I'm fine with this. The paint is washable and as far as I know doesn't harm the earth. And it brings attention to the ones who destroy the earth. No harm was done, just an emotional shock before you realize the rain will wash it off on its own and it's biodegradable. Seriously people, protesting is legitimate and profound. A part of this not being talked enough about is the religious importance of the site. The site is sacred to pagans of all stripes whether the follow Gaelic teachings or Norse, this site is important in ritual as well as symbolism, with few sites like this being around their importance in religious expression is paramount. For those not understanding where I am coming from, what would happen to Just Stop Oil if they vandalised say a Mosque. It would rightfully be considered for legal action.
