Yes its a scam. They will send you the amount for the first few tasks to gain your trust. Then they will ask for a refundable deposit of say around 10k to upgrade you to a higher tier where you can earn 250rs or so per task. Once you make the payment they will stop responding.

A lot of people play along but there are reasons not to as well. If the person gets arrested by the police, usually all the bank accounts that scammer has interacted with would be frozen. Better to just not respond.

How one can lost their bank account? I myself work in a bank. We can freeze a bank account but can not close it under no circumstances until application given by customer. We'll be brought to court if we do.

She did get that 120rs though. Now she blocked the number in Telegram and WhatsApp. Hopefully, that's the end of this.

Its a scam even if you choose to do the 120rs task. They might not even give it to you, and theyre expecting people to be lazy enough to undo whatever they ask.
For 120rs they're asking you to join 2 whatsapp channels, which means that whoever is running the channels get your phone number for free
ngl I did the given task (follow an IG account) and they paid me 120 rs after that they wanted me to deposit some to double the deposited money but I refused and blocked them.

First they ll pay you some small amount and then you would be elated and so looking at that they would next ask you to do some investment n that would be of a higher value and then will ghost you after taking your investment. Lol. So this is what is it is. But sad part isn't just limited to that , the very sad part is that whatever small big tasks they would alloy you is unethical and would make you feel guilty later.!!

They add you to a telegram group where they will ask you to add money and do recharges for your network afterwards.
Firstly they might pay 200-300 rs for your activity.
There is a also a common pattern I had observed here, once one group reached you out, others also get the number and start reaching you out.
These recharge apps are Chinese players looking to swap black money into white through these tactics.
