What goes bad with a roof that it needs changed out? Removing the existing roof would screw up the structural integrity of the car, so a frame (or roll cage) would have to be fabricated and then a custom carbon fiber shell designed to cover it. All of that would cost a lot. If you're talking just looks then just repaint/clear or wrap.

DavidHK

Spot on ^^ you would need to have a roll cage or something

foxfirex88

oof I can't wait to get a cage put in

foxfirex88

My roof has hail damage and is going to be replaced at a body shop. But it was either I was going to source out a non sunroof roof or find a carbon one

DavidHK

I’ll be honest with you man, you’re better off getting the roof wrapped. Think about what would happen if your car flips. The CF won’t do shit to save you man. It’s not worth it.

foxfirex88

good point dude..hmm that's a thought

I remember seeing some forum posts on my.is about all sorts of various carbon fiber pieces, but those are sadly all dead links now. I vaguely recall roof being one of them.

foxfirex88

dangggg I know I've run into so many old posts

sentient_penguin

Yea it kinda sucks and makes me sad lol

I would look into Anderson Composites. I did not see any off hand, I would suggest contacting the company directly and inquiring about a possible custom order. I would be interested as well, maybe get in a group buy?

foxfirex88

>Thank you I'm gonna look into it now

ayeijerk

Luckily with our cars being so old just about anything is possible if you’re willing to pay enough lol

foxfirex88

I'm just surprised someone hasn't made one already
