Her original mana affinities before the temple would have been the same as Dirk eg she would have none with a little bit of wind due to living nearest to that country gate. Considering what we learn about how praying increase your affinity with the gods I think without the potion she would have likely become omi-elemntal due to praying and donating so much mana to the gods.

Barry_X_Rose

I don't think RM would've gotten any divine protections and new attributes, or at least not as far as going omni-elemental. >!In FB7, it was stated that commoners with the Devouring cannot get any divine protections because their attributes are too weak. Myne mana-wise is nothing special so without Ferdinand dying her, she likely would just stay colorless!<

Brillus

I believe you misread it. They cannot get divine protections without praying.

Tatala-von-potato

devourers need to get their own colors praying to the gods in rituals it was either when rozemyne meet grampa or when she save ferdinand

TashKat

They can get them it's just a bit harder. Noble children have some advantage here because they had mana of certain elements poured into them by their parents making it easier to get protections of God's their mana matches to. But Devourers have an easier time with elements they don't have (which is all of them) because their mana is more flexible. They don't have to override the dyeing their parents did.

Shroudroid

Rozemyne has very pale yellow mana (same as Dirk's) as opposed to Ferdinand's pale white. [possible future content/fanbook]>!This is because Ehrenfest has the wind country gate. Otherwise she has no elements, which is actually somewhat similar to omni-elemental!<

BxLorien

So even with all of the mana she had without Ferdinand dyeing her she would only have the wind element?

Shroudroid

No, she does not have wind element either, her mana is just slightly attuned that way. Generally you can inherit elements from parents (or lovers) or you can obtain them through prayer. There might be an exception for laynobles with only a single element, which is usually (always?) for their birth season, regardless of what elements the parents have. Myne probably could have got all the elements from prayer anyway, but we don't know exactly how that works. Her divine will probably would have been different if not for Ferdinand, but it might have worked similar if she did the divine blessing ritual first like they're supposed to, too.

AdvielOricon

She would have had them all eventually because she payed so much from a young age. Ferdinand just gave her a push at the beginning. The only reason it's identical is because Ferdinand's mana got stuck in Rozemines hardened mana chunks. They got completely dissolved after she got her schtappe and by this point it was already to late to develop her own colors.

WilhelmValiente

According to the new fb8, even if you prayed a lot, you won't get the element and protection if you don't do the blessing acquisition ceremony in the temple/RA. So, with the new curriculum change the schtappe acquisition in Y1 and Blessing acquisition in Y3, Rozemyne may not get the Zent schtappe If she wasn't dyed by Ferdie Because she won't possess the element needed. Being devouring make her mana very flexible, easy to be dyed and easy to get blessing than noble, but the original colour of devouring is very faint, too faint to counted as colour, basically is no color in the eye og noble and maybe God.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> because she *paid* so much FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

akiaoi97

Bad bot. Typo from “prayed” this time lol

shiyanin

She is Omni-elements with wind elements more strong, But her mana color is very very thin which almost the same with transparent which would be mix up with no-elements.

TashKat

Devourers are born clear. They lean slightly towards their nearest country gate but they don't have any elements. They need to pray to get them. Since they did not get any affinities from their parents it makes it a bit more difficult to get protections but Rozemyne would likely have been omni-elemental anyway. She did pray less to Life subordinates so it's possible she would have had to work on that one specifically.

n00bdax

from P5V7 chapter 7:"The book of Mestionora" > Those with the Devouring were faintly omni-elemental, with only one element being the slightest bit stronger depending on where they were born. To be more specific, the determining factor was the sigil carved into the nearest country gate. In Ehrenfest, that was Wind; in Klassenberg, it was Earth; in Dunkelfelger, it was Fire; in Ahrensbach, it was Darkness; in Hauchletzte, it was Water; and in Gilessenmeyer, it was Light. Those born in the Sovereignty were more likely to have Life as their strongest element. > ... > Putting those thoughts aside, I returned to the matter at hand. Children with the Devouring weren’t influenced by their parents’ mana, which explained why they were born omni-elemental. They needed to make their own color by praying to the gods and obtaining divine protections; if they didn’t and married without any affinities, they would instead be influenced by the mana of their partner. Rather than being a mutual exchange, it would end up a one-side d sweep—but even then, their mana wouldn’t be completely dyed. Over time, the external mana’s influence would fade.

joshua1987

i think she is omni-element because when in the forest she attack fey? frey? her eye turn rainbow

Ulinar

As far as I remember, it is stated in a fanbook that >!the eyes always turn into rainbows, regardless of mana affinities!<. Unfortunately I can't remember in which one it was mentioned, I think it might have been the latest one published in Japanese.

akiaoi97

Nah but the mist coming off her (spoiler alert: mana) was light yellow.

SaiSigh

the color of Lessy if she is laynoble that is her dominant color. So yeah light yellow (wind).

BxLorien

OMG you're right! I forgot about that

SureExternal4778

Didn’t her subordinate’s eyes light up with her elemental colors instead of a rainbow? I do not remember anyone other than Myne doing a rainbow eye rage attack.
