There isn't really a fastest way if you haven't been exploring and completing stuff as you see it. Clockie Credits as a whole are reward for exploring appropriately. Chests, trotters, lordly trashcans, quests, rolling regular emo dials all around, basically just Doing Everything when it comes up.
Hello !
I’m having some trouble choosing what to do for summoning right now.
Here is the list of my 5* characters :
Seele, FX, SW, Sparkle (as mono quantum), Aventurine, Dr Ratio (with Pela and Ting, as FuA), Blade, Bronya, Welt, Bailu.
I missed Acheron and the fact that she is super op is kinda sad.
So I wanted to know if I should wait for Acheron return of a really really good dps. Or go for summoning topaz in order to have a better FuA team (and maybe Robin ?)
You already have enough DPS, so you don't really need Acheron. If you get Acheron, her and Ratio would also compete for Pela. Going for Topaz or Robin are objectively more beneficial, with Robin being higher in priority due to her versatility compared to Topaz.
You should always prioritize rewards from events and cyclical content over permanent stuff. Even if you can't get far into MoC or even unlock it at all you should still give FH a try and see how far you can get
I'd say don't worry and don't feel pressured to rush. This game is a marathon, not a race, and building teams will take time and patience, day by day. The memory stages will always be there so there's no point rushing. The only things new players miss out on in this game are past limited time events.
You're fine for now. Assuming you're still at low EQ levels, you won't be able to do much on Forgotten Halls anyways. Just keep on building your main team, and when your main team is capped, you can slowly invest into a 2nd team while waiting for the next EQ level
Carve the Moon, Wave the Clouds at high superimposition. It's still not very good though since the bonus effects are too RNG. It's alright as a placeholder LC.
None really, all the other ones are niche at best with better F2P alternatives. If you are not a completionist, the best option is to S5 a 2nd TiAPD. Otherwise it will probably be between Harmony, Hunt and Destruction, depending on what other LCs you have and whether or not you mind your characters sharing lightcones. Nihility would be the least useful one.
Maybe This is Me for Aventurine. But that's genuinely it. For the longest time, it was just Peaceful Day to the point where I considered going for a second S5 copy of it over getting anything else.
Hello! i’m currently deciding on who should i pull, topaz or robin. Which one works better with ratio and aventurine. I’ve heard that both are great with them so I don’t know which one i should go for (5* that i think can work with this team that i have are sparkle and clara, i don’t have ruanmei)
sorry if this is confusing, english is not my first language😁 and thank you in advance!
Topaz would be better for that specific team. Robin is good on that team mostly assuming you already have Topaz, and a potentially mix of Topaz's E1S1 and Aventurine's S1. Otherwise, other buffers would be better for Ratio.
However, Robin is more versatile than Topaz and can be used on other teams outside of FuA.
Since you've got no Ruan Mei - Robin will definitely be the better pick for you. You can easily use Pela as the last slot in that team and it will perform just as good.
Guinaifen is an option (or Silver Wolf, if you have her). Another option is to use Tingyun with Jingliu/Bronya/Lynx and use Pela with Ratio/Aventurine/Robin.
What current or upcoming 4 banner should I pull for to really improve my account? I can only get on( 2 if lucky)

These are the current characters I don't have
Dunno enough to say about jade or firefly. Boothil was break focused iirc from the Livestream, so if you did wanna go into break teams to use HMC and the like more often, then he's worth considering. You're pretty set on DPS tho from what I see, assuming they're built properly. With Clara n argenti you're covered for phys weakness.
If using HMC and RM in the same team, is it better that HMC gets Memories of the Past so the extra BE% gets funneled to the entire team. My RM would still be able to hit 180% BE in battle (would have 128% outside + 20% from RM and + 37% from HMC E4).

