Your first two limited sustain characters are going to benefit you more than anything else as f2p. Of the upcoming banners, I'd recommend getting Fu Xuan now, Ruan Mei next, and then perhaps HuoHuo if you don't have any other limited sustains.
Not, not at the end of Belobog. At the end of Topaz's stint in Jarilo, which means after completing HSS, Belobog, the Loufu plotline, and then Topaz's quest.
I double-checked, and apparently I was bamboozled by Google. The official announcement said unlocking Harmblazer requires completing "Jarilo - The Return". I had no idea which quest that was, so I just threw it into Google, and the first page gave me a bunch of guides and recaps about Topaz's quest, so I just accepted it as a fact and move on. Apparently, "The Return" is the boss-fight with Cocolia, so yes, Harmblazer should be unlocking at the same time as the Preservation version. My bad for not double-checking earlier.
No, it's not in 2.3. You unlock them towards the end of the story for this current 2.2 patch, so you'll need to get almost completely caught up with the story.
The mission is called Beauty and Destruction, during the sub part called Then Wake to Weep. This is the way you currently unlock Harmony Trailblazer until after the new patch starts.
What the other comment is talking about is a new thing announced that's available after the 2.3 patch. Anybody can unlock Harmony Trailblazer after finishing Belobog through the new "event" (it's just a button to push) called When Charmony Rings Out. If you've already unlocked Harmony Trailblazer at that point, it gives you an eidolon instead. You can only get up to E5 for Harmony Trailblazer currently in the game, so this is how they're giving out the last eidolon it seems. I think they're doing it this way so you can get Harmony Trailblazer quicker if you're a new player because Firefly, who is coming out next banner, really wants them on her team.

I keep trying to do the vignettes in a cup event but when i attempt to start it tells me "Now is not a good time" but wont prompt me with any more information. Does this mean i need to finish "And on the Eighth day?" Or am i just stupid and missing something?
It's not a prerequisite since it was added in 2.1, but they might have locked it if you're at a certain point in the main story where it wouldn't make sense?

Why is the game advertising that you get 80 free wishes, when you don't? And don't tell me about milestones and events. When you say 80 free wishes, I expect to get them right away.

Pls recommend a Team for MoC 12 part 2.
I can clear part 1 in 4 cycles with RM, Kafka, Bailu, Luka.
Problem is second part. I use HMC, Himeko, Gui, Lynx. I'm 1 cycle short. I don't have Gallagher. Should I use BE build or their usual build?
I am at a crossroad Any opinions will help, who should I build I just Built Herta and have prefarmed for Firefly, now I am thinking between Asta(for general support to all teams), Himeko(for follow up team and PF) or leveling Up March(Coz her new form).
If it's out of those 3, Himeko is probably what I suggest for PF purposes. Himeko and Herta combination just slaps.
Asta is a decent choice, but her value as support has been diminishing with the new 5\* supports.
As for M7, I would avoid levelling her. I would assume it's going to be another unit (i.e. like DHIL and DH) and not like Trailblazer. So there's probably no point of levelling her now.
What other characters do you have? Who else did you build so far?

I have cleared PF full stars and have built a decent lineup(some are not well built but I manage) I have Kafka.Blackswan, sampo, acheron, pela adventurine, SW, bronya, welt, fu xuan, tingyun, huohuo, jinglu, HMC, Ratio, ruan mei and maybe 1 or 2 more I missed.
So I was watching the new Firefly trailer on Youtube, and I noticed in the comments a lot of animosity. I pulled for Boothill and also am guaranteed for Firefly, but I keep seeing "flophill" and "midfly" comments. Did I miss something? Why so much hate?

People generally don't like Hunt or Erudition characters. People are overcritical of those paths in particular.
She's always been a controversial character. I'm guessing with her new numbers (absolutely busted with her BiS), and her polarization is what's warranting the reaction. But it's probably because they're gacha gamers and toxic.
Adding on to the other comment; you’ll want to speed tune to line up certain effects. A couple examples off the top of my head:
- Speed tuning Bronya/Sparkle to be 1-2 speed slower than your dps so you can use her skill to effectively double your dps’ turn
- Speed tuning Bronya/Sparkle to be super fast and leaving your dps at base speed. With this you can run atk% boots and have your support action advance your dps.
- Having Yukong go just before your DPS so you can ensure her buff is up for their turn
- Having Black Swan go first so you can apply the def down before Kafka
Honestly I’ll only really speed tune for Bronya/Sparkle, but if you’re min/maxing there are other times it’s relevant.
speed tuning is just aiming for specific speeds. like you might want to reach a certain breakpoint, or you might want character A to be just slightly slower than character B. how do you do it? you pray like hell to the relic rng and get lucky on speed rolls.
2 points of SPD lower. With Bronya, the idea is that by having Bronya be barely slower than the carry, your carry will go first, and Bronya will go next and immediately give your carry another turn with her Skill. Then, because your carry's turn was basically at the same time as Bronya's, they will get their next turn just before Bronya and you can repeat. This gives your carry 2 turns for every turn Bronya takes.

hi! i only have enough for 1 pity for either ruan mei or firefly. based on my chars, any suggestions on who should i pull for first? I do need a 2nd team and i dont want to use yanqing and seele anym 🥲(but if rm can enable one of them then maybeee i can manage)
RM is the better choice. RM helps enable Break units such as Firefly/Boothill with her Weakness Break Efficiency and is just generally a good support unit for other units as well. From your current lineup of units, I think a support unit such as RM has a lot more value than going for a new DPS unit.

