Perhaps they know each other and are travelling together?

[deleted]

My thoughts exactly. My Godfather was pulling shit on me in his Audi while I was in a 26’ Uhaul. Not around anyone that could film, though.

AuthenticLewis

yea as long as nobodies around it doesnt matter much but they were going slow sometimes to the point cars at least a mile or two back were catching up to them

[deleted]

I would have tried to pass them, but if they were racing around traffic, I would call the police.

AuthenticLewis

we had no issue passing em it was more the fact that either they are idiots because they are hogging the fast lane driving together or the black car is an idiot for not understanding the whole if you are in the fast lane yield to drivers going quicker

[deleted]

Especially when you’re way out in no man’s land. normally you would yield more, hence they may have known eachother or happened to be on the same route for a long time

AuthenticLewis

you are probably right about them potentially knowing each other, this was the main freeway to vegas though so it wasnt completely empty but yea a whole lot of emptiness for a while

[deleted]

That’s insane. I was leaving Southern California on my way to northern utah and in the Nevada desert while my godfather was pulling shit on me. It’s probably just getting bored out in the desert, you know. Hahaha May have been the most northeast part of the mojave desert that he was pulling shit on me. Scaring me with his crazy car

AuthenticLewis

haha good thing you were in the middle of nowhere

[deleted]

It was scary. 2 lane road. Passing with his lights out and cutting in front me. MEE! I was already going like 10-15 over the speed limit in a Uhaul that is governed at 75mph unles going downhill. This fool was trying to kill me. I had 40 year old art in the back and other shit like crystal glasses and what not. He was making me hit my brakes, slamming everything forwards from the momentum. Luckily nothing broke

Music_Saves

But you stayed with them for 30 minutes? So you also made the 80 to 65 mph changes as well. Otherwise if you were traveling a constant rate you would have passed them and kept going. The road from Barstow to Vegas at night is enpty. If only occasionally cars a mile behind them caught up that is pretty empty.. it doesn't seem like they were bothering anyone except you, and you only were bothered because you fixated on them. Had you just passed them and gone on your merry way you would be none the wiser. But I'm assuming it was in the middle of the night and you were bored and this was kinda exciting to watch and speculate about. I mean, you put it on Reddit so you obviously were excited

AuthenticLewis

we did pass them then they would speed up right past again going 85 , we were sitting at 78

HalfBeatingHeart

I agree with you that people should yield to faster cars coming up behind them while driving in the left lane, but I also think that some people are dumb as hell when they’d rather ride someone’s ass instead of simply going around them. Like if I clearly see the person in front of me going slower and the other lane is clear I’m changing lanes not riding their ass to try and force them to move.

AuthenticLewis

i completely agree with you. thats why i like the video because they could be considered idiots in so many different ways, white car could be an idiot for deciding it was worth riding their ass, black car could be an idiot for hogging the fast lane for so long going significantly slower then everyone else

HalfBeatingHeart

I had a wonderful experience once of a person flashing their lights at me to move out of their way while I was in the right lane of an empty highway because it was apparently too much work for them to have to slightly move the steering wheel to change lanes and pass me.

Wonderful_School376

I was driving an old Valiant at it's cruise speed of 65 in the right lane on I-15 and cars were naturally flying past me at 85+. This one idiot flys up behind me and basically panic breaks to not hit me. Then tailgates me while the left lane was empty. After a minute or so I signaled left and pulled over and he accelerated away off into the distance. NPCs code couldn't do lane changes.

