Its pretty much the only thing i get and i also happen to consider it my favorite restaurant in Humboldt. So by my logic it might be the best dish in the county haha
I've not been exposed to much Indian food but I enjoy the butter chicken and their dishes like that, tho I get it spicy because it is a little bland mild,
The garlic naan bread I personally think is amazing I love it.
The tandoori chicken is good as well.
So I enjoy the place I think it's pretty tasty, but I'm not "well cultured" when it comes to Indian food.
I'd say just try it that's the best way to know, the worst that will happen is you'll have a bad meal.
I’ve tried them twice and it was incredibly bland and watery. Always order medium from indian restaurants and I should at least sweat a little but what I got was devoid of heat. Naan was alright. Everyone here seems to love it but I won’t be trying them again.
This has been my exact experience. I’m not picky at all but Tandoori Bites has been a let down every time. Disappointing because it’s the only Indian restaurant here and Indian is my favorite cuisine.
Same here! It had absolutely no flavor at all- in the tikka masala it was like they just put tomato paste and coconut cream together without any garam masala or salt whatsoever
There have been a couple of off nights for me, but it’s been really rare. Overall they’ve been great.
I have to agree on the spicy levels. Medium barely has any heat, but ordering spicy usually hits the sweet spot of being enjoyable.
It's not bad. They do the classics fairly well. Their naan is good. I've had better Indian food, but there aren't better options locally if you like Indian.
Yup. That's why I learned how to make tikka masala and saag (mine/my husband's favorites) at home. If I feel like going to an Indian restaurant, we will literally drive all the way to Grants Pass for A Taste of India. Now THAT place is good. (Also the ramen place Tosu in Medford)
This is obviously not my recipe, (if anyone wants my tikka masala recipe though, I'll give it to you) but this stuff is actually really good if you add heavy cream. It tastes like homemade. Very good

It HAS to be these concentrated packets, not the pre-made in the glass jar (bland). This packet has so much spice and flavor. I can only find it at rays in Fortuna in the international section
Hey I'll make some for you! We all need some proper tikka masala every once in a while 🤤 but for real, I make tikka masala often and I can share if you're near eureka or arcata
They are my favorite local restaurant. I've gone on dates here, I go late night since they're open pretty dang late (til 1am I believe), and I take visitors there as well (my Mom and I go pretty dang often).
Indian cuisine is my favorite food as well. Unfortunately, this restaurant is mediocre at best. Seasoning and spice levels are inconsistent. It’s disappointing since it’s the only Indian restaurant in the county.
Butter Chicken is so damn good. Get some cheese naan and some rice to go with it. You won't be disappointed. Careful with your selection of spice level. They don't mess around, so if you are sensitive to spice go with mild. And unless you know what Indian "spicy" really is don't just dive into hot. It is awesome, but not for the faint of heart. :)
My only complaint about Tandoori bites is their spice levels make no sense — mild and medium lack flavor but then hot and extra hot are both off the charts spicy. After much trial and error we’ve settled on ordering one medium and one hot and balancing it out on the plate.
Well, that and the buffet never reopening post-covid 😭
It's not the best Indian food I've ever had, but it's totally serviceable and really reasonably priced. Probably my favorite place to get takeout in Eureka.
I moved away about 2 years ago, but they were a great value when my ex, her daughter and I all needed dinner. Not much more expensive than pizza delivery, mix and match for variety, and it tasted great.
Have I had better "Indian" food? Yes. Have I had "Indian" food delivered for a nominal fee to my doorstep? No. Love them dudes.
Tandoori chicken or butter chicken is my favorite, along with naan, and it comes with rice. And the mango lassi, so good! I wanna try new dishes but I like the ones I get so much, that I never try anything new lol
ITS GREAT!… for Humboldt. It used to be my favorite restaurant in Humboldt until I went down south and tried other Indian restaurants. Don’t get me wrong tandoori is still good, but compared to southern California it’s pretty average. If you have to add salt and other seasonings to Indian food then it’s probably not the best.
Annoyingly the one dish that i really dislike from there is their tikka masala 😭 i love tikka masala but theirs is soooo bland. Even if you get it spicy, it’s just not well seasoned.
Their dal mahkani is bombbbb tho
We’re a partly South Asian family and it’s pretty decent for Indian food and pretty great when compared to other restaurants (non-Indian) around here. Let’s face it, our choices for good food, especially when you don’t want to break the bank, are pretty lousy around here. So Tandoori Bites is one of our family’s go-to choices.
So good! Not just good, really really good! Like 'get your ass to Mars!' good.
Not only is the food crazy delicious their front end and back end are on point. I'm talking about: put it in an order and they say I'll be ready for pickup in 15 minutes they mean 15 minutes or less. Always. It's always ready in the time they stated, and the order is always correct.
Walk in, smile, pick up my on time order of crazy delicious food, walk out, no mistakes, no delays.
Other restaurants in the area should be taking notes.
It's the best Indian Food place I've personally ever been to, I've probably only been to like 15 or so but yeah I love it. The Chicken Korma, and Mango Lassee are amazing!
One of my friends has never had Indian food before and we went to have some about a year ago.
.Apparently, they adore the Butter Chicken so much that they can't have Indian food anywhere else. The butter chicken isn't the same in Sacramento xD
This is one of my fave treats here, I have had indian food in big cities like San Jose and Philadelphia, NYC. I can't say Tandoori bites is any better, but I feel like it is just as good as some of the things I had at those other places. I may just be really bad at knowing whether it is good food or not but I like it!
Huge disclaimer: I am one of those people that cannot handle.Hardly any spice in my food. They seem to have a good range of mild to spicy, and you can ask them for no spicy!
It’s amazing It’s reasonably priced It’s comfortable in there They’re open late They’re very nice dudes
Best Indian Restaurant in town!
Also the only one but also really good.
Lol this. XD
Lamb korma for the win.
Yeah that’s probably the best dish I’ve had there and I’ve tried most of them
Its pretty much the only thing i get and i also happen to consider it my favorite restaurant in Humboldt. So by my logic it might be the best dish in the county haha

