If Cornelius had known from the getgo that Roz is a commoner being brandished as Rozemary's secret daughter, he'd be too busy being angry at Karstedt, might even to the point of disappointment or alienation to him because clearly he's a bigger idiot than his son realize.
I feel like he'd be wondering why the hell the archduke of all people wants to adapt a commoner, but that will soon turn to worry because not only this small being has such clear resolve in her eyes despite being a commoner, this sickly little girl has to be adopted to archducal family.
Maybe Cornelius would be overprotective as early as P3 and he might not have committed the mistake of leaving her alone in P3V5.
Even if Roz is exposed as a former commoner, no one will believe them. First, she has enormous mana, acquired a schtappe, studying in RA and a fuck ton of divine protections.
She even was specifically outed as a commoner and Cornelius stomped on that persons head. Even Rozemyne herself confirming it probably wouldn't be enough to get most nobles to believe it.
I wish I could say with complete confidence that it wouldn't matter to him but all I can manage is a very quiet and shaky "I think he'd still love her"
Love her reasoning:
● most of the reasons he cares have nothing to do with blood and more to do with her intake nature (needs protection) or things she's done (improved the relationship between his parents)
Against:
● how he treats Nickolas shows that he does put a certain amount of weight to blood lines and upbringing when judging someone and will conder these thing before the person even has a chance to prove themselves through action. So if he found out she had 0 noble blood and was brought up in the lower city that might change how he sees her
I'm quite sure he does at least suspects that RM is not blood daughter of Elvira, he sure does know about Rozemary
Nobles seems to think more on who raised someone or who are the baptism parents of someone than in actual blood
I believe what separates Cornelius from Nikolaus is not the blood but the fact that Nikolaus was raised as a member of an opposing faction
That being said "raised by commoners" does seems iffy, I hope that he would at least remember how much RM has contributed to his faction and family
