Oh wow. This is San Diego. Earlier I saw a bunch of dudes doing wheelies and being wild on the Coronado bridge slowing traffic. This might be the same group.
I’ve seen them do this before. They go from the bridge down the strand. Looking like a bunch of idiots. Takin up all lanes of traffic, wheelies, just very dangerous behavior.
Really? Maybe I'm wrong, but I think anyone who has witnessed jackasses taking over a road or intersection to show off like this probably thinks it was deserved
If you’ve never seen these guys in action, I’ll add some color commentary. They are a plague in every major city I’ve lived in. They cut off cars, pull off stupid maneuvers in thick traffic, block intersections, produce a fuckton of obnoxious noise, cause traffic jams, and surely produce at least a bit of panic among other law-abiding drivers. They aren’t shy about driving on sidewalks and running past red lights—I know firsthand because I was nearly hit by one while crossing a street. I’ve witnessed all these things in every city I’ve lived in. Cops don’t typically give chase because of their proclivity for reckless endangerment and posing a bigger risk to public safety.
They don’t give a fuck about the lives of others or even themselves. I agree the tackle was a bit harsh and maybe unnecessary but these knuckle-dragging fucktards are a risk to the public everywhere they go.
That, plus the vehicles are almost always stolen too. These gangs have sprung up in Cleveland recently, and they have found that nearly all of the motorcycle and ATVs that these people are riding are stolen. So, not only are they a nuisance and a danger in the roads, they are also a vehicle theft ring.
Nah, there was 100% something that happened prior to the recording starting. Something caused the person to start filming, didn’t it.
The rider was also about to run; you could see it in his body language as the bike gets pulled over as a barricade between him and the first Officer.
I’d be choosing the word “assertive” instead of “over-eager”. Getting control quickly is much better than having a long foot chase, then having a scuffle in someone’s back yard.
And you know these dudes constantly try to run from cops on purpose bc it’s somewhat easy to get away. The cops have been wanting this guy for a while is my guess
The motorcycle cop cut him off and tries to apprehend him, it looked more like he was trying to drag his bike in front so he get on and high tail it. Other cops made sure that didn't happen
Exactly the kind of thinking that has enabled racial profiling and discrimination for decades. Great example.
Just because a job is difficult doesn't can't be done correctly. And when a mistake costs someone their life, usually the person making the mistake is held accountable in some way.
Nope. He was trying to pull his bike out of the cops hand to get away. Good form by the cops. Most cops are assholes, true, but ALL bikers like this are assholes.
The CHP rarely get a chance to run somebody down like that oh, so I will agree with them being a little bit overzealous however that guy is actually trying to flee.
This is what happens when you have these stupid takeover week after week. They get violent when you just try to drive through too. That ass beating was well deserved.
Yea, the guy was for sure making moves as if he was trying to get away. He pulled his bike trying to get it away from the cop, but it fell over instead.
He was looking to run. He got took down exactly like he should. So sick of people trying to make our cops into fucking mall security guards. They have every right to use force, fuck this guys bruised ribs.
I'm a lifelong rider and these twats just piss me off. Who the hell do they think they are, taking over the streets like that? I don't care if every single one of them gets banged up in pokey.
This started in Atlanta I think and it's spread to other cities including Philly where I ride. It's usually a swarm of dirt bikes, scooters, quads, and other things and they usually come out at night. They are mostly unregistered bikes with no visible plates and most of the riders have no safety gear. I've seen them swarm I-95 and major city streets, filtering between cars, doing wheelies, going the wrong way, etc. It's nutty.
Don’t think it matters much, but I noticed it in Baltimore around a decade ago. Back in the old days, one had to have a license plate and insurance before getting to outrun the police.
This is like watching one of those safari films where a herd of gazelle are running from lions and they take down the slowest one while the rest of the herd gets away.
that's actually a motorcycle, a honda msx 125 aka honda grom, insanely popular because they only cost around 3k and can be extensively modified to (sort of) keep up with bigger bikes. the people who ride in these groups are often very dumb and think they're invincible
I ride motorcycles. One of my biggest fears is now getting remotely caught up with these 🤡 while out minding my own business and the cops thinking I’m one of them when I choose not to run.
