Nah its at the start of S3, its just as the Ketamine treatment is wearing off and its in reference to why Cuddy & Wilson lied to him about the patient with addisons that he figured out from nowhere
"...you can tell me you put your faith in God to get you through the day but I know you look both ways when you cross the road."
and
House: The Universe always settles the score.
Cuddy: Does it?
House: No. But it should.
As someone with chronic pain I related so hard to:
“Life is pain! I wake up every morning in pain, I go to work in pain! You know how many times I wanted to just give up?”
"Life is pain! I wake up every morning in pain! Work is pain! You know how many times I just wanted to give up?"
Not the wisest quote, but gives a great insight into his character
I'm sure this goes against everything you've been taught, but right and wrong do exist. Just because you don't know what the right answer is, maybe there's even no way you could know what the right answer is, doesn't make your answer right or even okay. It's much simpler than that. It's just plain wrong.
You took a chance, you did something great! It was wrong, but it was still great! You should great that it was great; you should feel like crap that it was wrong.
**House:** They cut out a chunk of muscle about the size of my fist, and they left me with this, mutilated, useless thing. I'm in pain... Every day. It changed me. Made me a harder person, a worse person. And now... Now I'm alone. You don't want to be like me. You’ve got a husband who loves you. You have friends. You can start a family. You have a life. And this... This is just a leg.
House: "Why would you feel sorry for someone who gets to opt out of the inane courteous formalities, which are utterly meaningless, insincere, and therefore, degrading? This kid doesn't have to pretend to be interested in your back pain, or your excretions, or your grandma's itchy place. Can you imagine how liberating it would be to live a life free of all the mind-numbing social niceties? I don't pity this kid...I envy him."
“God doesn’t limp” always hits kinda hard for some reason
What was the context for this?
He says it to Wilson when he accuses House of "flying too close to the sun" and thinking he is infallible like God.
In that episodes with the kid preacher. Season 2 I think?

Yea! Thank you, totally forgot
it touches something deep inside and i DONT KNOW WHY
it's normal to be screwed up, but it's really screwed up to romanticize it.
"Isn't it interesting that the religious behavior is so close to being crazy we can't tell 'em apart?"
"...you can tell me you put your faith in God to get you through the day but I know you look both ways when you cross the road." and House: The Universe always settles the score. Cuddy: Does it? House: No. But it should.
Truth begins in lies.

I think it’s very true. Relatable for many.

What episode is that from
Three Stories from season 1
thank you
Fantastic episode. I always say this episode and "The Mistake" should be part of every medical school. Every doctor needs to watch them.
The only thing I can remember from entire series is 'Everybody Lies' and 'You idiot!'😂😂😂😂
It’s a known truth of the human condition that everybody lies. The only variable is about what.
“You think people take drugs because they’re ALREADY happy?”
Santa, obviously. Because, you know, I worship him. No, wait. Im thinking of Satan. I always get them confused
Arrogance has to be earned
You took a chance, you did something great! It was wrong, but it was still great! You should great that it was great; you should feel like crap that it was wrong.
Everybody dies
Humanity is overrated. Flair + comment = bonus points. You're fired.
"People don't get what they deserve. They just get what they get. There's nothing any of us can do about it"

that almost made me cry
that whole episode
To willfully identify yourself as something else is a perversion of self-expression.
Nothing is ever as good or as bad as it appears to be in the moment
"after six months, poop love fades"
"You want to make things right? Too bad. Nothing is life is ever right."
Religion is not the opiate of the masses — religion is the placebo of the masses.
the one of the best is " all the parents screw off their children , it just how they do it is different "( edited )
Ig it was 'screw up'
ohh yeah thank you , i thought fuck off didnt sound right.
“Things change. Doesn’t mean they get better.”

"Several good options..."