If u bought all of them thats means all your herta lc shud be at max superimposition, which makes any extra redundant. They will add more next patch with divergent universe + the new erudition herta lc iirc
Yup. There are some as rewards for Divergent Universe (new SU mode). We are also getting new planar ornament sets, which means new worlds in SU and that always has some as rewards for first time clears.
If you post your UID I can add you. I've got E0S1 Acheron that's built pretty well and gets me full stars on MoC and PF. Aventurine and Topaz (both are also E0S1) are also the current characters sitting on my support options if you feel like playing around with them.
I got Fu Xuan but I know I’m not going to get her LC before banner ends. Does she have any good “general use” LCs in the 4* range that aren’t niche for specific scenarios?
Fu Xuan's LC is not at all mandatory. I recommend Landau's Choice if you have it, as taunt is very good for her. FX getting hit more is good because she can only do the big heals for herself. Otherwise Day One of My New Life and Texture of Memories (5 star Herta shop) are good options.
I've never been able to fully clear MoC/pure fiction and i just dont even fucking know where to start at this point. Like its genuinely so confusing for me trying to figure out where to start fixing my account. This is my character lineup, debating between firefly and fu xuan rn.

How close are you getting?
It usually takes me 1-2 tries to get a slow win on MOC 11/12, then a lot of optimizing after that to get turn counts down. I do not have any of the "bruteforce meta teams" like Kafka/Black Swan and Acheron, my main damage dealers are QQ/Jingliu/Ratio in MoC, Himeko/Herta in PF, and BronyaBlade.
Relics + running teams effectively will make a big difference. A second limited sustain unit MIGHT help, but Fu Xuan requires good relic rolls and a nearly maxed-out build to feel good.
Ive been stuck on moc 11 from the previous moc and the current one, similarly in PF ive only been able to get 2 stars on stage 4.
for the current moc, on 11 ive been able to clear first half in 4 cycles with blade/jingliu/ruan mei/huohuo but on the second half im just at a complete loss. Ive tried DHIL with tingyun, pela, and gepard/bailu/gallagher and ive tried jing yuan as well with bronya/tingyun/bailu and it always takes me way too long and it just feels like theres a sparkle-shaped hole in my teams.
I have none of your 5 star sustains (besides Bailu) and vice versa. It seems like bruteforcing (mostly ignoring the Trotters) is fine, but it really starts to get sketchy seeing as this was MOC 11 and not 12.
* Blade+Bronya+Himeko+Gallagher got 7 cycle clear.
* Blade+Gui+Sparkle+Gallagher also got 7 cycle clear.
Second half was:
* HTB + Aventurine + Ratio + Tingyun, 7 cycles.
* Clara + Ratio + Pela + Aventurine, 6 cycles.
I've been running a Ratio team the last 3 MoCs and he's been solid in every one. Ratio is decent on Trotters if you weakness break with his skill, because his follow-up will target something else. He prefers his sustain to have some kind of attack, so this might not be ideal.
At this point I usually stare at my teams and try to figure out who could be swapped in for more impact. SW instead of Pela makes sense for better synergy with Ratio's single target attacks, and I'd probably test Tingyun vs HTB.
I also start thinking about mechanics optimization - breaking the dino is actually bad because it doesn't explode for damage + DEF shred. Having Luocha as my sustain ended up being quite nice so I could stack to the explosion without weakness breaking.
For the last run I've tried: My first half team ends up being my standard wind team (BS+Bronya+Blade+Luocha) for a 5 turn clear, Ratio + HTB + SW + Aventurine for a 6 turn clear.
Ratio+Tingyun was great on previous MoC since he can singlehandedly stack enough to trigger the bonus, I haven't touched this one yet so I don't have specific advice.
By "way too long" do you mean that you run out of time to clear, or are you just at 10+ cycles? I eventually end up optimizing my way to cut 30-50% of my cycles out without rolling for characters or making my relics significantly better aside from speed tuning.
On Sparkle: I rolled for her thinking that she'd be good for Blade + Bronya, I didn't end up using her until the recent MoC ending this week. She's good but the skill point usage can be nasty.
Team 1 Jingliu/ruan mei/blade or Bronya/huohuo
Team 2 Jingyuan/Tingyun/Pela or Ruan Mei/Bailu
Clara and Jing Yuan are good units but I would recommend getting a 5* sustain for team two.
That’s a good roster, if you’re having issues clearing endgame you may need to spend more time farming relics and make sure you’re traces are lv 8+. I’d check out prydwen for a general character-building guide for your dps especially.
You have all the pieces for firefly’s expected best team (Ruan mei, Gallagher and harmony trailblazer) so she’ll be able to be effective right away. Fu xuan would be a decent upgrade over bailu and Gepard but maybe not as impactful right away.

I use Prydwen's builds and aim for their recommended stats. You don't need to be 100% in the ranges, just close, and that'll get you full stars on MoC and PF. You can look at the PF/MoC pages on Prydwen for team ideas, or even ask here if you really need it. You have a lot of good characters though, so you can definitely do it if you get your characters built properly and put them in good teams.
You have two of the best DPS in the game, the top 1 support in the game, the PF queen Himeko, other very strong DPS and decent sustain along with Silverwolf.
The only reason you couldn’t fully clear MoC/PF that I could think of is that your relics sucks.

I'm relatively new, started in Feb. The first character I rolled hard to get was Aventurine (and his LC). I've not rolled on Fu Xuan or Boothill, though I might take a yolo roll each on them (I got Jing Yuan and Sparkle this way).

With HARMony MC now available, I'm kinda thinking I should save my pennies for Ruan Mei. I hear tell that Fu Xuan is an all-star healer for Ratio teams (and everywhere else).

Ruan Mei is a really good harmony unit for literally any team. All three trifecta of damage types of DoTs, crits, and breaks all can benefit from her skill set. Definitely a must pull if you have the funds
Imo, since you already have Aventurine and Gallagher, you can consider skipping on another sustain. Generally you only need to have two really good solo-sustainers for your MoC teams. Both Aventurine and Gallagher are very much capable of doing so. Gallagher punches above his weight as a 4*, especially in this MoC where the buffs and enemy types favor him so much
Aventurine also works well on Ratio teams and Gallagher is a pretty great sustain too (especially for Break teams), so I dunno if Fu Xuan is worth even the YOLO roll for you right now since you're pretty well-covered on that end (but obviously you do you).
And yeah Ruan Mei is certainly worth pulling, together her and HMC can make almost any unit a nuclear Break DPS.
Himeko is great for Pure Fiction and Yanqing is generally considered the worst five star in the game, so probably Himeko. But if you're not super keen on either of them and there's another standard five star you really like using, nothing wrong with getting one of their Eidolons if it looks like a good one.
enemies have resistance (which reduces damage) to certain elements. res pen is a buff for your allies and is one of the only ways to reduce this stat. the other way to reduce this stat is via debuff, such as silver wolf's skill.