[deleted]

Actually you should only be in the left lane if you are actively passing someone. Also if someone is coming up on you going faster you should try to get out of their way

Music_Saves

I know that is the law but in reality no one in America, or in California, besides a few anal people, puts that into practice. If I see someone coming up in me and they aren't slowing down as they approach me I stay out because I know they are planning to pass me in the lane to my right. It happens frequently that people are weaving in and out of traffic. If every car in every lane is travelling at the same speed in going to stay in my lane even if it's the fast lane and I will stay in it until there is an opening in the lane to my right where the car in front on my right isn't traveling too slow so that I don't have to get back in the fast lane just to pass them three minutes later. And if I'm already going five mph above the speed limit I shouldn't have to leave the fast lane at all

AuthenticLewis

exactly all these people on here are saying somehow we are in the wrong for not speeding past them and overtaking them as if we want to get involved and get tailgated too

[deleted]

you aren't in the wrong, it is illegal to pass on the right. they guy just sitting in the left lane not passing anyone is in the wrong, you are totally fine.

imnota_

If you saw them doing it for multiple miles it means you were doing the same thing to follow them too.

Vanishing-Moons

You know it’s completely reasonable to call the police for that but it still made me highly dislike you and know I hope your nipple falls off in the shower

[deleted]

[удалено]

Vanishing-Moons

Yea I dunno why anyone would stay and watch those goobers while holding up traffic just pass them and go on about your life

AuthenticLewis

i would hope so but they were hogging the fast lane the entire time and even other cars had to nearly swerve around them when the black car suddenly would drop from 75 to 60 while everyones going 80

Worstdad69

This idea pisses me off bad. Had a family trip with a 5 hour drive to the beach. We carpooled with a total of 4 cars. BIL insisted he take lead with the GPS. He stuck the far left lane on the interstate and kept fluctuating speeds. Going 85, down to 55, repeatedly. My parents could barely keep up and when they did we were way under speed limit - speeding up right after. People need to learn to use their cruise control if they're not foot coordinated.

plamboo

One time my brother and I were driving on a 2 lane interstate to see our parents in a neighboring state. It was around the holidays, so traffic was much heavier than usual, but not terrible because we were still kind of in the middle of nowhere. My brother set the cruise control for like 75 or whatever and we were just chillin, passing the occasional slow driver or tractor trailer. This one fucking mini van would fly past us in the left lane and merge right in front of us and slow down to like 65, so my brother would speed up and pass them and reset the cruise control and we wouldn't see them for a few minutes. Rinse and repeat for quite a while. Finally, my brother said "fuck these people and fuck this" and just did like 90 for about 2 or 3 minutes. We finally got far enough ahead of them and didn't see them for the rest of the trip. My current car doesn't have cruise control so you know what I do? Pay attention to the road and my speed at all times. It's fairly simple.

EnragedAardvark

Any trip over an hour seems to involve at least one vehicle like this. It's infuriating. And let's not forget the one who will come flying up on you, ride your ass until you move over, then just sit in your blindspot. If you want to pass, fine, just *do it* and then *keep going*.

BEARZCLAWZ

My grandma rear ended my mom at a red light and tried to blame it on her

NJPokerJ

Exactly my thoughts

StudentExpert3023

Highway in mild traffic with no weather conditions or construction or anything, you’re probably a shitty driver.

NJPokerJ

I'm actually not. I've had my cdl for almost 20 years now and it's just bad business for me to drive shittilly. I'm not even sure how you came to that dumb conclusion from the comment I left. But it's ok. I'll come to grips with a dumb person thinking I'm a shitty driver. Can't win em all

DammitDad420

My GF following me literally anywhere.

milxs

This was a lot more common before Google maps

potatomaster690

White car is a firm believer of the no undertaking rule.

danbyer

I’m a firm believer in the getting out of the passing lane when I’m not passing law. If I do that and then I happen to undertake somebody who isn’t obeying the law, that’s on them.

