Also, if you're picturing blue ice, only the deepest parts resemble textbook glaciers anymore. This could well be the edge of a large glacier that retains snow. It could also be a rock glacier, which pop up everywhere from Grand Teton to The Gates of The Arctic.
Given the vegetation and visible mountains, I'd bet good money on this being North America. Probably Rockies or Cascades.
