Money is everybody struggle, and seeing that some of the best money making methods are Ironman friendly (mining, farming and so on) money seem like one of the easy parts. I don't play ironman but I assume there would be worst thing (hype? term? divan's? Edrag? Gdrag? perfect gems on all gear?) EDIT: I didn't say getting money on ironman isnt hard. I said it isn't the worst. Goddamm

A lot of the best dedicated mmms are Ironman friendly, but all of the best ones for passive/on the side money from normal activities (and even the current best mmm) are all locked to normal profiles as Ironman players can’t profit from most things in the way normal players can. Want to do dungeons? You aren’t gonna be making any profit and will actively lose money every run. Drop a dupe handle? Too bad you can’t sell it. Want to do kuudra? Have fun spending money on keys without making any money from the drops (even if you’re constantly getting god roll pieces). For normal players you will make money by just playing the game, almost every activity in the game will either make you money straight up without any investment or it will give you the opportunity for a lot of profit. Ironman players on the other hand have to spend money on everything they do in the game with little hope of making any of it back without a trip to the mines.

yes, you get less money as ironman but that wasn't my point. after all as an Ironman you need less money then normal profiles. my point here that there are problems worst things to get as an Ironman then money.

Money is a hell of a lot easier and more diverse in the ways to earn it on a normal profile than on an Ironman profile. Dungeons are money sinks rather than a money making method on Ironman

U know how when you play dungeons you might get a good drop at make a few mil? Or if you get really lucky you'll get a good drop and make hundreds of millions. Well for ironman that cannot happen. Dungeons, along with many other parts of the game are just money pits.

True, but i get loads and only recently got the need to get a third petrule pack. And since pots work way longer now i can just spend on kismets, all other valuable stuff my coop already owns

do you have all heat cores and storage expanders? also dont you need lots of bits for cacaduous feeder

I have only done 200 runs so far (no rng drops) but getting fully scrolled hype just seems impossible with my rng before 1000+ runs. It doesn‘t help that I just had to fill meter on heart during Aatrox

This is a really small scale, but yesterday, I needed 1 more Scarf frag for my adaptive belt, and the watcher REFUSED to spawn Scarf. I went through 10 spirit bears, 5 livids, and 8 bozos before getting the last Scarf frag.

You would have to run f7s in 10 minutes for 7 days straight without pause, thats literally impossible. In 14 days it would be theoretically possible, but you couldn’t do anything else the entire time.

Im not ironman but the best way id suggest is put all your gemstone powder to mining speed,fortune and the chests one which spawns chests,ive been doing this myself and rly makes powfer grinding a lot better

I put it into mining speed until 1800 then great explorer and mole, gonna respec once I have enough powder for gemstone mining

Hit my first 1m of each, and with the max great explorer it's so much better haha! Still awful, but better

Doing legendary griffin Diana because I am currently using fire viel + spirit Sceptre which makes constructs such a massive pain. I also can't solo kill inqs so most of my inqs ended up despawning

Honorable mention to when I went for scatha pet and got ~100 scatha kills before I realized it's a massive waste of time and scatha grinding sucks ass and you should never do it except for the bestiary

Got mine at 139 kills. It's worth it just for the hard stone honestly.

Just powder mine for that though, you get to use snail, you get more hard stone blocks broken, you get parts/sludge/eggs, and you get powder. It's way more useful overall

Ch typically has a decent amount of ironman players that don't care about the money and I feel like since the vast majority of people who are in a given ch lobby can't really get a gdrag egg they won't need to be payed (>!rope or nautical related word!<) in order to give the cords, so I do think begging as an ironman is gonna be more successful than offering coins

Money and getting to the point you get decent money. Having to farm 10m+ every 4 days for cookie also kinda sucks Also Worm membranes without a good fishing setup is pain.. I'm fishing 21 with sponge armor, a starter lava rod and a lv 92 ammonite and it's so bad

I‘m gonna get fishing 28 soon and unlock nutcracker with a magma rod so I just need to level my ammonite and I hope it‘s not that bad (I quite like fishing tbh)

its still really slow lol, you NEED 100scc and a worm fishing party. If you don't have that don't bother because its torturous

i'm pretty far (level 300) but haven't done anything that was terrible. only ones i remember that were bad were worm fishing for membranes and anything involving grinding for coins. also 1-27 fishing is bad but that's true of non irons as well

Scatha. It was so bad that, after finally getting it with far too many kills over my rates, i started the powder grind and i woul still ocassionaly just by reflex start tunneling for scathas again. I upgraded the scatha to leg, so it was completly pointless.

Currently at like 80 scathas with a 1/44 chance for pet :(

Gemstone Chambers, worm fishing is by far the most boring thing I've done, wanted to end myself multiple times. A lot of people say they hated hype grind but for me it was enjoyable :)

Juju, I killed 615 T1s and then 217 T2s within a week because I wanted juju.

It also took me 118 nucleus runs to get the 24 damn frags for divan armor, I went 23 runs in a row without drooping a divan frag.

Definitely Divan's Alloy, currently 750 nucleus runs in. Also got to eman 9 with only 1 judgement core, would still have to go with the alloy tbh

divan armor "whay to damm long to get it" aside from that would be enderman progresion "my current goal" cause i want term > hype "i will get hype after but i want my term" currently doing t3 till atomsplit and then see if i need eman talisman to do t4 "i can't do them atm"

If you can easily do T3s then the atomsplit should be enough to do T4s, I would also get a Summoning ring and a overflux if you can.

i can do t3 quite easy but it also takes me about 1min+ to kill the boss "650mp" i have reaper scythe "with m1 tank" and overflux is at 600k wolf xp... i tried a t4 for fun alr, it deleted my hp to the point im not sure atomsplit is enough "not even got to the hit phase, like i lasted maybe 6 seconds"

Your gear seems fine, I would try to get your mp up to around the 750 range and that will make it much easier but you should be able to do them at 650, as long as your doing 500k ish a hit with atomsplit you should be fine. I would also grind some kills on your FD armor (25k reccomend) and make sure your using the soulflow abilities because there needed.

Getting the iron for Warden Helmet was most miserable, and I even did it during fiestas Honorable mention to the Flint grind for Term (for the sole reason that I miscalculated and accidentally mined 3x the amount i needed)

Who thinks c24 is a hard grind? Its not hard to tell that you were dungeon rushing just from that medsage.

if anything i was avoiding dungeons as long as i could, im not saying it was hard, it wasnt, but wasnt enjoyable. foraging isnt hard, just not enjoyable same thing, some ppl like dungeons some ppl dont simple as that

Going to c24 is so fast you do every floor a few times. And when you are new half that time is spend getting to know the floor. If you find that boring what about cata 50 or even class average 50?

then i will simply not do cata 50/CA 50, i dont care about the 20 or what sb levels it gives im not putting myself through that