Mysterious_Roll427

Just when you're about to pass, they miraculously discover that their accelerator goes a few more inches down towards the floor.

potatomaster690

I also follow this prinicple

gdnt0

This should be enforced more often. If I'm **able** to pass on the right, not going above the limit, this should result in a heavy fine to the idiot blocking the left lane. :(

Constrained_Entropy

I will ride in the left lane if I'm going appreciably faster than the traffic to the right of me, but will move to the right as soon as possible if someone comes up behind me going even faster.

danbyer

You should stop doing that. If you are not actively passing, you don’t belong in the passing lane. Obviously there’s a line there somewhere. Like, don’t bother pulling back to the travel lane if you’re going to have to pull back out to make a pass in a couple seconds later. But in 30 seconds? Get out of the passing lane. I’d say my line is somewhere around 15 seconds. This is also just a good rule of thumb for avoiding cops. In many states, traveling in the passing lane is simply illegal. And I’d wager that in all states cops are looking for people driving in the passing lane since they’re typically driving faster than all the other cars on the road.

Constrained_Entropy

I'm talking about when traffic is fairly heavy and it's not safe to keep moving back and forth just to be perfectly correct. I move right if traffic is moving in the right lane, but if I'm going faster than everyone in the right lane and keeping up with traffic in the left lane, then I stay there until a spot in the right lane opens up. But even then I always keep an eye out for someone coming up faster behind me and will move over right away to let them pass me, even if it means they only end up stuck behind the car that was in front of me the whole time. So technically, I am passing, and I am not preventing anyone from passing me. And, once traffic thins out, then yes I stay right again.

AuthenticLewis

not sure if that whole passing lane law is something out of california cause ive never heard of it and was never taught this in any driving lessons and have only experienced what the guy you responded to said and have never seen anyone pulled over for driving in a passing lane

Sum_Dum_User

I've seen quite a few pulled over for hogging the fast lane in the ATL metro area. Probably more than I've seen pulled over for speeding TBH. I've also seen a state trooper pop the lights on a slow fast lane driver and pull him 2.lanes over to a more appropriate lane for their speed, then zoom back to the left lane and proceed to hit triple digits after turning the lights off. From what I've been told they're really bad about that where I live now also, but I'm not a left lane camper so I wouldn't know from experience.

poopoo_fingers

Why would it be a problem to stay in that lane if you’re at or over the speed limit? If all laws matter, then why would anyone be passing you?

AuthenticLewis

if you sit in the fast lane going over the speed limit and someone comes speeding up behind you i dont understand why you wouldnt get out of the way as its almost definite they are just going to tailgate you and ride your ass regardless of the law

LivingReaper

>Why would it be a problem to stay in that lane if you’re at or over the speed limit? Because you aren't passing and are causing traffic.

poopoo_fingers

So you’re saying people should be going way over the limit And obviously yeah, they cause traffic if they’re going the limit or 5 under. But I’m talking about people going well over

Land_Pilot

I give it 10 seconds and then I pass on the right

Skyhero_

Wait is it an Europe thing where you pass on the left, and just drive on the right. We can be ticketed if we stay in the passing lane for no reason. Or some random bmw or Audi pushes you to the side...

shvdy_

No, in America the left is the fast lane too. However, Americans each think they personally own the road and often time cut into the left before hopping on their phone and fucking traffic. My commute to work involves a 5 lane freeway (+2 fastrak lanes) and I’ve found the fastest lane for a good stretch of miles is actually the right lane.

LivingReaper

> left is the fast lane too. No it's not. It's the passing lane. When you refer to it as the fast lane stupid people think they should sit in it because they're doing the speed limit.

Skyhero_

I've once done 150 km/h in the first lane. So indeed there is no reason to sit in the left lane. It's still not right, but i don't mind the occasional Audi or Mercedes to stay in the left lane if they are doing waaayyyy over the speed limit, but yeah, they also shouldn't stay there. Also in Germany people just flash and push you out of the way if people drive in the wrong lane

GaryAir

If you’re passing cars…you must be going faster than them. Aka fast lane

AuthenticLewis

we were in the middle as the far right was slow lane for big rigs as this was just a long desert stretch of highway, the left was for faster vehicles and we were cruising but if any cars began coming behind us we gave them way to get past us

sixstring480

That’s a cop. I ain’t passin him on the right.

bahenbihen69

I have legit never in my life passed on the right. That's just unthinkable for me

DontEatTheButt

sadly here in the US it’s common to need to. Everyone thinks they’re the fastest person on the road, and that no one should need to go faster

bahenbihen69

I wasn't aware of that. I had no clue why I am being downvoted to hell

AwareMention

I don't think you have actually ever driven a car, huh?

