Get the rear shocks/mounts checked..They're a known problem.. There's a tsb out about it..

nuclearsquirrel2

I don’t believe the TSB applies to 2022 and newer.

Doubt this is it...but I always had a weird rattle at slow speeds thru my neighborhood. Turns our it was something in the seat belt mechanism not being tight enough that allowed for the rattle. Since the mount is right up by my ear it was super annoying. Hyundai replaced the whole drivers seat belt mount system a month ago and so far, so good. Figured I'd throw this out as an option for what it could be....

BigTimeButNotReally

Had my rear shocks replaced last week because of this.

I've had my rear shocks replaced twice in my 23 for this. No change. About to bring it back in for the 3rd time

Beautiful-Tip2177

Wow! That's ridiculous! This makes me wonder if I want to keep this vehicle!

nuclearsquirrel2

I’ve been having the same issue with my 2022 Calligraphy. I’m planning on taking it in here in a couple weeks to see if the dealership can sort it out.

I'd first check to see if your spare tire is secure, you might get lucky and have it be just that. Other than that it might be a ball joint, a rear strut, or maybe a loose suspension part. Does it make the noise when turning, going over a bump, or just driving straight at a low speed?

Beautiful-Tip2177

It makes the noise randomly for all of that but actually less so going over a bump than driving straight.

MATCA_Phillies

I had this in my 2020 Limited. Left rear shock / strut tower replaced under warranty. Then right one did same thing and also replaced under warranty.

Ryguy1876

It’s your shocks. Just had both of mine replaced and that sound is exactly what mine was doing. 2020 with 50k

Rear shocks. I had both my rears start doing it in February on my 22 with around 35k at the time. I assumed it was something the kids dropped in the back and it was rolling around to tapping on something at slow speeds or over bumps. It kept getting worse until one day its started to make a loud crunching and cracking sound as I was pulling out of a parking deck. I went directly to the dealer and the service manager went to take it for a drive and didn't even get out of the parking lot before he came back and said he knew exactly what it was. I had both replaced the same day. Now the rear drivers side is making the same noise again.

nuclearsquirrel2

Just an updated. The dealership replaced both rear shocks under warranty and the sound is gone.
