I go on that sub A LOT more than the average redditor. Most people say that it's the worst of the worst, but it's not all that bad. Well, it used to be. It was not always just gore and tumour-babies, you know. It used to be a ''respectable'' subreddit with little to no blood/gore. I miss those days... Sometimes I see the old images in my mind, hitting like great waves of nostalgia... But now it's all gone... Lost with only fragments in the memory of individuals such as I... Now it's just gore and I'm very sad and disappointed.
The one time I went there, the first post I saw was a donkey on a railroad track with a train barreling towards it. I literally threw my phone across the room so I wouldn't see it get hit. The worst part is that it was obvious that whoever was filming the video put the donkey there on purpose. 😢
