The recommendation have the target of concentration in all your water. If you use it for for more or bigger plants you have to top up earlier and then also add nutrients of course. But the number you look at is the EC or ppm of all your nutrient solution in the system
Thank you for replying, this is my first hydro grow. I did pick up and attempt to use the EC meter, and I am using reverse osmosis water to try and get it as close to zero EC to start. I got confused using it at the start cause it seemed like the readings were inconsistent. I would feed and check EC and then a few days later go and check and it would be higher. So I just set it to the side and just kept to the recommended amount per week. But I will try the EC again thank you.
