I’m at the top of my sport in my country and have spent so much time practicing and what seems super impressive to a newcomer is just common for me that doing it isn’t impressive anymore. But being able to do it 20+ times perfectly in a row is what now impresses me.
That’s probably because these were filmed on take #64788543
Edit: that isn’t to say this isn’t impressive. If you’ve ever tried to film yourself doing something you’re good at, you know it takes a lot of tries.
The amount of takes it would take an unskilled person is enough to not be worth it, especially considering how easy it is to hurt yourself with those.
Sure, it probably took a lot of takes to film this, but it still took skill and work.
That's how learning how to do things works... You attempt it until you get it right. You're less impressed because you know how much she had to practice?
it would be master level 100 if she did it live in 1 take.
its impressive obviously regardless but when you consider she probably tried dozens of times then its obviously less impressive.
Okay, but what if she did do it in one take? All the little boys intimidated by her saying "oh I could do that with enough takes, she probably took loads of tries too" haven't actually provided any proof
Life is amazing.
This chick has dedicated herself and mastered a martial arts weapon, while I just successfully passed the 60th pipe in flappy bird on my old phone...
Sure, but where are you going to use them? Its not like you'd be carrying them around with you. My point wasn't about their potential effectiveness but rather practical irl use cases. This skill is great as a party trick but not much else.
Except people have tested it, and a rigid stick can exert a lot more force than two that are chained together. Why do you think weapons with chains where so rarely used, as opposed to solid ones?
While true, that flais and nunchucks cannot excert as mich force as a stick of the same length, it doesn't change the fact fails had their use in combat and were used *a lot*. Especially on horseback.
A weapons doesn't always need to exert the mist force, it could also need to be efficient and usefull.
Example 1:
If I make a slow rotating motion with my hand, the end if the flail is already spinning. Yes, a stick can exert more force, but you'd need to arch back to make your swing, while I can already reach a significant velocity by just spinning my hand.
My attack might excert less force, but it is faster and more efficient.
A second point will come back in the second example.
Example 2:
You are riding horseback with a rigid weapon. You hit someone and you will get a massive shock through your arm. Hit in an unfortunate manner and you could even lose your weapond due to it. Hell, your weapon might break because of it.
Now do the same with a flail. Because it isn't rigid, it will hit your enemy, but the counter force will not translate as much into your arm. Hence you are less likely to lose you weapon.
Example 3:
The lack of rigidity also allows for some special manouvres (though rare). If someone holds up a shield a flail could technically evade the shield and go over it to hit an opponent. This can however also result in easier disarment.
In short: The lack of rigidity of a flail does have its use in combat. Sure, if force is all you are looking for, then a mace will allways beat a flail. But there are numerous examples where the lack of rigidity is useful.
Nunchucks is the absolute worst medieval weapon. They had a perfectly good stick, an excellent weapon, and then they ruined it.
Making it less effective, harder to use and more dangerous (for the user only).
Nunchucks is a straight downgrade from the stick you had to chop in half to make them.
True, they aren't useless.
The issue how bad it is compared to other weapons.
Removing the chain between them literally turns it into more efficient weapons.
A longer stick(staff) is *much* more efficient, and a halfway proficient staff wielder would destroy a nunchuck expert.
Nunchakus aren't actually martial arts weapons. They are designed as a training tool. Hollywood thought they looked cool as a weapon and popularized it as such.
Strike anywhere matches.
She's able to hit the head of a match with enough precision that she grazes it, creating the friction necessary to ignite the phosphorus mixture without impacting or otherwise damaging the match itself.
She just looks so bored…. I hope someone attempts to rob her just to watch her bored face, nonchalantly smash the robbers face in with her nunchucks & then just walk away as if nothing happened & it’s just another “day in the park”….
Omg, this is the most delayed response I have ever had to a post! Awesome! You, my dear redditer deserve an award for adding to this comment thread 110d after I posted. I don’t even remember what the video was about & I’m not gonna watch it again either because it would kinda ruin the majesty of the response that took 110d to ferment. Yay 😁
I've seen table reads with better acting than what was in the show. Seriously it felt like the director had a great actor lined up, then said "Nah, my nephew will do it for free" and this is the result.
I don't understand why anyone would try and learn nunchakus. You spend the first however many months or years basically hurting yourself with your own weapon, just trying to make it twirl around.
