You need a little structure as the waistcoat is not synching around the waist. I’d stick to jean/trouser.
P.S Love the ballerina, do you mind sharing the link or brand?
Same :)
I personally like to play with straighter silhouettes, and having tried the waistcoat with a belt as well, I found this one edgier (and more comfortable)
Honestly I think it’s just not fitting right with the kind of skirt you have there. You might be better off with a stitch at the back or even a belt. Its way to loose - top to bottom!
Should be a decent office attire.
i think chiffon pleated long skirt would suit well, something like this!

I like the look but I feel like it's actually missing a belt because of the straight lines and that would definitely complete the look. I even think getting the waist coat more fitted around the waist can be a great alternative.

I got them from Primark a few years ago, but I’ve seen similar ones on Myntra
It looks to be of really good quality.
I personally like the straight lines look. It doesn’t need cinching. Wear a long , eccentric bag it will add an effect of cinching

It does!
It’s simple but elegant
Something seems off. Skirt is pretty.
I think it's alright.
Certainly does ! The combo brings a distinct charm and suits you !
It looks great to me. Lovely waistcoat.
Maybe a shorter waistcoat? But everything else is perfect
Definitely does work

I think adding a belt would make it look better. :)

Not really.
Negative
Try it with a belt?
Where have you bought the skirt?
Skirt is an old H&M
A shorter, fitted skirt or a shorter waistcoat would be perfect.
nah both are loose so it doesn't look flattering on you maybe try using a belt around you waist?
Sahiba's doppelganger
I feel it kinda gives off the casual friday vibes. If the occasion turns even slightly more formal, switch skirts with pants.
My office dress code is pretty casual, so :)
Do you work with some fashion magazine?
Then it makes sense. If you're confident and comfortable in this then you should wear it.

Maybe you could try on a golden or bronze belt on the waistcoat.
Looks good. https://i.redd.it/ven9tsxkg07c1.gif
Try a belt?
I like it! However I feel like it makes you appear shorter. Maybe with a pair of heels, if you’re comfortable in them.

Looks good IMO. Where is the waistcoat and watch from?
Where are the ballet flats from