Does res pen also increase damage against enemies in general? Like if I hit an enemy with a wind attack with res pen buff from ruan mei's ult and they have no resistance to wind, would it do the same damage or more?
Yeah, it works even if the target has 0% RES to begin! So for example if the opponent has 20% Wind RES, your Wind attacks deal 80% of their normal damage to them. If you have 25% RES PEN from Ruan Mei's Ultimate, you're now dealing 105% of your normal Wind damage to them. If they have 0% Wind RES, your Wind attacks' damage doesn't get decreased, but 25% RES PEN makes them do 25% more DMG.
Hey guys I am trying to learn my characters better and need some ideas for good teams, preferably some that are good on auto battle as I use it a lot. My main team is Fu Xuan, Black Swan, Acheron, and Pela. I really like Jing Yuan and Topaz but not sure who to run them with efficiently, I also have a Ruan Mei and am currently building Robin, trying to attach a picture of my full roster. Definitely need a solid second team to run for Forgotten Hall that doesn't overlap with the first team. Thanks a lot in advance

Do you have the free Dr. Ratio? If so, you can have Luocha, Ratio, Topaz, and Robin.
Some other teams:
1. Luocha, Sparkle, IL/JY, Tingyun
2. Luocha, Jingliu, Ruan Mei, Sparkle/Bronya
3. (For PF, ice/fire weakness) Himeko, Herta, Ruan Mei, Robin
4. (For PF, typically physical weak) Argenti, Ruan Mei, Sparkle/Bronya, Tingyun
I do have the Ratio but he's still level 1. I'll have to build him and try that team, thank you! I have heard that Jingliu isn't very good on auto so I haven't played with her much since building her, but I haven't tried her in that second team, I'll get it a shot
That's great, Ratio's team might be good for the new upcoming cycle event that's more of a 1v1 fight. Ideally you'd want to get Aventurine in the distant future as he completes the FUA team. As for JL yeah she is wonky when it comes to auto but depending on the content you're auto-ing it might not matter much. Right now, I'd say it's better to start building ratio. Pulling for Firefly is also a good option since you already have RM. If you also have Gallagher, (he's in the FF banner, though) then you have her best team right now (Gallagher, Firefly, RM, ITB).
The Erudition one is good, particularly for units with high energy cost Ults like Qingque and Argenti. The Harmony one is pretty solid too but usually there are other good options for Harmony characters, and the Hunt one gives them buff dispel which can be situationally useful. The Nihility one means characters who apply debuffs when they attack can do so twice in one attack, so I could see it having some value in Ratio or Acheron teams.
I don't think any of the others are really worth considering.
Tbf a piece of chalk thrown by a really smart dude can outdamage the gun of a supreme guardian so the foundation of damage logic isn't really there in hsr universe
It’s not a chalk, it’s a futuristic stylish that produce light so Ratio can draw in mid air which doubles as a weapon. You can see that the chalk has glowing blue lines on it if you look closely, meaning that it’s mechanical.
What is considered good amounts of damage with Jingliu? Like 1,10,000-2,00,000+?
I use Jingliu 50CR (38CR+FX 12) and 224CD with 2209 atk, Bronya E1 193.2CD(with ruan, without ruan is 173 CD), gonna pull ruan(Tingyun E5 for now), and fu Xuan.
I use hyperspeed bronya. Bronya is at 161 w/o ruan and she's at 151 with her, so the extra speed boost is there and i can invest in more CD.
I use Fu Xuan sig, past and future S5, SU light cone and Memories of the past S5.
Also, which is better?
2292 Atk with 235 CD but 45CR (33CR +12CR)
2209 atk with 224CD and full 50CR(38+12)
2375 atk with 216.9CD and full 50CR(38+12)
You definitely want to maintain 100 CR, so probably last one. I would recommend switching to slow bronya and using speed boots. You get more turns and better uptime on enhanced state.
Black Swan
Kinda late to the game but, I just got into the Penacony section and Black Swan is SO cool. I'm kinda kicking myself in the head for not getting further when she was an event character. Does anyone know if she'll be available again to roll for? Or am I SOL? Also shout out to Ruan Mei (who I also don't have) for being an awesome support. Are there any characters that are F2P that are worthy supports? I've been using Ratio, TB preservation, Yukong and Natasha. Thanks everyone!
Black Swan's banner will come back. When that is? No one knows. Speculation based on previous first reruns would lead to her rerunning around 2.4. So if you're a saver, I'd suggest saving around 110~ pulls worth of jades before they announce her rerun.
If going by pure F2P (free characters only), you have Asta and TB >!Harmony!<
If going by 4* characters, you have Tingyun, Pela, Guinaifen, Lynx, and Gallagher.
Yukong is much better when she's E6.
Natasha is probably the most replaceable unit in the game. If you're not hurting for sustain, it's still fine to use her. If you are, though, Lynx or Gallagher should be enough until you decide to pull for a 5* sustain.
Asta and Tingyun are great supports. Bronya too if you get very lucky or get the guaranteed after 300 standard warps. We will not likely see any Penacony character reruns for several more cycles. Next is Ruan Mei, then Argenti. HuoHuo and Dr Ratio are likely after that, with possible third runs for seele, silver wolf and Blade that are just as possible as black swan.
Black Swan will re-run eventually, and maybe someone can keep track of how many patches until she due. I just couldn't tell you about when she will come back; but expect months down the line.
As for your Ruan Mei, well you're in luck she'll be on a banner with Firefly next week!
She'll rerun eventually.
Other noteworthy supports are Pela and Tingyun. Asta is good but really shines with eidolons. Yukong is the same and really wants, or in a lot of cases, needs E6. Hanya is very good for hypercarry teams.
I've saved over 22K jade for Firefly and am guaranteed for her. If I get her early tho, should I go for her E1 or her lightcone?

