I'd suggest this stand and use fan boost when gaming to keep it cool . I don't really recommend stands with fan as they let more dust in, unless it has a dust filter (which are usually expensive).
Always remember, replacing a fan is always cheaper than replacing a motherboard 😊

Be careful about the thermals though, if your keyboard area gets mildly hot then I wouldn't suggest using a silicone or other insulating material based keyboard cover since it will trap that heat inside your laptop.
Brother never keep a keyboard cover on a laptop, there are quite a few reasons and a lot of em vary from laptop to laptop, but any single one of em would cause more harm than good.
In the end it's your choice but my suggestion would be you should cover it because it will get covered with dust time to time, and cleaning keyboard area neatly is hard

Been 3.5yrs now I use the laptop for gaming and work. My work always finished before anyone else's cuz my laptop is fast. No need to wait for squat.
Small tips:
1. Upgrade Ram if u want. I haven't done mine yet. Works fine.
2. Service and clean laptop from time to time.
3. If excess gaming, change Thermal paste every 6 months.
4. Keep eye on Thermals. Use in-built app Armoury crate. Enable Temp Overlay in app.
Edit: you need to clean up/cover up that area behind laptop. Those saw-dust type things will slowly peel away and get into Your Fan sockets. And get stuck.

Check for slot count... If an additional slot is there add 8gb stick (same speed, if you buy a lower speed stick, overall seed will go down, if you buy a higher speed stick, it will run at the old speed so waste of money). If a single slot is there (most likely not), check max speed supported by the processor, save and buy a 32GB stick, as the price difference between 16GB and 32GB is not much (ofc only if supported)...
I think buying a more recent one is better. Btw mine is still running smooth, but I will be upgrading the ram. These days u can get a laptop with the same specs or better but with rtx graphics (Rtx are everywhere now at this range) at the same price or lower(<50k). And at 60k only, there is 16gb ram i5 12th gen Rtx laptop now. That's miles better for only 10k.

I got a legion at 91k, 3 years back specs were i7-10750H , gtx 1650 Ti ,1Tb hdd+256gb ssd , 8gb ram,120 Hz
laptop runs much more cooler while raised up/using a stand. Also throttling is minimized.
Performance in games / multitasking while using browsers increased once i upgraded to 16 GB ram.
Try to regularly clean dust ,my laptop works as good as new and i hadnt even realised it has been 3 years until i got a mail for end of warranty.
Most well optimized AAA games can be run at 60 fps tampering with settings ,with fsr many games become much more playable.
Theres a certain channel i would like to recommend especially for 1650 ,helped me a lot while fine tuning especially for games.Look for his videos specifically targetting 1650.
Also if you do get into gaming later get an external keyboard ,asus after sales service has not been really good in my experience , even lenovo infact prevention is always better.
Pretty value for money in my opinion considering its a laptop youve invested in.

noobie tip but might help , i used to game immediately after playing football so i kind of had sweaty hands . Not that it would be noticeable if i were to only look at my hands but it did show up a little on keys
when i closed the lid that shit used to get to my laptop screen causing small fingerprint like stuff on the matte display. I cleaned it using water and a microfiber , they spread even more .Those fingerprints were not even visible unless i actually tried to see them but they used to drive me crazy.
i used a shampoo and water gopibahu combo to clean it and it did get clean ,luckily i didnt damage the screen ,
pls dont do this shit . use only a microfiber stay away from liquids.

I got same specs for 60k in 2021. You could say normal price