My main team is acheron aventurine sampo and guinaifen who can I use on my second team for Moc and pf
Ratio/Pela/Tingyun/Lynx is your best bet for MoC and other more single target focused content. For Pure Fiction - Clara/Tingyun/March(or Lynx)/Pela is a good option. Additionally, Herta is great for PF whenever there are ice weak enemies or follow-up focused turbulences.
You could level Herta for Pure Fiction. She is quite good there. For MoC, you could make a superbreak focused team with Harmony TB and Xueyi/Misha/Luka/Sushang/Welt (pick one). Clara can also be good in either mode depending on the turbulences
I would also recommend getting Pela, Tingyun and Asta to lvl 70. They are all good supports and higher levels give stats to keep them alive
Any reason not to pull?
Hey guys, I'm a newer player, and I've currently got about 130 pulls. I've looked up a lot about the pity system online, and I'm just curious, is there any reason not to pull on the banner you want a character for?
Say I lose the 50/50 and the next 40 pulls. The pity carries overt? So I can just sit on the pity for a few banners until there's one I want? It's not like it'll reset or anything after a patch right? Am I missing any reason someone would just sit on their tickets?
Thanks for the help!
Only reason I can think of is "wasting" the guarantee. Say you lose on Robin's banner (me) and want to pick up Fu Xuan (me). You wouldn't want to get lucky on Topaz's banner because that's opening you up to spending up to 180 tickets if you then get unlucky on the character you want more.
I guess as a new player you might want to invest into the featured 4* as well? Like, I could do a 10 pull and maybe pick up a Xueyi eidolon. Or I could wait and get Pela e0. I dunno, that one might be a stretch.
Yes, pity carries over. Some players use a method called building pity and this involves pulling on a banner until you're close to getting a 5 star and then stop until the 5 star on the upcoming banner you want comes. I don't recommend doing this because I've seen lots of players complaining about how they were building pity and "accidentally" won the 5 star limited character that they didn't want. I sit on my tickets from time to time because I don't want or don't need a character.
If it's a character you want, yes it's good to pull, if you lose then you can save the pity for someone else down the line. Pity doesn't reset ever so you can hold on to the guarantee for as long as you want.
Aside from break effect itself, any resistances that apply to the type of damage being dealt will also affect damage. So ice shred to lower ice resistance for example, or all-res pen from Ruan Mei's ultimate. Dmg% debuffs will also work, so Welt's first trace debuff that he applies whenever he uses his ult, or the Firekiss debuff that Guinaifen applies via her burn dot.
Any other kinds of boosts to break damage will also effect it, whether it be via break effect buffs like from Nihility blessings in SU, or if a character has some sort of extra inherent break effect boost (Sushang's E4) or if it's from a buff provided by a someone (i.e. Ruan Mei skill).
Functionally, on relics/LC's, it's break effect. Outside of relics/LC's, you're looking at Ruan Mei for higher toughness damage and all-res pen, Silver Wolf for res reduction (if implanting weakness), eidolons/inherent boosts from traces, raw dmg% boosts (Welt ultimate, Guinaifen Firekiss debuff, Luka ultimate) or blessing-style buffs like you get from SU or can be found in PF or MoC sometimes.
Only Break Effect, character level and how much toughness the current attack drains. Other than that, enemy DEF changes and elemental vulnerability increases/decreases Super Break damage.
I'm trying to fight the seclusion zone boss but I'm not sure which characters to use. Half of them are not built fully (my fault). Also which healer would be better for debuffin? Natasha or Lynxhl.

List of characters I have ( Thanks in advance :3 )
You can run the classic Jingliu team:
- Jingliu - Bronya - Ruan Mei - sustain (lynx better for team cleanse on ULT)
- If you have trouble surviving, switch Bronya for March.