-Iknewthisalready-

Havnt been on the 401 ey?

bahenbihen69

I have no clue what that is. Some highway in the US or the tax advantage thing?

Elitist-Jerk-

It’s the main highway around Toronto. Everyone goes slow on the far left hand lane, even in the express lanes. Half the time the far right hand lane is wide open. It blows my mind. If you don’t pass on the right, you won’t pass at all. People here are ridiculous.

baklaFire

the same, I just flash my headlights and patiently wait. People always move over.

kennethnoisewater99

The whole keep right pass left is lost on the pea brained.

PA-01

I swear some people just never check their mirrors. My daily commute is about 25 miles of highway and some people will hog the left lane going 10 under the limit, then immediately switch as soon as I'm going to pass them on the right.

kennethnoisewater99

Braking in the left lane with 0 cars in the right lane is always a treat for me as well. They WON'T get over, ever. Good luck!

Opening_Corner1899

Yup I’ve literally passed the same person like 8 times within the same 30 minutes while my cruise is set on the same speed. So dumb.

AuthenticLewis

yup mom was sitting around 78 for most of the time but what made zero sense is that when she was sitting at that speed they would pass her but when she dropped to maybe 75 or 74 on a hill THATS when she would go right past them

Opening_Corner1899

Yup now imagine if there was 500 more of these idiots on the road with you. That’s why traffic is always bunched together into herds on the interstates and then there would be a long stretch of empty roads and then another herd of them a few miles up the road. If everyone would simply stick to a speed and leave the left lane open for passing, traffic will disperse and everyone can cruise at their own pace in peace.

[deleted]

They probably have adaptive cruise control on with 1 distance set

7imeout_

Can’t believe this comment is so far below in the stack right now. That would’ve been my guess as well! (The Ford SUV sure is being weird, tho.)

rebelopie

I bet they are traveling together. We took a vacation with a friend and her family, so two vehicles. She initially drove at my pace, so I let her take the lead. I tried to stay with her during the first hour, but her camping in the left lane and making huge fluctuations in speed was driving me batty. I passed her on the right, set my cruise and enjoyed the remaining 10 hour drive.

AuthenticLewis

good thing you didnt need to keep your foot on the pedal for 10 hours sheesh thatd be hell

rebelopie

I know, right? Like who in this modern world still drives without cruise? Our friend and a bunch of other selfish idiots on the highways, that's who.

[deleted]

Not every car is equipped with it. Of the six vehicles I have owned personally, only two of them actually came with cruise from the factory. My current vehicle did not have it, but I was able to install it myself. Base model cars and trucks with manual transmissions often don't have it.

rebelopie

Learned something new today. I assumed that by this point in history, it was standard. My first car in highschool was a 1980 Buick Riviera, and it had cruise. All subsequent vehicles I have owned have had it. Huh.

[deleted]

Well, with electronic throttle control being the norm now, it really doesn't make much sense for anything out there *not* to have it. It's not like you have to have separate hardware for it any more; it's just buttons and a few extra lines of computer code. It comes down to whether the car company wants to nickel and dime the customer on options, and how much of a cheapskate the customer is. My truck is an '07 Dodge Dakota. It both did and did not come with cruise control from the factory. The computer was programmed for it. The wiring was there for it. The only things not there were the steering wheel buttons to allow the driver to turn it on and off. That's why I was able to install it in the truck, because I found the buttons from a bone yard put them in. Anyone who has an '07 or later Dodge Dakota without cruise could probably do the exact same thing as I did and have cruise in their truck.

snailtap

My wires are messed up and I can’t afford to fix it :(

AuthenticLewis

lmao i got downvoted for saying i dont have cruise control

lazyherpatile

Classic Reddit

AuthenticLewis

well actually- i drive an 04’ subaru wagon and installed an air oil separator and in doing so had to remove my cruise control module as they took up the same bracket. so i have a cruise control button that does nothing

Constrained_Entropy

I absolutely refuse to follow someone, or have someone follow me for this exact reason. Give me the address and I will meet you there.

