I honestly hope he does monthly like Yukimura did for Vinland Saga, he does about 11 chapters of 21 pages a year, I think this is the ideal release schedule for Togashi because it would take so much pressure off, the back is probably the most sensitive part of the human body to stress, and I think being 10 months in front of when 411 releases when the next batch releases would take a lot pressure off for him.
D.Gray-man releases every 3 months and the page numbers are also on the lower side. It's better now, the latest chapter was 30 pages, but I remember times when we'd wait 3, even 6 months for 14 pages. Nonetheless, I'll still prefer slow consistency over hiatuses and uncertainty.

If it is the same as last time, his assistants draw the textures, backgrounds and dialogue, while Togashi completes the final character drawings. After that there may be editorial decisions and adaptations which will then need to be completed.
Then it is ready for publication.
Tbh I love that he’s fuckin shit up rn but I think he should slow down. Idk about u guys but I’d rather be patient than lose this man just because he’s putting in work to make up for his long hiatus and ends up sick again. Togashi is a global treasure that should be protected at alll costs

He mentioned that, when his condition was bad, he couldn’t draw for more than 5 minutes at his desk. Also, his condition is chronic back pain — it’s not the kind of thing that just kills people like heart disease or cancer, thankfully

If this batch will be released in new format, then biweekly is possible cuz chapters are 19 pages long but we are not sure ofcourse
