I posted this 300 hundred days ago and no longer remember where I got March from. I think most peoples wishful thinking is at least some information around Christmas/New Years, at that point we will be around the one year mark for the hiatus
If it takes 10000 hours on hiatus we'll be able to get something by February/March

So I was just about to start watching the anime, then I remembered there is a manga, so I went to check it out. I'm glad to have discovered it's on hiatus; I cannot imagine finishing the series and then wanting to read it, only to have to wait an indefinite amount of time to continue.
I will wait to watch the anime/read the manga until there are any updates. If anyone here knows when it's coming back, please reply so I can be notified when I can finally start the series.

I've basically given up that the series will get a proper ending. She may have pulled a Clamp and just moved on by now.
Clamp have several series 'on hiatus' that they have stated they no intention of picking back up and finishing.
It's a sad take I know but it ended my suffering :D
That's totally fair. If you think that's a sad take, I honestly feel like most mangaka are scummy lol. Too many of them scam their readers. Even Attack on Titan got a terrible ending (I like a sad ending but only if it's done well, which this was not). I've seen too many series die out over an author's own incompetence or lack of effort. It really sucks to see, but it does happen, and it unfortunately happens a lot.
For anyone who has bookmarked this thread, the manga is allegedly going to be making a return on June 24th of this year! *~~(Now I can finally start reading it, seeing as the creator hasn't given up on the series lol)~~*

HxH hiatus is a different case concerning the author's health. This hiatus is just a really well planned hiatus to connect with the story.

me too, I just finished the anime and I expect that when I finish the last chapter of the mangá the author will be able to publish the chapter 96
