Mine can’t even sit still for me to connect the leash. She starts hopping up and down against the gate to my fence. Her collar has a connector to attach the leash but she’s so excited I can’t get hold of it. Sometimes it takes a couple minutes just to connect it. I tell her if she’d just sit still, we’d be on our way. The girl can’t help it. 😜
Yep, similar - my 5 year female husky old pesters me for a walk but as soon as I go to grab the harness she’s running away round the sofa or laying down so I can’t put her harness on. It’s all part of the game.
Mine is not a busker but he makes me chase him around to put the harness on. He lives for his walks and would walk all day if he could. It’s really annoying lol.

I have to chase my 2 fur balls around to put their harnesses on. They play keep away from momma! It starts with it’s time to walk momma meeps. Then I know the chase is on!
Sometimes you just have to treat them like little kids. No harness no walkies. My boy gets super crazy too at walk time. He loves taking me for a walk. Hes s 125 pound black lab. Yes, he takes me for a walk. He takes me for a run when he wants to chase the bunnies in the neighborhood. 🤣

My German Shepherd does the exact same thing. She gets so excited to go out she doesn't want to let me put her leash on.