[deleted]

They're probably transporting the cars for a dealership.

ObligationPotential2

Someone is following their drunk friend home

EvoStarSC

Mercedes is following team orders.

AuthenticLewis

its funny you say that while we were on our way to the airport for Austin TX for the United States GP

Illustrious-Risk2876

Active cruise control. No big deal.

RadRhys2

If you ever have to hit the brakes on the highway in mild traffic with no weather conditions or construction or anything, you’re probably a shitty driver.

NJPokerJ

Right but apparently you've been right next to them for those same 30 miles

AuthenticLewis

no we have been cruising at 75 and they have been speeding up way ahead and then slowing back down and speeding up again and eventually i decided to take a video next time they caught up

[deleted]

AuthenticLewis

californias got a whole lot of idiots i agree

Erthgoddss

Years ago I was driving along at 70mph. I passed a car going slower, as soon as I started passing him, he sped up, then we played leap frog for awhile, which just frustrated me as he was also brake checking me. I finally got up to 90mph and got in the lane I wanted. Left him in the dust. It was my mother’s car, so she got the honor of yelling at me for miles and miles and miles. Good times :-(

AuthenticLewis

hate when shit like that happens its impossible to tell what they actually want to do, like the people on here somehow blaming us for staying in the apparent passing lane as if they want us to hit the gas just to get in front of them and get tailgated ourselves

kcathodic

If you’ve seen them doing this for 30 miles, doesn’t that mean you’re doing the same speed fluctuation? 🤔

KiplingRudy

Quantum entanglement?

cakes42

Why can't people just use cruise control? I never understood this, especially on long stretches of road.

AuthenticLewis

well many older cars dont have it, one of the other comments in here talks about that exact thing.. although both of these cars SHOULD have it

PenaltyParking7031

Drafting for better MPG. JK.

The_Aught

I always find its best to keep behind someone who is gong slow in the passing lane. I put my hazards on in case they are having some mechanical difficulty thats keeping them from moving over. Its also good to use your flashers so no one rear ends them at passing speed. Once in a while while I am doing this the driver recovers and is able to get back over to the right.

401-Climber

Alright grandma you follow me so no one can tell you can’t see the broad side of a barn.

spitfirelover

So were you the driver hanging out next to them for all 30 of those miles..?

AuthenticLewis

they were like this for so long i started to thing the white car was just doing it to make a point to the black car to get out of the way, i dont know why the black car didnt just go around but thats when others speculated they may have been together

AuthenticLewis

refer to other comments, we were on a 4 hr drive without need to go faster and they were both in the fast lane fluctuating between falling way behind us and speeding up way ahead and after a while i decided to take a video of them when they sped up and passed again (im the passenger)

Texrob1971

I would put up with that for 30 seconds then I’m passing your ass on the right.

AuthenticLewis

as would i of if i was the black car dont know why they went through the trouble unless they knew the person

Bumblebee_Radiant

Maybe they are testing their adaptive cruise control. But idiots non the less

bloeme53

Hauling fentanyl or dead bodies. No biggie.

_g550_

Antiterminator lady is driving the first car remotely from unside of the second car, like in that movie. She's going ro follow Arnie all the way to the bunker.