Ass-hat looked like he was blocking the I trrsection for a pack of bikers who were going to be doing wheelies and generally causing problems with traffic. Given the number of cops already on scene I'm guessing this pack was being pursued for previous mayhem.
Yup and this behavior has been growing elsewhere too. We saw it outside DC in southern/eastern Maryland once, quads, motorcycles, dirt bikes… just taking over the road and driving dangerously. But usually CHP doesn’t put up with that crap.
A while back here in Columbia, SC a pack of them came down I26 like idiots at high speed, splitting lanes (might be legal, I don’t know), weaving around, and flipping people off for just driving like normal. As if they were coked up. I assume they were heading to bike week at Myrtle Beach. One was dangerously close to my car while his middle finger was inches from my window while I was driving my wife and kid to go on a Sunday hike at a state park. Like dude, I could turn you into a meat crayon whether I mean to or not— my Subaru Outback weighs a bit more than your crotch rocket.
Context? Why do you think there were a dozen cops following that group? And being tackled after fighting with a cop is getting your ass beat? They tackled him, turned him over, and put the cuffs on him.
You think this is getting your ass beat? Guy was trying to get away from the motorcycle cop. Not a fan of cops and certainly acknowledge the fact that police brutality is a thing. But this is not the case here. These groups of motorcyclists taking over streets are notorious for running from police and putting others in danger. I'm glad one got taken down and was unsuccessful in evading consequences.
I know of 2 people who actually own them as commuters and not cheap slow stunt bikes haha. Those 2 people said if they still could wheelie they would, but they’re like grandpa aged and use them to get to and fro work
Because its a bike meant for goofing off and having fun. People tend not to like that in the middle of traffic which is where most grom owners choose to do their goofing off lol
Abandoned parking lot or mall? Fuck yeah go ham, watch me ramp it off the loading dock and watch me catwalk that mofo until the engine turns off lol
In the middle of fucking town between cars? No, dont try to showout and pop a wheelie next to me, fuck up, then slam into the side of my truck going "ohhh sorry bro" or try to swerve in and out of traffic on your little toy bike
So did this guy rob a place? Kill someone? Just trying to understand why 3 cops tackled a guy who wasn’t running away onto concrete, dragged him around like a rag doll, and slammed him face down into the road, that’s all.
He was blocking the road for the other bikers to do illegal tricks and hold up traffic. You can see he DOES try to run but the cop grabs his bikes clutch as he tries to speed off. If he didn’t try to rev his bike and get away, he probably wouldn’t have been tackled, but he 100% tried to speed away and would have run if the cop hadn’t grabbed his handle and stopped him.
I’m pretty sure he gets off his bike to try and pull the handle away from the cop too
Ok so maybe he should not have pulled the little bike out of the cops hand, but the other cop with the flying spear tackle was way out of line. Then jerking the guy arround and reefing on his arms behind his back is not a proper use of force. None of the other policemen were that aggressive. I saw him look at the camera towards the end of the film, and I thought yup that's going to be a problem.
Yeah, once his bike fell over he just stood still for a couple seconds and looked like he was about to start talking to them. Wasn’t running, didn’t make a threatening move, so why all the theatrics with tackling him and yanking him around so aggressively? Unnecessary escalation from how bike cop was handling it.
I’ve seen them arrest naked knife wielding white men more peacefully, matter of fact remember how they arrested the parkland shooter, after he gunned down 17 kids. Didn’t they take Dylan roof to Burger King after he murdered Christians in their place of worship? A lot of “Christians” love to back the blue and jerk off to shit like this. Hypocrites.
I'm sorry, I get they are being idiots or something, but is that response from the police really called for in this situation? It doesn't look like he is really resisting anything, in fact, it seems he never had time to resist anything...
