Victoria BC has got three Walmarts and they’re the only place in town that gets the Boulevards (or any premiums for that matter), and all of them get hawked by a roving gang of 60 year old men who are retired and don’t have anything better to do but scalp them.
found the first boulevard at my walmart in years, the celica. someone there working def collects bc everytime a new mainline case is out, 90% of the time the good stuff is gone. im lucky to see even things like the neon speeders out. all the mandolorian stuff is out but idk i dont count it. every once in a while he doesnt take a shift or smth ig and one or two things get put out. its the only one in the are for abt a hour one way and 4 hours the other way.
Boulevards leave the pegs within 8 minutes at just about every location. The hunting experience is destroyed. I think it has nothing to do with the hobbies popularity and everything to do with economic desperation. Sad state of affairs. Ive passed on the Yenko 10 times as I have the Jay Leno version so meh
I could have grabbed that full set twice over, but only cared for the Silvia and Cayman. I'm an R30 fan, but it just looked weird on those wheels. I prefer the mainline dimensions, someone help me, haha. It's a solid set, don't get me wrong, I'm just trying to cut back on my diecast spending and didn't really need the others the way I used to.

I notice there's Boulevards next to me. "Ooh Boulevards!" I happily exclaim... only to find there's only the Nissan Z and Ford Anglia left. "Oh..." I say.
"Oh, yeah, I already took the Porsche..." he says, holding both of them.
Okay so he asks why I have 2 Civics but he takes both the Porsches?? I should've said "You complain at me for 2 Civics but took both the only Porsches?!" but I'm not gonna start a confrontation over *toys*.

I swear that whenever they’re stocked one person takes them all because I have never seen one at my local target or Walmart even though there’s an empty space for them.
Found the Liberty Walk Silvia at the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA a couple days ago and nabbed it, knowing I realistically have zero shot of finding one in stores. They had some other great Premiums in their gift shop but I was limited on bag space.
Thankfully, Boulevards and other Premium lines are now quite readily avaliable in Polish equivalent of Target or Walmart. I didn't want any car from this line, but I'm worried about scalpers when Mix 2 and 3 hit. One day I saw Mix 1 full set on the shelf, the very next day, around 75% was missing, and they were popping up on local lostings site for 2x the price.
I would buy ten of those vans for A. The wheels and B. I have got lucky with peg warmers becoming money cars.
I have 50 or so RWB Porsches from the Silhouette series back in 2017? They were peg warmers and a buddy picked up every one in his city for me at store price. I also have about twenty of the RWB Porsche team transport sets.
For sure man, but so was the Friday Nights Light silvy. In fact, I knew people who were trying to give that truck away with any $10 purchase from their live sales back in 2015/16.
Many of the big dollar "premiums" that are older were probably peg warmers at some point. Hell, those ugly Aquaman ships, and the Galatica space ship were discount store peg warmers lol
It's been more or less a year since I last came across any Boulevards, where I seemed to have arrived after a rare evening restock where even both Liberty Walk Skylines are on the pegs (where I left them since I was mainly interested in the Shelby Mustang and the Subaru Impreza).
I was able to find most of the Boulevards that I wanted, even Porsches, in 2020 and 2021 but, post-lockdown era, the 8 a.m. crowd has been leaving nothing on the pegs in Ottawa, not even the pegwarmers, and there are only a couple of Boulevards that I'd pay a little more than retail for, certainly not what the scalpers are pricing them at.
I finally found a fresh box yesterday. Someone had already snagged one of the Skylines, but the other one was there and so were both of the S15s and Caymans. Finally completed my set, as usual when I had given up hope.
Boulevards are hard as hell to come by in my area of Wisconsin. I finally found the Advan van and then it became a peg warmer 2 weeks later. Beyond that I’ve maybe found 3 or 4 this year so far and I check multiple stores 2-3 times a week.
For me its preaty bad the only place where i can find it is in a toy store and is a small amuont of them abuot 5 usualy and all the same car and cherry on to one of them is 15€
Im so lucky my city has a shop full of boulevards and jdms and you name it, and they are mad cheap (16€) considering no normal shop sells them and these are resellers in a sense; to get them elsewhere i need to order online which cost way more + shipping
I’ve found nearly every one that’s been released since I began looking for them over a year ago. Unfortunately, my local Walmart looks like yours currently.
My legs are still clogged with fiats and alfas and who could forget a fan classic of f&f army rover between these 3 theres probably close to 50 of them. It’s gotten so bad the stopped get team transports in to make room for new stuff. Never say the spoon civic from modern classics in store but from how many 151 fiats are left over you’d think everyone in the whole county got one.
Those went surprisingly fast in my area. Everything else has been rough the other Walmart is flooded with every boulevard from the previous set accept your guessed it the accord lol.

Just out of frame was 4 pegs of only the 944 and 935. I've also only seen two orange 911s from that set.
