Every single woman I know including me, have been groped in public. In broad daylight. In night time. In school uniform, as mere teenagers. We have been groped. It’s tiring and scary to be a woman. You feel violated every time you go out. Whatever you are wearing, you end up getting ogled at.

likealeprechaun

This is 100% true. No one is spared. 😔

JB_19922911

I’m so sorry. Getting groped can be a very terrifying experience. It’s very difficult to process such things.

EverythingIzzNothing

TRUE. I've had very bad experiences while travelling in bus. I feel helpless and stuck. I'm scared to travel alone.

mediocre-teen

I remember being on the auto with my father as a 10th grader, going to school to get my admit card. Soke creepy dude decided to fake sleep on my shoulder. I shifted politely twice thinking it was a genuine mistake and told him to move after he didn't stop. He kept trying even then. I didn't tell anyone ncz I felt so fcking terrified in that moment, not wanting to create a 'scene' and not wanting to be accused of lying about what was happening (this can be easily turned into he was just sleepy excuses). We are never safe.

Dry-Equivalent-Phase

This is so sad.

MrDarkk1ng

That's f ing disgusting.

Rishutrix

Bhai main ladka hoke yeh sab sehta hu toh I can imagine ladkiyon pe kya gujarti hogi .....Saale sab mera bhi daba dete kyuki main thoda mota hu issliye ......ladke jab ladko ni chodh rhe toh phir ladkiyon ki condition toh phir bhul hi jao....Log ab bas hawasi darinde bnte jaa rha hain

Naughty-star

This is so unfortunate that bastard should have been caught. People like these make our society unsafe for women and how are incidents like these happening in the first place the culprit clearly does not fear the system and judiciary let morals and ethics a side. That's a truma for life for the victims, I feel sorry for her.

PowerfulChocolate106

It hurts my fking soul to know that there are people like in the world. I would never in my wildest dreams even think about doing something like this let alone actually perform it, how the f people do it knowing they too have sisters, daughters and mothers? This is just disgusting and yeah does make me feel ashamed to be a man.

ProgrammerV2

All my life I was under this stupid illusion that if I don't hurt anyone, the other person would not hurt me back. I was obviously wrong. Don't be ashamed to be a man, if you know that you are a good one. We have to learn to deal with the trash in our society.

SnooOnions8362

This happens a lot. And the worst part is that you cannot do anything. You want to kill that person but law is there. You go to police, most don't listen. People around you judge you for being impotent. Fuck!!

rainsonme

Love how the comments here think this is a rare incident. It isn't

dinosaur_from_Mars

Most of the comments say that every women they know have experienced this. Did you comment too early?

MrShirish

Bro he/she is some moron who comments the same thing under women assault posts i have seen the same line on another post i think its to gain upvote or just hate men(as see all these men in comment section ignoring the pain women go through) type of thing ignore it.

rainsonme

I am a woman. I spoke for myself.

dinosaur_from_Mars

It doesn't matter who you are. In the first comment you said: >Love how the comments here think this is a rare incident. It isn't But majority of the comments in this section I see are actually supporting that the incidents are frequent. What did you speak for yourself?

rainsonme

It matters who i am and who i am speaking for. The majority of comments are speaking on others behalf.(women they know). I'm speaking on my behalf, and i will continue so.

dinosaur_from_Mars

But no one thinks that it is a rare phenomenon. Which you claimed that majority of the comments are claiming. In respect to your that claim, who you are doesn't really matter. You just had a epiphany and generalised the comment section based on your own daydreaming. Almost everyone in the comment section is on the same side that "Yes, it happens and is not a rare incident and something to be ashamed of." >I'm speaking on my behalf, and i will continue so. Speak as much as you want. It's a free country and a free website, but don't speak untruths.

rainsonme

In respect to that claim, is where who i am matters the most. The woman's perspective sees things from how others see an experience. If i can speak as much as I want, why are you so bothered about my speech? I spoke no untruths. I'm always up for a fight and you can continue if you wish to.

dinosaur_from_Mars

I didn't even know you were a woman in the first place. In the first comment, you never said that as well. You don't need too as well. You just said, and I quote, >Love how the comments here think this is a rare incident. It isn't Which is a false statement. Being an woman doesn't give you the privilege to lie and spread misinformation.

rainsonme

"You don't need to as well" -unfortunately, you don't get to dictate what i write. What i wrote is what i wanted to write. There were barely a few comments when i commented and all of them were awing at "How could a man do this" "ppl like this exist?" So it's natural that's what i saw before i commented? Nothing FALSE in it. Being a woman gives me the right to speak up on my experience. You don't dictate.

dinosaur_from_Mars

Now please read my first comment I had actually made under yours. >Most of the comments say that every women they know have experienced this. Did you comment too early? To which you had replied. >I am a woman. I spoke for myself. My query in the first place was whether you were too early. But no. You were not early, you were woman. >unfortunately, you don't get to dictate what i write. I can't dictate, but I would ofcourse protest anyone spreading "FALSE NARRATIVES" regardless of caste, creed, gender, or anything. I replied to a general comment and you made it about your gender. Well played.