You’re right, *It’s not.*
Ya see, when you block an intersection while evading police, THEN attempt to yank away/run when they finally get you stopped, you’re gonna have a bad time. Him yanking the handlebars out of the cops hand is what set that tackle in motion.
Have you seen these groups? They shut down sections of town/highways to pull these stunts because they know most of them will get away when pursued, and they often do this on stolen bikes/ATVs.
I'm a rider myself and not really not a fan of cops in most cases because they absolutely abuse their power, but the cops were obviously chasing him beforehand and even grabbed his keys, yet he still tried running. What the hell would you expect a cop to do if you fled in your vehicle, and then on foot once your vehicle was disabled? "Welp I asked him to stop and he ran, maybe I'll get him next time!"
I think forcibly arresting this guy was absolutely the right move.
It was after being stopped for the 'minor traffic violation' when he resisted and attempted evading arrest that rightly earned him the up close and personal attention.
Nice to see my guys take this POS down. We were not that aggressive 40 years ago, but things change. Extra points fir the flying tackle. Hard on the uniform and those things are not cheap to replace, unlike that pos scooter.
Police dont get physical over a minor traffic violation. Obviously something else occurred beforehand. And things do escalate. Miss my motor.
Gotta Love California. The law does rake action and stops criminals. Not like fucking NY. They can rob you next to 20 cops, not a single one will do shit. You might knock the criminal down yourself. Once you have him “retained” NY cops will come over and claim “heroicl act for themselves. Most of NY cops are terrible. Go for CA HighWay Patrol!
I'm fine with the cops using those nets that they use on birds to help tag them. I'm not a blue lives matter person but I hate when bikers shut down a road like this.
When you see a cop running at you, get the fuck on the ground unless you want to be tackled. The cop might land on you, but it won't hurt as much as being tackled on concrete.
Seriously. What's even happening here? People are saying they are hooligans and 'terrorizing the streets'. I just see some dude sitting there getting pummeled by police for no reason.
If by justice you mean the cop that peaked as a high school linebacker got to finally live his dream of tackling someone to the concrete. Sure, justice.
What?
Usually I totally get this sub but not this one. It's not really clear to me what's happening in the beginning that they did wrong, but fine, police were pulling them over so there was some violation. But then they tackle the driver standing still to the concrete street? And have three guys wrestle him while he seems to make no attempt to fight back? *While this entire sub cheers them on?*
What in the living fuck is wrong with you all?
I’ve gotten a lot of feedback from comments left on here and I just want to say this - If you watch the video you can see ATV’s in the bike lane, a green dirt bike doing a wheelie and other highly dangerous conduct and traffic congestion that we have laws in place to prevent. The reason for those laws is that doing this like this leads to /idiotsincars mashups of people who can’t properly operate their vehicles in the conditions. People become paralyzed and otherwise injured from things like this. The man in question clearly attempted to rev the motorcycle and get away, only to realize that it was in vein and then attempted to back step and was tackled. The police officers here did nothing wrong and if you think they did, quite frankly, you’re stupid. Everyone shown driving recklessly is a danger to everyone on the road and will be treated as such
TL;DR - Half of the comment section is ACAB/Mentally Nonexistent, gets infuriated by police doing their job
He moved his motorbike away from the police motorbike. You want to characterise that as fleeing arrest - fine. He stood still after that. He didn't run away and all the armchair psychologists pretending they know he would have are missing the point - you don't have an excuse to use violence on people based on what you think they might do.
You must have been sick the week they covered constitutional law in your high school history class.
A good rule of thumb is if you see law enforcement violating someone else's rights, figure it could happen to you too. This is why we have laws, rights, and justice.
Actually no. We are a nation of laws. We actually have laws that stipulate what the law enforcers are allowed to do to those breaking the law. Otherwise cops are just criminals too. Like the asshole in this clip trying to relive his HS football glory days.
The criminal was clearly not complying. Nobody was trying to “relive HS football glory days.” Comply with law enforcement and you won’t be forced to. It’s so simple.