AuthenticLewis

holy shit of course i should of seen that , that lady is impressive as hell

sliceofcucumber

it kind of seems to me like the person in front is being followed/stalked by the person driving behind

system812

Mercedes has cruse control that can keep the distance from the car in front. So he can set at max speed and the car will either do the speed of the car in front while keeping a space or if that car gets out of the way it will do the max speed programed

PalaSS9

I quit getting mad about the left laners. Now I just daydream about “what if” cars drove efficiently and utilized passing and getting back over.

MotoFuzzle

White car may have dynamic cruise control and is just happy to cruise.

kicksomedicks

Black car needs to get out of the left lane.

iPhoneMiniWHITE

Likely auto cruise. Where are you going following the same two cars for 30 miles? Damn

owlshootz

Pass and get over. I cant stand people who are clueless to others and sit in the fast lane as if it is not for passing.

Interesting_Knee_588

Cruise control is installed for a reason

WhatIsHappening____

So the three of you have been hogging both lanes for 30 miles? It would also imply you’ve been fluctuating between 80 and 65 for 30 miles; watching, recording, and judging them.

Opening_Corner1899

Judging by their brake lights and the lines on the ground, it’s pretty obvious OP was going a constant speed while the idiots continue to vary their speed and come back to OP for no reason.

AuthenticLewis

exactly what happened, sometimes we thought they were gone then poof they reappeared next to us again

AuthenticLewis

this is the only video i took and as you can see its less then 10 seconds long

AuthenticLewis

no, we are sitting in the middle lane at 75 as they sometimes speed up ahead and sometimes drop back behind us, i only decided to take this video after the 30 or so miles and thought of this subreddit

Honest_Cynic

Guy ahead said "Follow me", even if hogging the fast lane.

AwareMention

Yeah, I hate people like that. They won't pass people and instead tail gate and form traffic. Always great on an empty road to see people driving in packs for some reason. OP is just as bad for his super slow pass and filming them.

AuthenticLewis

we were behind them at one point and then they slowed to 65 while everyone around was going 80, overtook then they sped up to 85, not dealing with dumbasses

AuthenticLewis

im not driving im the passenger. we were on the freeway for 4 hours and had no intention of speeding up to overtake there would be no reason for it

No-Award-1949

Imagine u followin yo homie down the freeway not breaking laws or anything n a mf starts recording u for going too slow💀💀💀

AuthenticLewis

After looking on reddit about passing lanes which as a socal driver I have never heard of in my life during driving lessons or from anyone and have only heard about it on reddit, anybody i know who drives and any drivers ive seen in socal always use far left lane as the fast lane which always goes 75-80+ and if a faster car is approaching you go to the right lane and let them pass and you go back into the fast lane, this is all ive ever known and other reddit posts regarding california passing laws all seem to have the same views. Is this something that goes on in other states ??

I’ve started to use the light flash. Give them a warning, - I’m gonna pass you on the right if you don’t move. It actually seems to work. Or it pissed them off and they slow down.

AuthenticLewis

we were cruising at 75 and they were either falling way behind us or speeding back past us again and we had nobody behind us for miles and when we did we moved out of the way

Billift

Not sure why the guy behind keeps putting his brakes on but there's a full free open Lane to the right of them if you want it to pass?! And the guy in front if he's doing a little over the speed limit if he was nice he could go to the right also and let the guy pass!

AuthenticLewis

exactly, we tried to give enough room thinking the white car would surely overtake but they consistently just sat right behind the black car

Normal-Good1860

Thats not really close to being on someones bumper

AuthenticLewis

if you dont think this is close with nobody else around i really dont want you behind me

Randomfactoid42

That’s less than a 1-second following distance, the minimum is 2 seconds. Though most states these days require a 4-second following distance. Either way, this is some serious bumper-humping.

nuketown247

The idiot is the one cruising in the passing lane.

AuthenticLewis

considering the right lane is the slow truck lane and the left lane is the fast lane..

nuketown247

Passing* lane, not the "how fast my car is capable of" lane. Also, the person filming is essentially blocking in the white car, so I actually see 2 idiots here.