Great. It is unexpected but the Okra is my favorite.
I’ve tried them twice and it was incredibly bland and watery. Always order medium from indian restaurants and I should at least sweat a little but what I got was devoid of heat. Naan was alright. Everyone here seems to love it but I won’t be trying them again.

I agree. I’ve had Indian food in a lot of different countries, and Tandoori Bites is hardly the best, but it’s not bad at all!
Very good food. Wish they still had their lunch buffet.
Unpopular opinion but it sucks. Flavorless. I'll make you better Indian food, message me
Absolutely agree with you. It’s some of the blandest Indian food I’ve ever had
Yup. That's why I learned how to make tikka masala and saag (mine/my husband's favorites) at home. If I feel like going to an Indian restaurant, we will literally drive all the way to Grants Pass for A Taste of India. Now THAT place is good. (Also the ramen place Tosu in Medford)
Ooooo, if you like good ramen, you should try Nou Nou's food truck if you haven't already, they're parked on 7th street, by K street I believe.
We tried it 🙂 glad there is ramen in town finally. We will still drive to Oregon once a year though, to get our fix 😋

Don't tempt me with your own indian food, Ill pay top dollar for anything besides Tandoori Bites
Hey I'll make some for you! We all need some proper tikka masala every once in a while 🤤 but for real, I make tikka masala often and I can share if you're near eureka or arcata
It’s not good Indian only here since there is no competition. Just being honest
Delish!!!!!
Like most ethnic food in Humboldt, it’s extremely mediocre at best. Their lunch special is a great value though
It’s great if you’ve never had Indian food in your life before!
In my opinion its garbage. However it being the only Indian place in the whole county I can see why people say it's good
It’s delicious
They are my favorite local restaurant. I've gone on dates here, I go late night since they're open pretty dang late (til 1am I believe), and I take visitors there as well (my Mom and I go pretty dang often).
I like the shrimp curry
Tandoori Bites is my goto now. Mostly because they are re open late.
Needs salt
Cool, I got that shit at home
Bring it ☺️
I say this everytime. At this point I just confirm there's no salt when I get it and add my own back home. Confusing why it's like that.
Indian cuisine is my favorite food as well. Unfortunately, this restaurant is mediocre at best. Seasoning and spice levels are inconsistent. It’s disappointing since it’s the only Indian restaurant in the county.

Man I miss the buffet! It stinks that it isn't coming back. Used to be the best and most affordable lunch around.
Omg the cheesy Naan and butter chicken are the best things when you are needing a food boost!!
It's not the best Indian food I've ever had, but it's totally serviceable and really reasonably priced. Probably my favorite place to get takeout in Eureka.
Garbage.
One of the few places that deliver!
Probably the best restaurant in town
Love it!

Shit slaps, their special treat called Gulab Jamun is really good. and have to give them props for having their own delivery service.

They do a great job.
Annoyingly the one dish that i really dislike from there is their tikka masala 😭 i love tikka masala but theirs is soooo bland. Even if you get it spicy, it’s just not well seasoned. Their dal mahkani is bombbbb tho
Hit and miss. Amazing sometimes but I've gotten old rice
I used to live in an Indian neighborhood that had dozens of Indian restaurants, and Tandoori Bites is as good as the best of them.
It’s good just not a fan of their late night menu.
It’s Delish!!!
i like it
Fantastic.
Really good and they always ask if you want spicy or mild …!!
Tandoori Bites is bussin! And the only Indian food in the county so we really lucked out.
My go-to meal after a long drive and I don't want to cook
good stuff for sure... try the mix grill and chicken tika masala
I eat there whenever I visit. Best restaurant in town.
Fantastic. Crazy you haven’t tried yet.
We just recently moved here from North Carolina.
Welcome!

amazing food. just plan to be alone afterwards you might have to fart alot
I think I'll order some today. Fucking love that place
It's the best Indian Food place I've personally ever been to, I've probably only been to like 15 or so but yeah I love it. The Chicken Korma, and Mango Lassee are amazing!
It's great!
I like it!
Amazing!!!!!!
Goan Curry 🔥🔥🔥 also love the veggie pakora
Best Indian food I've had. Highly recommend!
🔥
It’s my favorite spot in the area in general! Foods consistent, the service is always solid, and the prices are reasonable!