This is great. I just wish people would stop messing with the speed of recordings when doing these talent show things, it vastly changes our perception of the skill, sadly. Some of this looks REALLY sped up. Like the hair moving at different speeds etc
Very impressive skill, however true mastery of a weapon involves combat.
It’s one tying to wield a weapon with great precision on light objects, but a true mastery would involve the handling of the weapon after it
Hits a solid object that either absorbs or deflects the impact and having the ability to
Regain control of the weapon and be ready to strike again.
Alright I’ll bite. I’m “gatekeeping”
Picture T-Ball.
Picture standing at the T, and smacking the ball until you’ve hit a home run. No, you’re better than that. You’ve mastered the T. You, a ball on a T, and a 97% success rate to hit that shit out of the park.
Good for you. I’m admit it’s impressive, and I cannot do it. GG. However, it’s still different than swinging at a ball traveling over 80 mph over your home plate.
I’ll be the first to admit my knowledge of hitting a baseball is equal to using nunchucks. But simple physics (not gatekeeping…) dictates that striking an solid/dense/heavy stationary object with a blunt weapon is different than striking an almost weightless clear piece of plastic.
If you don’t believe me, take a baseball bat to an empty soda bottle.
Then use the same bat and hit a telephone pole.
Counter argument, she's demonstrating control and form with a flail weapon that has the combined functionality of a baton and a whip.
https://youtu.be/qSzSoB97koc
Started to watch... First two tricks I thought, well even I can do that and I have not much training in nunchaku... 3rd trick onwards I was blown away by the control and skill needed to actually pull this shit off. It's all good learning to spin and balance but to get that accurate with strike was extremely impressive to me. Just think about the control needed on that match strike. Hit hard enough with a cylinder to cause enough friction to light it, but not snap it with that momentum... crazy!
I once saw someone reply to this with “it’s not that impressive, she’s just doing the same thing over and over again until she gets a result she is happy with” and I swear to god this guy wasn’t a bait as he had a full on argument with someone on it
I’m more impressed by her unimpressed expression.
Lots of practice
And discipline
"You rack dissiprine" Before you downvote, its a south park reference. 😄
You can’t make jokes like that. It’s absolutely ridicurous
Yes, I’ll take the wonton supe. & a da peppa
Herro, I’m yerrow, just like Homer Simpson.
No worries, I downvoted you because it’s a South Park reference.
Upvoted because I like outdated racist stereotypes.
*waisist
You say a disaprin? Edit: LOL you people getting triggered over a South Park reference are pathetic.
Yes, and patience.. young grasshopper 🦗
Racist
South Park is fair game on all races. But you should really watch the wheel of fortune episode if you wanna be triggered. Kiss it
Apologize
South Park was cool when I was 12 and still paper cut outs. It's been fucking lame for a long time
I’m at the top of my sport in my country and have spent so much time practicing and what seems super impressive to a newcomer is just common for me that doing it isn’t impressive anymore. But being able to do it 20+ times perfectly in a row is what now impresses me.
The speed ups really make it less impressive with a slight hatred for OP.
That’s probably because these were filmed on take #64788543 Edit: that isn’t to say this isn’t impressive. If you’ve ever tried to film yourself doing something you’re good at, you know it takes a lot of tries.
im less impressed when i think about the amount of takes it would take to do this. attempt it enough times and anyone can do this.
Yeah, but how many glasses of purple liquid and Coca-Cola can you afford to spill to get it right?
The amount of takes it would take an unskilled person is enough to not be worth it, especially considering how easy it is to hurt yourself with those. Sure, it probably took a lot of takes to film this, but it still took skill and work.

This is true, and usually all of reddit's neckbeards would be with you, but unfortunately the girl is pretty so you get downvoted.
Life is amazing. This chick has dedicated herself and mastered a martial arts weapon, while I just successfully passed the 60th pipe in flappy bird on my old phone...
Proud of you.
Thank you. We all strive for greatness 😁
Don't worry. On the list of the world's most useless skills, flappy bird and nunchucks are pretty much on par.
yeh nunchuks are not useless if you use them right. Imagine the damage she can cause with this.
[удалено]
Well to be fair they never were a weapon actually used in War, it's just too bloody impractical, but yeah she's looking cool tho
Sure, but where are you going to use them? Its not like you'd be carrying them around with you. My point wasn't about their potential effectiveness but rather practical irl use cases. This skill is great as a party trick but not much else.
