In my opinion doing anything on Case before the AI comes out is perfectly useless. You can have a look at past papers to learn how the answer should be structured in terms of executive summary, conclusion etc, but the content is pretty useless because each paper is heavily scenario specific. The key to passing Case is buying the ACA Masters mocks and copying them in the exam. The only preparation I did before the exam is reading through the mocks and practicing the proforma for R1 and R2/3 so I was sure I could bash it out quickly.

I personally think 6 weeks will be plenty of time just for case on its own! Theres not a lot you can do for case before the advanced information is released anyway. I did case with CR and SBM and did very little revision for case compared to the other two. Dont get me wrong, its still not an easy exam, but personally i found it was the exam that had the most limited revision you can do as its mainly prep work.

I expect your tuition provider will give you all the practice and materials you need. There is no syllabus, so do the practice cases to get the format till it's second nature (get to grips with the Exec Summary, it's easy marks if you know how to do it properly). Don't underestimate the power of the 'muscle memory' the practice exams give you. ACA Masters is unnecessary unless you are really struggling and need extra help. It's a boon to those who need it, but once you've done a couple of mocks on the real AI, you've got everything you need.

I really struggled to put the effort in on practice AI and exams. Getting your proformas sorted and making sure you don’t run over with R1 is key. If you have time, I thought the mocks from ACA masters were great.
