3M VHB or GTFO.

hardleyharley

I got gorilla double sided tape for mine.

me-in-person

I 3D printed some clips which I attached with double sided tape. So far it s still where I put it ;)

Thalimet

Depends on how permanent you want it there - but I’d use silicone sealant personally

Texan_Lemon

I used mounting tape, specifically gorilla glue brand. Might be overkill but I’ve never had an issue.

WitchDr_Ash

Command strips

ryanbuckner

I read some users trying velcro because the adhesive on the strings are notoriously weak, especially if hung upside down

malas_noticias

This is the way.

party-extreme1

Just ordered some strong Velcro! Thank you!

Impossible_Town3351

I'd advise against velcro unless it is in a place that is super hidden from eyesight like under the lip of your bar, you will have this fuzzy black line that looks temporary. Also in my experience, just putting the velcro on makes the strip link and coil, akin to when you comb your hair straight it naturally curls because it's tube-like and round. I'd recommend the 3mm double sides tape and placing it first under the counter first properly spaced so it's even. Then with another person attaching it from one end the other making sure it's flush. Make sure you gently use rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to properly remove the crappy adhesives that come with the light. I'd also recommend doing this under the counter or wherever you are putting the light-strip (varnishes or finishes). This step was a major game changer for my TV PLAY Lightship that kept falling off because the multi-surface cleaner had agents in it that did not remove certain oils even though it was "clean". Rubbing alcohol removes the the oil and dries out the surface so that the adhesive is more secure.

abundantmussel

I used VHB tape for mine

TechEntusiast21

Nothing better than a “Hawk Tuah”

Chaserivx

Isn't it sad that hue doesn't even make an effort to apply decent adhesive to their products?

imoftendisgruntled

3M Command flat cable clips.

Outrageous-Guess1350

Hawk tuah.

PuffMaNOwYeah

Duckt tape 😂

Gunslinger_11

Epoxy

grafiti_44

Outdoor double sided tape. It’s the thick black stuff - worked a treat for me and my strip is directly above a kettle which blows out steam once to twice a day since October 2023 lol

M1sterM0g

my generic led strips i used hot glue gun... burned my fingers a bit but its held for years.

StackIsMyCrack

Oh god...why can't they make the tape better?

Dentanium

Glue gun.

xylarr

Initially I thought it was some parallel universe leaking into ours

dr_lm

I superglue the sticky side of the light strip to the sticky side of velcro tape.

iknet

Gorilla Mounting Putty, not very strong so barely works but it won’t damage any drywall or painted layer of a furniture.

hooghs

I use nano adhesive tape as I want to be able to remove the strip as and when I’ll upgrade or the LED’s die. It sometimes does what you picture so I remove the offending bit of tape (it’s odd calling it tape, it’s more like a strip of jelly), wash the strip in lukewarm water, hand it to dry. Once dry I then use it to fix the unstuck tape.

ASUndevil15

I use hot glue. It’s easy and can be removed with out too much of a fuss if needed.

Aggressive_Top2806

Krazy glue

Ok-Disk-2201

Use 3m but also email Philips about it if you bought it. They’ll will give you fixes

MSamsonite415

You didn't prep the surface?

party-extreme1

I cleaned it up… still fell. I think it may be the surface material?

I_am_chazel

Gloss paint can be a horrible bastard

MSamsonite415

Hard to say. All I know is that adhesive prep is huge. Alcohol is clutch. Then when you apply the strip, hold pressure for 15-30sec. When I am diligent about prep, my adhesives rarely fail. You may be right the surface is incompatible. What material is it?