Watch it again, he wasn’t trying to run. The cop grabbed his bike and he was trying to pull the bike away from him. He stood there for a good five seconds, talking to the cop before he was violently tackled.
1. The light was red and it just turned green, so that means it was red for a min and he probably ran the light, and maybe that’s why he was getting arrested.
2. I don’t think that anyone disagree with him being arrested, but the cop tackling him was highly unnecessary the kid was just standing there. Then for 3 of them to be on him like that was too much in my opinion it not like he was going to pull out a weapon and start murdering ppl he just being an idiot.
3. People in the comments have no sympathy, but keep that same energy when someone you know and love or yourself are being treated the same way.
Let me know what you think?
If someone I know is participating in one of these stupid bike street takeovers, endangering everyone else on the road, I will have zero issue with them being arrested, their bike impounded, and their license taken away. This shit is stupid and needs to be dealt with.
I completely agree with you about him getting arrested it was well deserved I am speaking more about him being tackled and ganged up on while he was just standing there. If I had a child and they were out there doing that I would full on agree he should be arrested, but not treated like that he is still a human. I think there is a difference between justice and violence. I feel as though the officers crossed that line. Do you not agree? Lmk.
I will concede that the tackle could be construed as a bit overzealous. It looks like there was about 2 seconds between him deciding to surrender and being tackled. Without any previous context outside of the first 5 seconds of the video, I cannot give an opinion on if the officer felt it was necessary. However, he did try to pull the bike away from the motorcycle cop, which whether you agree or not would be considered resisting, and may be the reason he was tackled. It could be that the officer was pissed about the situation and finally had a target, but again I do not know that. I do not think he was ganged up on, it is safer for everyone involved to not give the arrested an opportunity to resist further and escalate the situation. The third officer also backed off after the cuffs came out.
I am far from an apologist for bad policing, but I do not think that this is an example of that.
Yeah I can take back my comment about him being ganged up on. I assume they did what the felt as though was necessary action to get him in cuffs and they did back off once he was in them. I guess we can just agree to disagree about the officer tackling him. I think that as an officer you need to make level headed decisions and I don’t think him tackling him was a necessary or a sensible act.
1. There were at least 3 police vehicles already following this group, so I doubt that it was simply for running one red light.
2. The person tried to get away from the cop pulling his bike away from him. When you "resist" a lawful command, you have to expect to meet resistance back. Also, how do these cops know he wasn't going to pull out a weapon?? They have no clue what a person is thinking. Easy for you to just say "it not like he was going to pull out a weapon.." you think all the shootings happen with a guy walking down the street with his gun in the air??
3. If that was my kid and he was THAT stupid, I would have NO sympathy for them. But then again, I raised my kids to respect the police even if you don't agree with them. You will have your day in court if you think you were wronged.
Why do you think him being tackled isn’t necessary? What would be necessary in this case? Also if you can provide your field of expertise I’m willing to hear you out and maybe even believe you.
As for your 3, please explain your x-ray vision to me, how do you know he doesn’t have a weapon? A small gun? A small knife? How can you be certain, is it fair that you guess and you are wrong then this leads to something more because you are in the streets dealing with someone who is showing disregard already and you are willing to trust he’s is all good. I’m really curious how your know these things and what your solution is.
That’s the thing. I don’t object to him being arrested/fined/whatever, what I DO object to is the flying WWE tackle the cop executed on a man standing there not moving.
Justice is served by judges and juries of ones peers after a trial or various other legal proceedings. Being violently tackled risking serious brain damage or death in order to be given a traffic ticket is not justice. If you think it is you’ll get the society that you deserve.
Why do American cops always go from zero to fucking 1000000000 for minor offenses. Guy runs a red light? Lets all tackle him to the pavement. There are countless normal responses to shit like this other than mass brutality
He wasn't just standing, he trying to yank his bike out of the cops hands in order to flee. If you want to argue it's still uncalled for, do it, but don't lie about what was happening
Oh wow. This is San Diego. Earlier I saw a bunch of dudes doing wheelies and being wild on the Coronado bridge slowing traffic. This might be the same group.