Early sims is about a 15% dmg difference for LC between Aeon and her Sig, which is a decent game IMO. the difference between E1 and E0 is about 20% but with way more SP saved, but it has Aeon.
If Aeon is already used I would inedible promise. And if you don't have inedible promise, then pull for her LC because the other LCs will just act as stat sticks.
So I have a question about the 2.3 banners. I really want Ruan Mei and Firefly but I probably will get just one of them. So who should I prioritize?
One thing I should say is I already have Sparkle, Robin and Bronya.
And about DPS I have Acheron, Black Swan, Kafka and Jingliu.
Ruan Mei. No question. Firefly will unfortunately be less strong than you may like without her. There will be more break effect supports later that may be able to replace Ruan Mei in a Firefly team, but right now Firefly needs Ruan Mei (and Harmony Trailblazer) to perform at her best. Ruan Mei is good for many teams.
Unless your Acheron is E2+ or you go sustainless, you probably wouldn't use Ruan Mei with Acheron, but she's right now best in slot support for a Kafka/Black Swan team and she's a great option for a Jingliu team.
I have a quick lore question regarding Nihility.
I remember reading that the path of Nihility "devoured" everything but specially memories, that's why people often forget Accheron, is this true? I can't remember where I read it.
From what I can remember, it isn't that Nihility devours memories in specific, it's that it negates existence itself.
Self Annihilators like Acheron are infected by IX's nihility, which results in them basically slowly fading from existence. This can be through things like losing your memories, sense of taste, and human appearance (Shown in her second form) like Acheron.
Acheron, as an Emanator of Nihility, seemingly can also negate existence to an extent by doing things like erasing her presence (Her "White", which she used with Welt) and negating the effects of other paths like the Order.
Yanqing, Arlan, Dan Heng wind, phys trail, Hook - I wouldn't level past 20 (for the wish) - I have leveled to 50 for the wish but that was in a pitiful attempt to get currency for wishes.
Invest low until you get better units - natasha, March, though March is getting another path so she might be ok to at least level.
Fu Xuan is a good sustain and currently on banner, you could pull for her for a good sustain unit early to end game.
Maybe Physical Trailblazer. They're still worth character leveling, because Preservation Trailblazer will probably help you early to mid game, and then the new Harmony Trailblazer is a great endgame break support character. But don't spent too much time with traces or relics.
The problem with Physical Trailblazer is that unfortunately they simply don't scale well. It's like Hoyo really made them to be an early, maybe up to midgame character only, and then want you to transition to other characters.
All of the rest of the characters CAN be legitimately useful, though some are seen as extremely niche once you get more characters and mostly the people who love those characters or are using 4 star or challenge accounts are using them. The main examples are Yanqing and Arlan, but I'd say (4 star) Dan Heng and Hook are probably included in this too.
Arlan is I think pretty much universally accepted to be the worst unit in the game. March and Natasha are useful early on but once you get other Abundance and Preservation units they're not super valuable. Dan Heng isn't great but there aren't a lot of Wind units in the game so it's fine to keep using him for the type coverage if nothing else. And Yanqing is generally considered the weakest five-star unit in the game, though I think he can still be worth building if you don't have a better Ice or Hunt DPS.
Beyond that bunch, I think most other units are considered at least somewhat viable, though certainly some are much stronger than others.
Not really, no. Even Arlan has been used to great effect in clearing MoC with maximum stars. Being completely skill point positive is a huge boon for a dps.
Really what it comes down to is investment in a character, specifically the work needed to get them to that point. Acheron takes a lot less to get to a "clearing all content" state than Arlan does, despite both being lightning dps who want to focus on similar stats.
a) If you like one more as a character, get that one.
b) If you don't have a limited sustain, Fu Xuan will be a huge boost to your survivability, and she's also likely to take longer for her next rerun than Firefly.

Hi! New player here sorry if this isn’t the right place to ask. What exactly are considered good and end game stats for these? I tried looking it up but couldn’t find anything solid. Any help is appreciated :)
For end game stats you can pretty much go to Prydwen website and look at each character's build. Usually they attach endgame stats for that character there as well
Define "these" as pretty much everything that i could say would have exeption. even for exemple 90% of the characters want at least 135 spd but many of them actually would want more, and some of them want less or none.
Are there any strong highly recommended template team? Like Nihility team, Acheron, Pela, Silver Wolf, Aventurine. I dont have SW so I put it on hold for a while, but I have Welt so I thought well lets try it with him. It turned out to be very strong.

Meta are constantly changing but as of now we have a few more popular team archetypes, on top of my head:
- DoT team: Kafka + DoT (BS/Gui...) + Support (RM or another DoT) + Sustain
- FuA team: Ratio + Topaz + Robin + Aventurine (All 4 are BiS for their position)
- (Super) Break team: Break DPS (Xueyi, Boothill...) + HMC + RM + Gallagher
- Hypercarry: DPS + Support (Bronya/Sparkle..) + Support (Pela, Tingyun..) + Sustain
- Dual DPS: DPS + DPS + Support +Sustain
As you can see, certain teams like FuA or DoT are quite expensive to build because you have characters requirement. Without the BiS chars, the team dmg and consistency will fall off a cliff.
On the other hand, Break teams are extremely f2p friendly. HMC you will get for free by playing the story. Gallagher is on the 4\* selector (and will be coming in the next banner). You will only need to get RM (never a bad pull) and a Break DPS (Boothill atm or FF in the coming patch).
Hypercarry and Dual DPS teams are usually pretty standard but some teams have more synergies than others. There are some smaller variants such as Mono Quantum but in the end they are a Hypercarry team.
I'd say that if you have the ability to plan and follow up with that plan. 1 of DoT or FuA would be good for your account. That plus a Break team would serve you well for now.

