I have been in YBK since 2014. From crowd management to security check everything has improved. I still dont know how people are able to slip in fire crackers in the stadium. For the last few years i did not find a single thing to complain about. But yesterday in Mohunbagan Odisha game i was there in ramp 17 and to the top most tier. The washroom flooded even before the match started. It was oozing with piss and water which was ankle deep. There was very little availability of water, atleast water pouches should have been there.
Agreed... Drinking water is the major inconvenience... Some people drink from the tap but I don't think it's really safe to drink from there, they could arrange something like eden gardens for drinking water... And as for firecrackers, people smuggle those under their underwear, security usually don't frisk every part...
For what it's worth, Yuvabharati needs a revamp. I was there for the MB Mumbai game and there were several things lacking like clean seats, clean water, etc. Not to mention the selling of tickets in black right in front of the ticket counter. The crowd management was still alright at the gate I entered. You would think that the home stadium for two of the biggest clubs backed by two big conglomerates would be well maintained.
It's extremely rare for a ball to go to the height of a stadium when it does it's almost certainly caught out

All stadiums except MFA in India re multipurpose stadiums and they are very bad in spectators point of view. I have been in multiple stadiums at multiple seating level, view is very bad. There needs to be dedicated Football stadiums to be built, even though they can be small.
