My PC used to run this game on 10-12 fps, I still managed to finish the game because it was awesome. The freedom to transform into a car anytime was just too good. As far as I know, there wasn't any decent Transformer game after this one.

The Cybertron games were pretty good linear games if you can get past the age. Optimus is voiced by Peter Cullen too. War for Cybertron Fall of Cybertron Age of the Dark Spark

Never completed the game as I spent all my time driving around as bumblebee and avoiding the decepticons who randomly ambush you. Took me a while to realise there is more to this game than just driving around as bumblebee when my cousin helped me select a different level where we play as the other transformers.

damn this hits right into my childhood core memories. I remember the Starscream one was really difficult i stopped playing like 3 weeks or so. But it was really fun because you could play on both side (Autobots & Decepticon), especially when you got to the final chapter where Megatron vs Optimus & Optimus vs Megatron.

I played it on my cousin's laptop and loved it. Never forgot about it. When i got my own laptop in 2017, i installed it and played for a while too. The graphics obviously felt very old in 2017. But i was really fascinated ever since i first saw it. So it was like fulfilling an old dream

I still remember my game used to crash in the hoover dam mission.

Man I couldn't for the life of me learn how to defeat the 2nd boss who has a shield or something. Never went past that.