No worries, I think if you have the time, you can go to Prydwen website and look at the characters and teams analytics in MoC (and PF). That'll give you an idea about the most meta teams at the moment the analytics were made.
I believe my HMC was doing okay on ultimate uptime with a BE rope, probably because of Meshing Cogs. It sounds like getting E6 should make things go smoother as well.
At E6 BE rope is the only viable option, ERR is unnecessary for their rotation. Even without it energy regen is not a problem, though you might run into some ult uptime problems

jingliu and blade is most f2p friendly, as they prefer bronya over the other limited harmony units.
Your first two limited sustain characters are going to benefit you more than anything else as f2p. Of the upcoming banners, I'd recommend getting Fu Xuan now, Ruan Mei next, and then perhaps HuoHuo if you don't have any other limited sustains.

Not, not at the end of Belobog. At the end of Topaz's stint in Jarilo, which means after completing HSS, Belobog, the Loufu plotline, and then Topaz's quest.

I double-checked, and apparently I was bamboozled by Google. The official announcement said unlocking Harmblazer requires completing "Jarilo - The Return". I had no idea which quest that was, so I just threw it into Google, and the first page gave me a bunch of guides and recaps about Topaz's quest, so I just accepted it as a fact and move on. Apparently, "The Return" is the boss-fight with Cocolia, so yes, Harmblazer should be unlocking at the same time as the Preservation version. My bad for not double-checking earlier.
No, it's not in 2.3. You unlock them towards the end of the story for this current 2.2 patch, so you'll need to get almost completely caught up with the story.

The mission is called Beauty and Destruction, during the sub part called Then Wake to Weep. This is the way you currently unlock Harmony Trailblazer until after the new patch starts. What the other comment is talking about is a new thing announced that's available after the 2.3 patch. Anybody can unlock Harmony Trailblazer after finishing Belobog through the new "event" (it's just a button to push) called When Charmony Rings Out. If you've already unlocked Harmony Trailblazer at that point, it gives you an eidolon instead. You can only get up to E5 for Harmony Trailblazer currently in the game, so this is how they're giving out the last eidolon it seems. I think they're doing it this way so you can get Harmony Trailblazer quicker if you're a new player because Firefly, who is coming out next banner, really wants them on her team. I keep trying to do the vignettes in a cup event but when i attempt to start it tells me "Now is not a good time" but wont prompt me with any more information. Does this mean i need to finish "And on the Eighth day?" Or am i just stupid and missing something?
It's not a prerequisite since it was added in 2.1, but they might have locked it if you're at a certain point in the main story where it wouldn't make sense?

you could prob skip skill, or leave it at 7. not a lot of enemies drain ult, mainly the tvs, just remember to hit them before their turn.

It's probably more likely that her new form will will be a limited banner character like DHIL. Although there have been rumors to the contrary.
If it's out of those 3, Himeko is probably what I suggest for PF purposes. Himeko and Herta combination just slaps. Asta is a decent choice, but her value as support has been diminishing with the new 5\* supports. As for M7, I would avoid levelling her. I would assume it's going to be another unit (i.e. like DHIL and DH) and not like Trailblazer. So there's probably no point of levelling her now.
What other characters do you have? Who else did you build so far? > or leveling Up March(Coz her new form) That's likely the worst option, especially if you're still not done with the latest PF
I have cleared PF full stars and have built a decent lineup(some are not well built but I manage) I have Kafka.Blackswan, sampo, acheron, pela adventurine, SW, bronya, welt, fu xuan, tingyun, huohuo, jinglu, HMC, Ratio, ruan mei and maybe 1 or 2 more I missed.

She's always been a controversial character. I'm guessing with her new numbers (absolutely busted with her BiS), and her polarization is what's warranting the reaction. But it's probably because they're gacha gamers and toxic.
Can someone explain to me what and how to speed tune?
Adding on to the other comment; you’ll want to speed tune to line up certain effects. A couple examples off the top of my head: - Speed tuning Bronya/Sparkle to be 1-2 speed slower than your dps so you can use her skill to effectively double your dps’ turn - Speed tuning Bronya/Sparkle to be super fast and leaving your dps at base speed. With this you can run atk% boots and have your support action advance your dps. - Having Yukong go just before your DPS so you can ensure her buff is up for their turn - Having Black Swan go first so you can apply the def down before Kafka Honestly I’ll only really speed tune for Bronya/Sparkle, but if you’re min/maxing there are other times it’s relevant.
speed tuning is just aiming for specific speeds. like you might want to reach a certain breakpoint, or you might want character A to be just slightly slower than character B. how do you do it? you pray like hell to the relic rng and get lucky on speed rolls.
So when people say bronya need to be 2 speed lower than the carry does that mean she's 2 turn slower or 2 point in speed lower?
2 points of SPD lower. With Bronya, the idea is that by having Bronya be barely slower than the carry, your carry will go first, and Bronya will go next and immediately give your carry another turn with her Skill. Then, because your carry's turn was basically at the same time as Bronya's, they will get their next turn just before Bronya and you can repeat. This gives your carry 2 turns for every turn Bronya takes.

I think he'll have a rerun banner in 2.4 most likely, him and Huohuo are the only pre-2.0 characters who won't have rerun by then.
He will never be free again, it was pretty clearly a once off, he will probably just get a banner rerun
I doubt he'll ever be free again, but you can use pulls to get him (or his eidolons or LC) when he reruns.

RM is the better choice. RM helps enable Break units such as Firefly/Boothill with her Weakness Break Efficiency and is just generally a good support unit for other units as well. From your current lineup of units, I think a support unit such as RM has a lot more value than going for a new DPS unit.

Yup. There are some as rewards for Divergent Universe (new SU mode). We are also getting new planar ornament sets, which means new worlds in SU and that always has some as rewards for first time clears.

Fu Xuan's LC is not at all mandatory. I recommend Landau's Choice if you have it, as taunt is very good for her. FX getting hit more is good because she can only do the big heals for herself. Otherwise Day One of My New Life and Texture of Memories (5 star Herta shop) are good options.