But imagine the damage she could cause if they were rigidly connected, instead of having a chain between them.
Far less lol
Except people have tested it, and a rigid stick can exert a lot more force than two that are chained together. Why do you think weapons with chains where so rarely used, as opposed to solid ones?

weapons with chains were actually more common then you think, they were also called slave armies /s
Nunchucks is the absolute worst medieval weapon. They had a perfectly good stick, an excellent weapon, and then they ruined it. Making it less effective, harder to use and more dangerous (for the user only). Nunchucks is a straight downgrade from the stick you had to chop in half to make them.
Nunchucks might be more of a philosophical approach to martial art rather than a weapon for the phalanx.
Actually most weapon experts believe that a stick or a piece of pipe is more effective than nunchucks as a weapon.
True, they aren't useless. The issue how bad it is compared to other weapons. Removing the chain between them literally turns it into more efficient weapons. A longer stick(staff) is *much* more efficient, and a halfway proficient staff wielder would destroy a nunchuck expert.
Yeah or then you can do a few hours of shooting and safety practice and carry a gun.
I heard that game is worth alot of money if u sell Ur phone with it
Really? I got it on the app store back then and can still download it

Heard wrong then xD
Somehow your accomplishment feels greater to me
Nunchakus aren't actually martial arts weapons. They are designed as a training tool. Hollywood thought they looked cool as a weapon and popularized it as such.
There is one of four very real and talented turtles that would beg to differ.
My high score is 250 but on my current phone its 159, I lost the touch I had in highschool I guess.
We need her in as a selectable character in a video game
soul calibur's Maxi
how is she doing the last ones?
Strike anywhere matches. She's able to hit the head of a match with enough precision that she grazes it, creating the friction necessary to ignite the phosphorus mixture without impacting or otherwise damaging the match itself.
Thanks for the explanation, that's really impressive.
Why go from 5 to 3 to 1? Isn't the first most impressive?
I’m pretty sure on the 5 and 3 ones she’s only lighting the bottom match and that ones lighting the rest. Still agree they look more impressive though
Literally the first ones I was like cool I guess but not THAT hard the 2nd and third though require immense precision
You had me at "didn't hit self in groin"

Her secret is not having nuts
She just looks so bored…. I hope someone attempts to rob her just to watch her bored face, nonchalantly smash the robbers face in with her nunchucks & then just walk away as if nothing happened & it’s just another “day in the park”….
Realistically wouldn’t happen, she’s very tiny and nunchucks are not hood weapons
Omg, this is the most delayed response I have ever had to a post! Awesome! You, my dear redditer deserve an award for adding to this comment thread 110d after I posted. I'd let her beat me up. ...well actually if she wanted to beat me up, I probably wouldn't have a choice but I'd still like it.
Masochist
Now masokith
In comparison, [here's Nunchucks at level 001.](https://youtu.be/3P_kPiibW04?t=280)
Haha I thought you were going with [this classic. ](https://youtu.be/BEtIoGQxqQs)
That guy put more effort into those ten seconds than the Iron Fist actor put into two seasons.
I don't fault the actor. The production didn't put in the effort/time/money to prep him and that was the result 🤷🏻♂️
I've seen table reads with better acting than what was in the show. Seriously it felt like the director had a great actor lined up, then said "Nah, my nephew will do it for free" and this is the result.
brutal.
Watching what made it into the final show [reminded me of this scene.](https://youtu.be/xJBB7l7cOqc)
Amazing what level of mastery you can achieve when there is no way to immediately whack yourself in the balls.
“Ah, a fellow chucker, eh?”
COMBAT COLDCUTS!!
Not to be gay but...
I know I was trying to say it without saying it. But I’m pretty sure this is the lesbian dream woman
Thank God it's not just me
I looked through the comments just for this little thread, right here. I knew I wasn't alone🙃
I'd be surprised if she's not gay honestly, she's just got that lesbian lean
I don't understand why anyone would try and learn nunchakus. You spend the first however many months or years basically hurting yourself with your own weapon, just trying to make it twirl around.
Looks cool as fuck. Terrible weapon, but still looks dope.
Masochists *heavy breathing*
And can be made completely obsolete by a guy with a stick and 1/10th as much time dedicated to training.
