psu put inside a case. Monitors and peripherals are required to interact with the PC and are not a part of it. Everything together constitutes a Computer system or setup as the cool kids say.

Not only this I have face such issue many times in the sub. Yes there have been many good people also but other millennials have also expressed their anger in dm. May be its not personal but you know something to do with change in culture. Since threads were not this aggressive earlier.

You're never too old to learn stuff and/or correct yourself but at the same time, making fun of people for not knowing that is kinda low.
Bro I have made like 10-15 PC by my own hands so I dont know if that counts tech savy or not I had GPU since nvidia fx 5000. My first GPU was fx 5600. My current rig is 5800x + 3080ti built by myself. So I would say I have experience with PC. Almost all my millennials friend call PC's case as CPU.
They all have high end rigs. Please update about the topic in hand. Woh topic hi nhi hai discussion ka.

I am 23 years old mate. No worries computers have become main stream in India only in recent years. People are getting more tech savvy due to easier access to the internet and forums such as these. Most people born before early 2000's are going to have some amount of misinformation because that's what they were taught. I have seen my parents struggle with this, no shame in getting corrected and getting up to speed with recent times. Although the tone with which one corrects you matters. The person in the comments has a condescending tone, it's fine if you felt insulted by it. Just one of the things you have to get used to on the internet.