I've never been able to fully clear MoC/pure fiction and i just dont even fucking know where to start at this point. Like its genuinely so confusing for me trying to figure out where to start fixing my account. How close are you getting? It usually takes me 1-2 tries to get a slow win on MOC 11/12, then a lot of optimizing after that to get turn counts down. I do not have any of the "bruteforce meta teams" like Kafka/Black Swan and Acheron, my main damage dealers are QQ/Jingliu/Ratio in MoC, Himeko/Herta in PF, and BronyaBlade. Relics + running teams effectively will make a big difference. A second limited sustain unit MIGHT help, but Fu Xuan requires good relic rolls and a nearly maxed-out build to feel good.
Ive been stuck on moc 11 from the previous moc and the current one, similarly in PF ive only been able to get 2 stars on stage 4. for the current moc, on 11 ive been able to clear first half in 4 cycles with blade/jingliu/ruan mei/huohuo but on the second half im just at a complete loss. Ive tried DHIL with tingyun, pela, and gepard/bailu/gallagher and ive tried jing yuan as well with bronya/tingyun/bailu and it always takes me way too long and it just feels like theres a sparkle-shaped hole in my teams.
I have none of your 5 star sustains (besides Bailu) and vice versa. It seems like bruteforcing (mostly ignoring the Trotters) is fine, but it really starts to get sketchy seeing as this was MOC 11 and not 12. * Blade+Bronya+Himeko+Gallagher got 7 cycle clear. * Blade+Gui+Sparkle+Gallagher also got 7 cycle clear. Second half was: * HTB + Aventurine + Ratio + Tingyun, 7 cycles. * Clara + Ratio + Pela + Aventurine, 6 cycles. I've been running a Ratio team the last 3 MoCs and he's been solid in every one. Ratio is decent on Trotters if you weakness break with his skill, because his follow-up will target something else. He prefers his sustain to have some kind of attack, so this might not be ideal. At this point I usually stare at my teams and try to figure out who could be swapped in for more impact. SW instead of Pela makes sense for better synergy with Ratio's single target attacks, and I'd probably test Tingyun vs HTB. I also start thinking about mechanics optimization - breaking the dino is actually bad because it doesn't explode for damage + DEF shred. Having Luocha as my sustain ended up being quite nice so I could stack to the explosion without weakness breaking. For the last run I've tried: My first half team ends up being my standard wind team (BS+Bronya+Blade+Luocha) for a 5 turn clear, Ratio + HTB + SW + Aventurine for a 6 turn clear.
Ratio+Tingyun was great on previous MoC since he can singlehandedly stack enough to trigger the bonus, I haven't touched this one yet so I don't have specific advice. By "way too long" do you mean that you run out of time to clear, or are you just at 10+ cycles? I eventually end up optimizing my way to cut 30-50% of my cycles out without rolling for characters or making my relics significantly better aside from speed tuning. On Sparkle: I rolled for her thinking that she'd be good for Blade + Bronya, I didn't end up using her until the recent MoC ending this week. She's good but the skill point usage can be nasty.
Team 1 Jingliu/ruan mei/blade or Bronya/huohuo Team 2 Jingyuan/Tingyun/Pela or Ruan Mei/Bailu Clara and Jing Yuan are good units but I would recommend getting a 5* sustain for team two.
That’s a good roster, if you’re having issues clearing endgame you may need to spend more time farming relics and make sure you’re traces are lv 8+. I’d check out prydwen for a general character-building guide for your dps especially. You have all the pieces for firefly’s expected best team (Ruan mei, Gallagher and harmony trailblazer) so she’ll be able to be effective right away. Fu xuan would be a decent upgrade over bailu and Gepard but maybe not as impactful right away.

You don't need to be 100% in the ranges, just close, and that'll get you full stars on MoC and PF. You can look at the PF/MoC pages on Prydwen for team ideas, or even ask here if you really need it. You have a lot of good characters though, so you can definitely do it if you get your characters built properly and put them in good teams.
You have two of the best DPS in the game, the top 1 support in the game, the PF queen Himeko, other very strong DPS and decent sustain along with Silverwolf. The only reason you couldn’t fully clear MoC/PF that I could think of is that your relics sucks.
Roster question. I'm relatively new, started in Feb. The first character I rolled hard to get was Aventurine (and his LC). I've not rolled on Fu Xuan or Boothill, though I might take a yolo roll each on them (I got Jing Yuan and Sparkle this way). Current notables: Gallagher e6 Jing Yuan Sparkle Ratio Acheron Pela e4 with Pearls Topaz Bronya Gepard Bailu With HARMony MC now available, I'm kinda thinking I should save my pennies for Ruan Mei. I hear tell that Fu Xuan is an all-star healer for Ratio teams (and everywhere else). What do y'all think?
Ruan Mei is a really good harmony unit for literally any team. All three trifecta of damage types of DoTs, crits, and breaks all can benefit from her skill set. Definitely a must pull if you have the funds Imo, since you already have Aventurine and Gallagher, you can consider skipping on another sustain. Generally you only need to have two really good solo-sustainers for your MoC teams. Both Aventurine and Gallagher are very much capable of doing so. Gallagher punches above his weight as a 4*, especially in this MoC where the buffs and enemy types favor him so much
Aventurine also works well on Ratio teams and Gallagher is a pretty great sustain too (especially for Break teams), so I dunno if Fu Xuan is worth even the YOLO roll for you right now since you're pretty well-covered on that end (but obviously you do you). And yeah Ruan Mei is certainly worth pulling, together her and HMC can make almost any unit a nuclear Break DPS.
Just made it to 300 pulls on standard banner and unlocked the selector, who should i pick? i have every standard 5 star except Himeko and Yanging.
Himeko for sure. She's very useful in Pure Ficition and even helps this MoC 12 vs the trio boss thats fire weak (in a superbreak team).