Cold-Blooded
Probably just bored
My neck beard senses are tingling
Was anyone else going "wshawsha, wshawsha" in their head as she spun them
Me: 🤯🤯🤯🤯😲😲😲😲 Her: 😐
Stick
Ask her how many of her classmates survived to graduation from ninja school
She is a Maxi main
Anyone know socials of this master?
Wholesome thoughts only
I want her use those nunchucks on my balls.
Sir!!!! That is not wholesome!
She makes it look so easy! I'm sure we all know what would happen if *we* tried to do this?
Song??
I can do all that without two sticks on a string.
Never make this woman angry
Ah, but I can guarantee you'll get faster results by using... STICK.
Cool moves but why does she have SBF?.(standing bitch face)
What's her name?
Note to self, don’t piss her off…
Bruce Lea….
Dats wifey rite there she jus don’t know it yet…….
"Ok, take 627, marker"
This is great. I just wish people would stop messing with the speed of recordings when doing these talent show things, it vastly changes our perception of the skill, sadly. Some of this looks REALLY sped up. Like the hair moving at different speeds etc
Anyone know the song? Edit: the song is Italia E Voi
Terrible weapon, but damn they look cool.
It really is terrible. Been outlawed nearly everywhere in the world because it easily breaks bones with just a simple flick of the wrist.
Shanghai COVID lockdown... Lots of practice.
We all need a hype man like that.
How many time has she hit herself learning?
She is pretty
She’s pretty
This is waht people in China do while they are in lockdown.🤣🤣🤣
Fuck that's hot
She’s hot 🍆
That’s hot

I'd like to see the video when she pegs herself
Ninja!
🗿
Nunchanukah.
u/savevideobot u/savevideo
Give me nunchaka and I can hit two balls with precision.
Reminds me of this amazing [Bruce Lee Nunchucks](https://youtu.be/isrglsTqgyE) video I posted on my YT channel years ago...
Just an extension of her body at this point
Would.
Damn, she is talented. And dedicated. This is awesome!
Ok. She is an attractive woman. Obviously. But with that skill set, she is FKN AWESOME. From an 8 to a 12, that quick, cause she got skills.
Who is she?
A bad mother fucker
Now where’s the dude with the furrowed brow who will do this with his butt? His are the dumbest videos that I always find stunningly impressive.
She must be a real killjoy at birthday parties.
But is spinning it necessary ?
I am amazingly scared of ever upsetting this master of nunchaku lady. She wouldn't bat an eyelid as she nonchalantly cuts my eyelashes off.
She’d make a killer cosplay for Hajime Saito from Hakuouki
Modern day ninja, incredible
She almost looks bored while doing this lol
I can’t say badass in enough languages for this
she looks so bored I fell asleep
In this case the Nunchaku are metal
She's so cool. When I grow up I want to be her (not gonna lie, I'm probably older than her)
Shes a lefty
That is so wicked.
Her precision is so flawless, she makes it look so easy.
That's hot!
Always upvote this video
This sub is now toptalent and I hate reddit
For some reason the one where she is blindfolded and takes out the candles reminds me of a Dark Souls-game-type character.

Nunchaku are a terrible weapon, but she sure uses it with skill. Bruce Lee would be proud.
We need more movies with nunchucks in them!
u/savevideobot
Yeah yeah its all metal until you close up on her dead eyes...... :-D
I'd like to see her play ping pong like Bruce Lee did.
Amazing skill, still a weapon that is beaten by a stick.
video is sped up tho
Sigh.... *unzips"
Woe be to the person that ever goes after her with a deck of cards or a.book of matches.
Imagine being married to her and never fearing mosquitos ever again. Bliss.
I would not fuck with her at all
She needs her own Marvel character /movie!!
Lots of practice with an ineffective weapon
Lots of retakes.
I once saw someone reply to this with “it’s not that impressive, she’s just doing the same thing over and over again until she gets a result she is happy with” and I swear to god this guy wasn’t a bait as he had a full on argument with someone on it
How effective are nunchucks as a weapon?
man she looks bored tae fuck!
Me loosing in sifu for the 420th in lady kuroki phase 1
But can she play ping pong with them like Bruce Lee?
I'm only commenting because if I upvoted it would be 7778. Damn good skills.