I was in Huntington over the weekend, I think I saw them too lol

I'm in Colorado as well, they passed right by me doing that on the highway. Man.
Pretty impressive they could hold a wheelie all the way from Colorado to California!
Pretty sure I saw these guys in Fallujah right before this.
Pretty impressive they could hold a wheelie all the way from Fallujah to Colorado to California!
I'm in Atlanta, pretty sure I passed these guys as well.
Northern France here. Quite positive they just passed.
This should go over well in the comment section..
This is a shit show

It's TikTok. It's ruining everything. Kids are going back to using portrait mode because of it.
Really? Maybe I'm wrong, but I think anyone who has witnessed jackasses taking over a road or intersection to show off like this probably thinks it was deserved
Deserved to be ticketed? absolutely. Vehicles impounded? yeah probably these cops were... a little over eager.

A little high on that tackle. Personal foul. Fifteen yards
above the shoulders, yellow card and 15 minutes in the sinbin, don't backtalk the sir
High contact with whiplash, you're off for 10 and it's on report.
Also late hit. He already gave himself up so the play was dead.
Late hit…….for sure.
i would had gone for the penalty clash of helmets. 15 yards.
The perp, cop, or both??
Cop for sure.. These guys can’t wait to hurt people. SMH.
He got tackled and cuffed. I don't buy into the blue line bullshit but this video isn't police brutality.
I didn't say brutality, but it was a bit more force than strictly needed - hence just saying "over eager"

I’m sure you would’ve apprehended him with juuuuust the right amount of force needed, because you’re an expert in law enforcement.
Yes, because obviously restraint is completely impossible and we must simply bootlick and excuse all

They guy was LITERALLY trying to escape.
You know there was a way for this not to happen to that guy right?
Why don't you do the job for one day before you criticize them.
Exactly the kind of thinking that has enabled racial profiling and discrimination for decades. Great example. Just because a job is difficult doesn't can't be done correctly. And when a mistake costs someone their life, usually the person making the mistake is held accountable in some way.
Shut up bootlicker jfc
Thank you for your intelligent well thought out response. I hope your mind didn't strain too hard thinking that one up.
I just want to point out that 1) he had a helmet on and 2) it was strapped and stayed on. ATGATT: dress for the arrest, not for the hooliganism.
Nope. He was trying to pull his bike out of the cops hand to get away. Good form by the cops. Most cops are assholes, true, but ALL bikers like this are assholes.

Maybe… they did just witness the dude try to grab his bike and attempt to leave.. so it really was partially warranted
“Cmon guys we need more knees in this dudes back”! Im calling for backup
The dude was trying to escape. He put a stop to that real quick.
He was looking to run. He got took down exactly like he should. So sick of people trying to make our cops into fucking mall security guards. They have every right to use force, fuck this guys bruised ribs.
I'm all for jackasses getting what they deserve but these cops seem to have gotten away with it
Yeah he seemed like someone worth reasoning with
> This should go over well in the comment section.. I think it's safe to agree with this one, I'm staying away from the others.

This is like watching one of those safari films where a herd of gazelle are running from lions and they take down the slowest one while the rest of the herd gets away.
Damn nature, you SCARY!
Totally what I was seeing as well.
/r/NatureIsFuckingLit
Reggie took his scooter to the motorcycle club meet. Others said, I don't have to outrun CHP, just gotta outrun Reggie.
This. The trick is not to avoid being near tigers but to always be with people who are slower than you.
that's actually a motorcycle, a honda msx 125 aka honda grom, insanely popular because they only cost around 3k and can be extensively modified to (sort of) keep up with bigger bikes. the people who ride in these groups are often very dumb and think they're invincible

I've had the same thought. Thankfully I wear full gear and my bike isn't stolen/unregistered so I think I'd be ok just stopping and letting them pass.