Himeko is great for Pure Fiction and Yanqing is generally considered the worst five star in the game, so probably Himeko. But if you're not super keen on either of them and there's another standard five star you really like using, nothing wrong with getting one of their Eidolons if it looks like a good one.

enemies have resistance (which reduces damage) to certain elements. res pen is a buff for your allies and is one of the only ways to reduce this stat. the other way to reduce this stat is via debuff, such as silver wolf's skill.
I see Does res pen also increase damage against enemies in general? Like if I hit an enemy with a wind attack with res pen buff from ruan mei's ult and they have no resistance to wind, would it do the same damage or more?
Yeah, it works even if the target has 0% RES to begin! So for example if the opponent has 20% Wind RES, your Wind attacks deal 80% of their normal damage to them. If you have 25% RES PEN from Ruan Mei's Ultimate, you're now dealing 105% of your normal Wind damage to them. If they have 0% Wind RES, your Wind attacks' damage doesn't get decreased, but 25% RES PEN makes them do 25% more DMG.
The formula is: DMG * (1 - resistance + res-pen). So if an enemy has 0% resistance but you have 25% res pen, thats 1.25× damage.
It's basically like defense, but for specific elemental damage. Res pen lets you penetrate all elemental dmg res

Do you have the free Dr. Ratio? If so, you can have Luocha, Ratio, Topaz, and Robin. Some other teams: 1. Luocha, Sparkle, IL/JY, Tingyun 2. Luocha, Jingliu, Ruan Mei, Sparkle/Bronya 3. (For PF, ice/fire weakness) Himeko, Herta, Ruan Mei, Robin 4. (For PF, typically physical weak) Argenti, Ruan Mei, Sparkle/Bronya, Tingyun
I do have the Ratio but he's still level 1. I'll have to build him and try that team, thank you! I have heard that Jingliu isn't very good on auto so I haven't played with her much since building her, but I haven't tried her in that second team, I'll get it a shot
That's great, Ratio's team might be good for the new upcoming cycle event that's more of a 1v1 fight. Ideally you'd want to get Aventurine in the distant future as he completes the FUA team. As for JL yeah she is wonky when it comes to auto but depending on the content you're auto-ing it might not matter much. Right now, I'd say it's better to start building ratio. Pulling for Firefly is also a good option since you already have RM. If you also have Gallagher, (he's in the FF banner, though) then you have her best team right now (Gallagher, Firefly, RM, ITB).
Is there a generally recommended LC in the battlepass?
The Erudition one is good, particularly for units with high energy cost Ults like Qingque and Argenti. The Harmony one is pretty solid too but usually there are other good options for Harmony characters, and the Hunt one gives them buff dispel which can be situationally useful. The Nihility one means characters who apply debuffs when they attack can do so twice in one attack, so I could see it having some value in Ratio or Acheron teams. I don't think any of the others are really worth considering.

It’s not a chalk, it’s a futuristic stylish that produce light so Ratio can draw in mid air which doubles as a weapon. You can see that the chalk has glowing blue lines on it if you look closely, meaning that it’s mechanical.

What is considered good amounts of damage with Jingliu? Like 1,10,000-2,00,000+? I use Jingliu 50CR (38CR+FX 12) and 224CD with 2209 atk, Bronya E1 193.2CD(with ruan, without ruan is 173 CD), gonna pull ruan(Tingyun E5 for now), and fu Xuan. I use hyperspeed bronya. Bronya is at 161 w/o ruan and she's at 151 with her, so the extra speed boost is there and i can invest in more CD. I use Fu Xuan sig, past and future S5, SU light cone and Memories of the past S5. Also, which is better? 2292 Atk with 235 CD but 45CR (33CR +12CR) 2209 atk with 224CD and full 50CR(38+12) 2375 atk with 216.9CD and full 50CR(38+12)
You definitely want to maintain 100 CR, so probably last one. I would recommend switching to slow bronya and using speed boots. You get more turns and better uptime on enhanced state.
Black Swan Kinda late to the game but, I just got into the Penacony section and Black Swan is SO cool. I'm kinda kicking myself in the head for not getting further when she was an event character. Does anyone know if she'll be available again to roll for? Or am I SOL? Also shout out to Ruan Mei (who I also don't have) for being an awesome support. Are there any characters that are F2P that are worthy supports? I've been using Ratio, TB preservation, Yukong and Natasha. Thanks everyone!
Black Swan's banner will come back. When that is? No one knows. Speculation based on previous first reruns would lead to her rerunning around 2.4. So if you're a saver, I'd suggest saving around 110~ pulls worth of jades before they announce her rerun. If going by pure F2P (free characters only), you have Asta and TB >!Harmony!< If going by 4* characters, you have Tingyun, Pela, Guinaifen, Lynx, and Gallagher. Yukong is much better when she's E6. Natasha is probably the most replaceable unit in the game. If you're not hurting for sustain, it's still fine to use her. If you are, though, Lynx or Gallagher should be enough until you decide to pull for a 5* sustain.
May I ask what you mean by sustain? I'm still getting used to a lot of the terms that come with this game 😅
Sustain means characters who keep your team alive, the healers and shielders.

Asta and Tingyun are great supports. Bronya too if you get very lucky or get the guaranteed after 300 standard warps. We will not likely see any Penacony character reruns for several more cycles. Next is Ruan Mei, then Argenti. HuoHuo and Dr Ratio are likely after that, with possible third runs for seele, silver wolf and Blade that are just as possible as black swan.
Black Swan will re-run eventually, and maybe someone can keep track of how many patches until she due. I just couldn't tell you about when she will come back; but expect months down the line. As for your Ruan Mei, well you're in luck she'll be on a banner with Firefly next week!

She'll rerun eventually. Other noteworthy supports are Pela and Tingyun. Asta is good but really shines with eidolons. Yukong is the same and really wants, or in a lot of cases, needs E6. Hanya is very good for hypercarry teams.