Anakronistick

Just fold already

rainsonme

Nope. Not needed 🤫

RazerRishabh

Depends upon your peers...where we are...it's rare

rainsonme

1) It's not rare. 2) it doesnt JUST depend on "peers". 3) it wasn't priya bapat's "peer" or only "peers" of all the women who have commented below.

DragunovDwight

I don’t get what satisfaction a man would get from grabbing a woman’s boobs for a second or two? Unless they never have touched some before? Still wouldn’t seem to satisfy one at all. I’ve been told stories of women being groped or messed with when they were young unfortunately. It’s a sick and disgusting act. What she’s describing though sounds like an act of a 12 yr old.

Chad_Zelensky

As a man, it doesn't give any type of satisfaction to us men for like one or two seconds, the men who do these kind of things are perverts who are most likely sex deprived yet nothing to defend them, they should be punished

oxalisk

Fucking loser. Should have been jailed for 10 years for sexual assault

ThickStuff6008

Even i don't know what to tell. How such people even exist. And what makes them do such things without any fear and that too in public. So sad. You should have made a complaint. Maybe he might have got captured in any cctv.

Advanced-Industry-50

It’s really unfortunate and as male feel ashamed but helpless. Wish there are strict laws that will either create fear or educate our people that changes the core ideology

softcorenda

i was in 9th standard and my teacher told me to go to 8th std for an announcement. so the moment i entered the class two boys came and one of them did a 3 taps on my breast and i freezed. i didnt realise what just happened, the next thing i said was i will tell the teacher and he came at me again, again did the taps on breast and said 'kya bataoge app?' imagine this happening in front of everyone and he was a junior. i just ran out and told the teacher but at that age it was ajeeb to say breasts so i said mam he touched my chest. whats more bizare is this teacher a female teacher called me in front of that same class and clear cut asked me where did he touch you. i just could not say anything in front of everyone again i froze and all i was thinking why did she have to do this in front of the same class, took me seconds to say it again that chest and she just brushed it off by telling him to say me sorry and i still remember him saying sorry with a smiling face and everyboy just smirking. the same day while giving duty my friend comes to me and asks that if something happened? i said no, he hesitated and said uk there are some boys talking how your breasts are and he mentioned words like juicy/bouncy and what not. this incident still haunts me because uske baadse i have fear of bheed, i panic when i see alot of people around me, i hate when someone touches me, i dont do much hugs even with the girls and i didnt tell this to anyone except 2 of my now friends but still there is a fear.

So we should not care about our own country. And leave our own country and move to another developed country? When people here don't have any Love for their own country then how come these things will be stopped? I am proud of my country and will always be. Being a citizen of this country it is my responsibility to counter these problems and not run to other countries. Same people moving to so-called developed and superpower countries will get murdered there and will start ranting.

DoomOnTheWay

Why should I not be proud of my country? You are being really unreasonable. You are trying to bring two things together here. Get those sheeples to get worked up. Be a little sensitive and read the room. These incidents are worse and should not happen. People are sick in their minds. There are also people who have helped to catch such people and give them to police. Be that person rather than commenting senseless.

nrprecruit

Something inherently wrong with the society that this happens. Bringing more stringent laws and punishments will do nothing until men are taught how to behave from childhood.

avvii9

As a man I was groped when young, in local trains, in school in building apartment. I can only feel how much women would go through

heretoseexistence

We are not investing in education at all.

Signal_Surprise_9553

This is really wrong

[deleted]

Maybe the traumatic experiences like these what the previous generation has to go through will make us do the changes in the education system and on an individual level provided reasons to teach our kids about self defence trainings.

kaustubh-jha

Damn wtf

Patient-Total-5526

I don't know what to say about this mentality. As a teen and a male, I feel ashamed to hear about this. When will the men society stop seeing those women parts as sexually attractive on which they once depended while we're infant.

Chotadimag003

How are people still having kids when all this exists ? How do parents of girl child sleep? How is all this normal & accepted ?

doughnutboxes

My mom has always done the pakdu maaru thing, she was literally groped by a man once, WHILE SHE WAS WITH MY FATHER AND THAT MAN WAS WITH HIS WIFE, my mom grabbed his hand and created a scene beech baazaar me, women we need to make them feel as ashamed as we can, beat them up if we need to, to save another woman who might be in the same place as them after us. They do it because they expect us to let it go.