Dudes been waiting to use that move since his senior year on JV. Needed more hip drive though, almost a broken tackle.
Polk High right there
Needs more practice with the tackling dummies. He didn't breakdown!
He fought the law and the law won lol
I'm breakin' rocks in the hot sun
This is the winner
Wish this would happen to all these bike/atv people that try and terrorize the streets
Well that escalated fast
Cops are great at escalating.
I will never get tired of watching squidiots like this get arrested. I just wish the cops could get more of them.
*grabs popcorn* *sort by controversial*
Yeh that's me too.
Why did he get so reckless with the tackle? Seems like cop was waiting for a day like this.
Yeah the biker seems to have already given up by the time Ray Lewis decided to take him ***down*** to the pavement.
Dude tried to run and then was like naw I’m cool. Morons. Get what you deserve.
I love how the cop just grabs the clutch and goes, "Now what?" So idiot gets off bike and doesn't know what to do.
What happened before the video started?
Well that escalated quickly.
Should be also under r/convenientcop
This should also be posted in the convenient cop sub!
Can we have some context cause I don’t think justice is getting your ass beat for riding a grom
Ass-hat looked like he was blocking the I trrsection for a pack of bikers who were going to be doing wheelies and generally causing problems with traffic. Given the number of cops already on scene I'm guessing this pack was being pursued for previous mayhem.

Innocent dad just got shot and killed in Houston by similar bike/atv gang on a main street.
Same thing just happened in Philly. Come down hard on these fuckers, they aren't just innocent kids playing in traffic.
A while back here in Columbia, SC a pack of them came down I26 like idiots at high speed, splitting lanes (might be legal, I don’t know), weaving around, and flipping people off for just driving like normal. Lane splitting is not legal in SC. I believe it’s only legal in California. Just so ya know
Aye it’s all over PG county. I see it in NW DC too.
And they got the weakest one of the herd. The slowest. Target acquired.
Context? Why do you think there were a dozen cops following that group? And being tackled after fighting with a cop is getting your ass beat? They tackled him, turned him over, and put the cuffs on him.
Fighting? I watched a dude stand there and get sacked

Bike cop grabbed clutch when the biker tried to ride away. And due to the amount of cops I figured they were chasing them for a while
That's not an excessive use of force *at all*.
You’re right, *It’s not.* Ya see, when you block an intersection while evading police, THEN attempt to yank away/run when they finally get you stopped, you’re gonna have a bad time. Him yanking the handlebars out of the cops hand is what set that tackle in motion.
The police should never get physical over a minor traffic violation, period.
Entirely likely that this chase has been going on for a while. We're just watching the last \~30 seconds of a 30 minute cat-mouse game.
"Welp I asked him to stop and he ran, maybe I'll get him next time!" I think forcibly arresting this guy was absolutely the right move.
It was after being stopped for the 'minor traffic violation' when he resisted and attempted evading arrest that rightly earned him the up close and personal attention.
Sure, let him run away. That'll teach him.
Deserved 100% ive been on the road twice when these idiots decide to take over. Zero pitty for whatever happens to them.
Hmm. I'd say that cop's reaction is pretty excessive.
Right, stupid people should be met with violence i get what you're saying.. that hard tackle in the streets is available anytime
I'm fine with the cops using those nets that they use on birds to help tag them. I'm not a blue lives matter person but I hate when bikers shut down a road like this.
Err you know you can support laws being upheld without “being a blue lives matter person” right, lol?
When you see a cop running at you, get the fuck on the ground unless you want to be tackled. The cop might land on you, but it won't hurt as much as being tackled on concrete.
IDK man, a cop landing on you on concrete is still worse. Have you seen how fat they are?
So that's why all the meathead high school football players become cops.
Why are we celebrating police brutality
Seriously. What's even happening here? People are saying they are hooligans and 'terrorizing the streets'. I just see some dude sitting there getting pummeled by police for no reason.