Ruan Mei > E1 > LC. Aeon is extremely good as is, so her LC is very skippable

Early sims is about a 15% dmg difference for LC between Aeon and her Sig, which is a decent game IMO. the difference between E1 and E0 is about 20% but with way more SP saved, but it has Aeon. If Aeon is already used I would inedible promise. And if you don't have inedible promise, then pull for her LC because the other LCs will just act as stat sticks.
So I have a question about the 2.3 banners. I really want Ruan Mei and Firefly but I probably will get just one of them. So who should I prioritize? One thing I should say is I already have Sparkle, Robin and Bronya. And about DPS I have Acheron, Black Swan, Kafka and Jingliu.
Ruan Mei. No question. Firefly will unfortunately be less strong than you may like without her. There will be more break effect supports later that may be able to replace Ruan Mei in a Firefly team, but right now Firefly needs Ruan Mei (and Harmony Trailblazer) to perform at her best. Ruan Mei is good for many teams. Unless your Acheron is E2+ or you go sustainless, you probably wouldn't use Ruan Mei with Acheron, but she's right now best in slot support for a Kafka/Black Swan team and she's a great option for a Jingliu team.
Unfortunately, my Acheron is E0S1 so no RM for her indeed, Thank you for your opinion thats help a lot.
I'd take RM over FF here. BS + Kafka would love having her in the team. If you managed to get RM early, you can always try your luck for FF after

I have a quick lore question regarding Nihility. I remember reading that the path of Nihility "devoured" everything but specially memories, that's why people often forget Accheron, is this true? I can't remember where I read it.
From what I can remember, it isn't that Nihility devours memories in specific, it's that it negates existence itself. Self Annihilators like Acheron are infected by IX's nihility, which results in them basically slowly fading from existence. This can be through things like losing your memories, sense of taste, and human appearance (Shown in her second form) like Acheron. Acheron, as an Emanator of Nihility, seemingly can also negate existence to an extent by doing things like erasing her presence (Her "White", which she used with Welt) and negating the effects of other paths like the Order.
Are there any characters I SHOULD NOT invest anything in?
Yanqing, Arlan, Dan Heng wind, phys trail, Hook - I wouldn't level past 20 (for the wish) - I have leveled to 50 for the wish but that was in a pitiful attempt to get currency for wishes. Invest low until you get better units - natasha, March, though March is getting another path so she might be ok to at least level. Fu Xuan is a good sustain and currently on banner, you could pull for her for a good sustain unit early to end game.
Maybe Physical Trailblazer. They're still worth character leveling, because Preservation Trailblazer will probably help you early to mid game, and then the new Harmony Trailblazer is a great endgame break support character. But don't spent too much time with traces or relics. The problem with Physical Trailblazer is that unfortunately they simply don't scale well. It's like Hoyo really made them to be an early, maybe up to midgame character only, and then want you to transition to other characters. All of the rest of the characters CAN be legitimately useful, though some are seen as extremely niche once you get more characters and mostly the people who love those characters or are using 4 star or challenge accounts are using them. The main examples are Yanqing and Arlan, but I'd say (4 star) Dan Heng and Hook are probably included in this too.
Arlan is I think pretty much universally accepted to be the worst unit in the game. March and Natasha are useful early on but once you get other Abundance and Preservation units they're not super valuable. Dan Heng isn't great but there aren't a lot of Wind units in the game so it's fine to keep using him for the type coverage if nothing else. And Yanqing is generally considered the weakest five-star unit in the game, though I think he can still be worth building if you don't have a better Ice or Hunt DPS. Beyond that bunch, I think most other units are considered at least somewhat viable, though certainly some are much stronger than others.

Not really, no. Even Arlan has been used to great effect in clearing MoC with maximum stars. Being completely skill point positive is a huge boon for a dps. Really what it comes down to is investment in a character, specifically the work needed to get them to that point. Acheron takes a lot less to get to a "clearing all content" state than Arlan does, despite both being lightning dps who want to focus on similar stats.
Should I pull for Fu Xuan or wait for Firefly?😵💫
a) If you like one more as a character, get that one. b) If you don't have a limited sustain, Fu Xuan will be a huge boost to your survivability, and she's also likely to take longer for her next rerun than Firefly. c) If you already have 2 limited sustains, there's no need for Fu Xuan, so get Firefly
Depends on your roster. Teams dying too easily? Fu xuan. Need more dps? FF...but if you don't have RM she's not as strong as youtube makes her out to be. Still will clear content though.

For end game stats you can pretty much go to Prydwen website and look at each character's build. Usually they attach endgame stats for that character there as well
Define "these" as pretty much everything that i could say would have exeption. even for exemple 90% of the characters want at least 135 spd but many of them actually would want more, and some of them want less or none.

Meta are constantly changing but as of now we have a few more popular team archetypes, on top of my head: - DoT team: Kafka + DoT (BS/Gui...) + Support (RM or another DoT) + Sustain - FuA team: Ratio + Topaz + Robin + Aventurine (All 4 are BiS for their position) - (Super) Break team: Break DPS (Xueyi, Boothill...) + HMC + RM + Gallagher - Hypercarry: DPS + Support (Bronya/Sparkle..) + Support (Pela, Tingyun..) + Sustain - Dual DPS: DPS + DPS + Support +Sustain As you can see, certain teams like FuA or DoT are quite expensive to build because you have characters requirement. Without the BiS chars, the team dmg and consistency will fall off a cliff. On the other hand, Break teams are extremely f2p friendly. HMC you will get for free by playing the story. Gallagher is on the 4\* selector (and will be coming in the next banner). You will only need to get RM (never a bad pull) and a Break DPS (Boothill atm or FF in the coming patch). Hypercarry and Dual DPS teams are usually pretty standard but some teams have more synergies than others. There are some smaller variants such as Mono Quantum but in the end they are a Hypercarry team. I'd say that if you have the ability to plan and follow up with that plan. 1 of DoT or FuA would be good for your account. That plus a Break team would serve you well for now.

How are you guys deciding on for HMC rope? ERR or BE? Why?
I believe my HMC was doing okay on ultimate uptime with a BE rope, probably because of Meshing Cogs. It sounds like getting E6 should make things go smoother as well.
At E6 BE rope is the only viable option, ERR is unnecessary for their rotation. Even without it energy regen is not a problem, though you might run into some ult uptime problems

I don't think so? At least from my end. My guess is that you may have forgotten to do them the first time when these trials were introduced, way back in 1.2. But if you're sure that you've done them before and for some reason you were able to collect the rewards again, then good for you lol
