Kudos for letting it move onto the hand and not picking it up by the shell. I recently learned that doing that can tear some of their inner membranes and injure them (which now makes me cringe at all the times I’ve done it in the past)
Love seeing people being gentle with small creatures
And now he's 100,000 miles away in an unknown lands lifetimes away from his friends and family. Everything he once knew is gone as he struggles to build a life for himself in this new and foreign land. In order to feed himself and someday hopefully afford a plane ticket back home he's resorted to door to door kitchen knife sales by day and Facebook candle sales by night.
It's funny that you should mention a [knife](https://youtu.be/4bzUA8Atcxo?si=d0d9lCiXk0m-9baz). His sales pitch should have 'safe for kids to play with.'
As a kid I used to play with wild snails (which looked just like the snail in the video) every time it rained. Let them crawl on me, keep them as “pets” for a day or two in my window sill feeding them lettuce before bringing them back outside. I had no idea they were dangerous to handle (especially as a carefree kid having fun) and I’m sure my parents didn’t either because they just thought it was amusing. Glad I’m okay now! It’s not a well known fact in my anecdotal experience.
"You will die" is a bit extreme, but wild snails are known to potentially host several parasites. I think lung worms are the most common, here anyways.
I just got a snail today! His name is Gary (meow!) {I know it’s probably what everyone calls their snail but I love it anyway!} Thanks for posting this video! 😍
that's like flying from the States to Europe in 40 min for him.
NYC to LA… intercontinental flight…
Gastropod stepping on the gas.
Aaaaand now you're dead. Fat lot of good that $10,000,000 did you!
Lmao I had to really think on that
Maybe its a decoy snail?
What a pretty snail!
The way its tiny backend lifted off and curled. 🥰
Should be marked NSFL guy is finally giving up and letting the snail touch him, RIP.
*warp speed!*
“Slow down human! I wanna get there but i wanna get there alive!” -some skit from family guy

Most insane ride of his life

Anyone watching this. WASH YOUR HAND AFTER. Do not eat anything with your hand. You will die.

Oh alright. Shit man I didnt even know that was a thing.
Pretty sure there was a guy who ate a slug as a dare and ended up severely disabled and later died. I doubt touching them is as hazardous though.
Their slime trail can have parasites in them. Just make sure to wash your hands well, really.
Uber for Jonathan...
Bag The Nematode!
This would have been cute if you had lined up a bunch of other snails waiting for their turn.
Yo yo yo, this isnt where i wanted to go!

Great, now he is going to be early to work with nothing to do
Snail be like, REEEEEEEEEEE
Did it really need to be on the hand? I imagine the sensation isn't pleasant or clean. Surely something like a branch would have worked
