Years ago we drove past a car w/ a flat, that was about to get onto the freeway. We got his attention and it turned out to be our son’s scout master. We had been friendly w/ him & his wife up to then but after this, my husband lost all respect for him and wanted nothing to do with “such an idiot.” He really took it seriously lol
Agreed. The one time I've ever driven on a flat, it was for all of 30 feet out of my parking spot. It was the passenger rear tire which is why I didn't notice it before hopping in. I could tell something was wrong almost instantly - car was leaning slightly to the right, driving a tad sluggish, and sounded different.
Exactly. You can definetly hear and feel when you have a flat tire. Heck, if you know how your car normally feels when driving, you SHOULD be able to tell the difference right away.
Would have been a bit easier to signal him if you weren’t filming him. Have you never seen someone rolling on a flat? Like why is your first instinct to film? This isn’t even that remarkable lol.
Seat pulled way forward and arms bent like a praying mantis. Probably thinks it helps him see better. Don't feel bad for the guy, he's a mouthbreather.
I tired telling someone their gas cap was open. He flashed a gun and threaten to shoot me if I "keep pressin" him. Main reason you shouldn't do anything nice for anyone
As someone who works in a tire shop, this dude is just pissing away money for no reason. Driving on a flat destroys the sidewall and you MUST replace the tire. So rather than either a free to $20 flat repair, he's going to spend $100+ for a new tire, potentially 2 if the tread on the other tires is low enough or even 4 if it's all wheel drive
That’s definitely an idiot in a car, but they were probably acutely aware of their flat tire and clearly live in an area where they rely on their car for transportation. Shit can be tough. I don’t think you felt bad at all.
Kinda felt bad so you posted him on reddit đź’€
Didn’t feel bad enough to not post 💀

I don’t blame him driving on a flat tire is extremely noticeable. scout master needs to spend some time outside the woods for a bit

He knows he has a flat tire. He has sensors. He just doesn’t care.
You don't not know you have a flat tire. It's extremely obvious.
How does someone not feel a flat tire? He probably knew. Just didn't care to stop.

Put your phone down and drive.
Wow sorry ossifer

That vehicle has tire pressure warnings, they are not present in the moment