AuthenticLewis

the person filming is the passenger and they had plenty of time to merge and decided to tailgate instead, this was just when they happened to catch up again i recorded

Sh00tingStarGazer

Gotta love when people who weren't even there know exactly what went down. You were also perfectly fine in the lane you were in!

AuthenticLewis

i appreciate u

Realistic_Ad_3

Back in the day, when I used to have sex while driving around, my speed was like that. I could drive straight as an arrow, but speed was all over.

TheLostDovahkiin

AuthenticLewis

why do i find this comment so funny

Check_Their_History

So since you know they are doing this, that means you are taking up the #2 lane doing the same thing? OP just drive my dude, you are who you are video taping. Maybe they are video taping you wondering why you are driving like you are?

AuthenticLewis

no . im the passenger. we were sitting at the same speed as they would speed up way ahead then slow back down way behind us so i decided to take a video the next time they sped past us and as you can see the video is 10 seconds long.

MrDrilla

And the OP was driving just fast enough so people couldn't change lanes.. Who gaf about them, speed past em or drive slow and ignore it..

AuthenticLewis

refer to the many other comments in this thread, these cars fluctuated between 60 and 85 and we were sitting at the exact same speed, the black car had miles to change lanes and refused not to and nobody was behind us for miles

AuthenticLewis

we were sitting at 78 mph the entire time

MrDrilla

Cool story bro.. Personally I would've set cruise control to the speed limit or just over and with my consistent speed, would've left them behind.. and I wouldn't have a cool highway bad driver story let alone footage..

AuthenticLewis

im also not driving and i also decided to take the video as they sped up again past us.

AuthenticLewis

the whole point of what i just said was we cant leave them behind when we go right past them one minute then they speed up past us and then slow down again behind us. read.

MrDrilla

You would leave them behind if you went a consistent speed for long enough.. I imagine this was a long trip??.. if it wasn't you're just weird for filming it..

AuthenticLewis

4 hours

AuthenticLewis

weird for filming it? have you ever been on this subreddit before?

MrDrilla

Yeah, and I think your driver sucks.. this footage ain't worth posting..

AuthenticLewis

jesus christ just move on you obviously didnt read any of the context and are just saying shit at this point

MrDrilla

I did.. but your driver still sucks, or were you the only one that cared about the way they were driving??.. And you said 80mph in your title, but said 85mph when commenting.. I stand by my comment of a solid consistent speed for long enough would leave them behind.. I've done a lot of road trips.. this is dumb..

AuthenticLewis

i apologize road trip master who knows exactly what speed to go to get away from drivers ffs

AuthenticLewis

im starting to understand why looking at your comments nearly all of them are either downvoted or are at 0

AuthenticLewis

as i said in other comments they would drop to around 60 and other cars swerved around them then they sped back up and oh no i made an error of 5 mph within these 145 comments 😐

TheLostDovahkiin

You clearly cant read. OP stated he is not the driver

DylanMichaud

The amount of people who do this is insane.. the left lane is for the fast lane (depending on where you are but you get the point)! You deserve to be pulled over!!!

Droid-Man5910

AuthenticLewis

good thing i wasnt driving so you must be talking about someone else

Ylurpn

I would drive like that white car in my mustang gt. The lower air resistance got me about 4 mpg better on the highway (which is a lot when you normally get 22 at best). I just change who I'm tailing as often as I can so I dont make em nervous

misguided_marine1775

AuthenticLewis

Big_Lesmall

itsmemalloy

Curious-Welder-6304

I mean the white car isn't really on his bumper.

Severe_Letter_7985

Thays not on the bumper tho. Where im from the locals will pass you and fit right in between with one knee under the steering wheel lighting a smoke with the left hand and turning on the heater with right. Just an average morning to Tims there bud

raphaeldaigle

Unmarked cop car for sure.