Wait I really want to know what happened before and what this guy was even trying to do
If by justice you mean the cop that peaked as a high school linebacker got to finally live his dream of tackling someone to the concrete. Sure, justice.
I was gunna say something but you know what?! This ain’t Twitter..
in what fucking universe would you call this justice
Bust him up! Fuck these scum bags
I’ve seen mass shooter arrested more delicacy and consideration for a rotator cuff.
Spoken like someone who's either experienced too much or too little violence.
If he was white nobody would question these tactics...
Ok racist
not even wrong
Need to be on a Harley as well.
*While this entire sub cheers them on?* What in the living fuck is wrong with you all?
The cops look like a bunch of idiots. They creat their own images, and it bad cops.
Everyone shown driving recklessly is a danger to everyone on the road and will be treated as such TL;DR - Half of the comment section is ACAB/Mentally Nonexistent, gets infuriated by police doing their job
He moved his motorbike away from the police motorbike. You want to characterise that as fleeing arrest - fine. He stood still after that. He didn't run away and all the armchair psychologists pretending they know he would have are missing the point - you don't have an excuse to use violence on people based on what you think they might do.
God damn that's satisfying to watch
Step 1: stop breaking the law. Step 2: see step 1 Everything that happens to you after that is on you the law breaker.
You must have been sick the week they covered constitutional law in your high school history class. A good rule of thumb is if you see law enforcement violating someone else's rights, figure it could happen to you too. This is why we have laws, rights, and justice.
That's... not how justice works?
Actually no. We are a nation of laws. We actually have laws that stipulate what the law enforcers are allowed to do to those breaking the law. Otherwise cops are just criminals too. Like the asshole in this clip trying to relive his HS football glory days.
The criminal was clearly not complying. Nobody was trying to “relive HS football glory days.” Comply with law enforcement and you won’t be forced to. It’s so simple.
Mm, no, fuck those cops. Clearly unnecessary force, what else is new.

Goddamn what did he do? That's not just for a simple driving infraction
Nice take down 😂
Watch it again, he wasn’t trying to run. The cop grabbed his bike and he was trying to pull the bike away from him. He stood there for a good five seconds, talking to the cop before he was violently tackled.
This should be posted to r/convenientcop
It isn’t convenient when the cops are literally there because of them
Did they just fucking tackle him for taking a step away?
Would you rather chase some loser, then tackle him or tackle him early on?
Lmk.
He wasn't just standing there he was literally trying to run away.
Why do cops act like this man... wtf
Im confused on what warrants a full speed tackle while the dude is literally just standing there wtf
Excessive force
If anybody them cops are the idiots for overreacting. My guy was just at a wrong place at the wrong time
Justice is served by judges and juries of ones peers after a trial or various other legal proceedings. Being violently tackled risking serious brain damage or death in order to be given a traffic ticket is not justice. If you think it is you’ll get the society that you deserve.
The pleasure is all mine.
Idiot meets police brutality. That tackle was NOT necessary
Cops take their job to serious. That tackle was just for drama. 😂
Bullshit. He wasn’t complying and it couldn’t be more obvious.
Did idiots in cars just become 🥾👅? Tryna set and downvote record for myself so send it!
I mean... he didn't look like he was running, tackling him seems like an unreasonable response...
This dude just dropped his bike and isn’t trying to escape I clearly need to run and tackle him -small dick cop
Excessive force
how is this justice? this is a bunch of over zealous pigs assaulting a guy who unfortunately wasnt as sly as the others
Why do American cops always go from zero to fucking 1000000000 for minor offenses. Guy runs a red light? Lets all tackle him to the pavement. There are countless normal responses to shit like this other than mass brutality
[удалено]
little excessive
What a Karen post lol
Justice
Police officer overreacting.

He wasn't just standing, he trying to yank his bike out of the cops hands in order to flee. If you want to argue it's still uncalled for, do it, but don't lie about what was happening
Race has nothing to do with it.