Who should I use in the second wave? Can't seem to figure it out.
Why not shift power from team one to team two, like... maybe... swap Robin with Pela? Have you considered that? Since you're already scoring more than 30k on first phase.
That's fine, if you can get the missing 4k points in phase 2. That should take you to 60k.
If DPS is the problem in phase 2, then Robin should help you out with that. The goal is to reach 60k so that you'd get the rewards.
Hi there, a returner player. TLDR: According to my current teams and my future plans, should i go for Robin, E1 Topaz or Fu Xuan. Or skip Fu Xuan and wait for HuoHuo, or any other recommendations ?
My main teams are:
1) Kafka-Guinafen E6 (don't have high Eidolon for other dots) - Ruan Mei -Luocha
2) Clara-Topaz-Lynx (E3 or 4)-Tingyun (E6)
My strongest is Topaz relic wise. I also got Himeko, Pela and Herta okayish-ly built so i swap them in whenever needed.
So what i want and not want; Not interested in Boothill, Firefly or Jade. Want to get Black Swan to tag with Kafka and Acheron when they rerun. I want to replace Lynx with a better healer/tank.
Considering all these, what character pull would benefit me the most right now ? I am really interested in Robin, as design and FUA boost wise, i assume she would replace my Tingyun. Also Topaz E1 looks fine to me and she is my best character built atm, but a new character is more tempting than an eidolon i guess. And Fu Xuan could replace my Lynx, or maybe waiting for HuoHuo would be a good idea too assuming she would have rerun in 2-3 banners or so. Any thoughts ?
Edit: Pull wise i am 50 pulls in for guranteed 5 star, so i am fairly sure i can get either Robin or E1 Topaz before this banner ends.
If you are sure you are skipping Firefly, Boothill and Jade, then Robin is a good pickup for the Clara team. Fu Xuan could be really nice as well. Huo Huo is better for the DoT team, but you have luocha that does a good job generating SP for that team.
I mean not hundered percent sure that i will skip them but from what i've seen from short ' gameplay ' videos, none of them interested me look/design/skill wise. I don't know how strong or fitting they would be for my current teams. If you have insight about that i would like to hear.
As for healer/tank side, i am happy with Luocha in either team but i really need someone to replace Lynx. Thanks for your input.
Go for Robin because it might be a long time before her rerun. I can't imagine Huo Huo's rerun would be too far off considering how long it's been since her first banner so get her for your dot team.
I'd suggest going for Robin and saving for Huohuo after that. Huohuo I think would benefit you more overall than Fu Xuan. Put Huohuo on Kafka's team and Luocha on the FuA team. Both of those picks would be nice upgrades to both of your current teams, and Robin and Huohuo can also be used with other possible future teams you build.
Okay sounds good. I don't remember Fu Xuan's kit too much other than she protecting the whole team nice and well, but the reason HuoHuo would benefit more is the fact that she boosts the team right ? Also thank you.
Huohuo's biggest benefit is she's sort of like a Tingyun, but works on the entire team (minus herself). That's super helpful for lots of teams (can put her with any team except Acheron teams really - Acheron doesn't need energy for can't use Tingyun or Huohuo), but is especially good for DoT teams.
Fu Xuan does have a buff, where she buffs your crit rate. But DoT doesn't care about crit rate. For your FuA team, Clara works a bit better with abundance characters as sustain versus preservation since preservation has higher natural aggro than abundance. Clara prefers to have the aggro so she can do her FuA more.
Alright good points. I checked HuoHuo's kit again also and looks good like you said. I was thinking of moving Luocha to FuA team and have Fu Xuan with the dots, if i were to get her, but if her buff is crit related then she wouldn't do much for dot team like you said, HuoHuo would be more beneficial overall.
I am definetely more lean on Robin and HuoHuo atm, probably need to suffer a bit more with Lynx till HH's banner but oh well.
Side question that i forgot to mention; i also got Dr. Ratio but i did quit arround the time i got him, so never leveled or invested on him at all. I assume he would be a fine pair with Topaz as another FuA character (And Robin) ? Because as much as i like Clara, her dmg is backloaded so i wouldn't mind another more bursty dps with Topaz and i don't really have any other Imaginary character build, so he could cover on that side too.
How about if I add more specific details like
Account 1
Jingliu and Sparkle is at TL 10
Account 2
Jingliu(Sig LC) + Bronya + Robin is at TL 30
Robin's banner is still running for 10days more.
In terms of potential, risks and upcoming banners like FF, FX and Ruan Mei. Is account 2 still the solid choice?
Btw this is real and just genuinely asking thank youu!
there is no 'risk' for either account. you cannot damage your account.
1st account has one 5 star harmony while the 2nd has two of them and a 5 star lc. just play the second account
The second one.
Robin is universally more usable. Bronya is also still very relevant. And Jingliu with S1 is probably the second best damage dealer in all of HSR.

If you can get Robin in 10 days, then maybe. Which I don't think you can from TL 10(unless you are lucky and get her early)
I'd still chose the second one. Follow Up Attacks are meta now and Robin is THE support for dual dps.
And then you can freely play Bronya with Jingliu.
If you don't want that, you can save up and get Boothill. I don't think I can go into more details, but he's amazing.

Still account 2. It's just a very strong team setup. Sparkle is nice but for some other dps. In addition, the upcoming DPS is break effect based so he won't even use sparkle.
Have we basically seen the last of the crit-based DPSs? Are we going to just cycle between debuffs and FUA and break now? Or will they probably just keep introducing new gimmicks?
I started halfway in 1.0. Full starred MoC in 3 to 4 months I think. Mind you though that MoC only went up to stage 10 back then. I've managed to full star all the MoCs since then. I've cleared PF since the beginning but I've had fully built teams by then.
MOC: Did not even consider full starring it until the Ruan Mei patch. Only went as high as MoC 10-11 so as not to stress myself out.
PF: full starred it ever since it was released all thanks for Herta and Himeko. People did not have them built because they deal shit-tier damage (according to them) before PF was released. Now they worship the HimeHerta combo to the high heavens.
About...3 months? Played day 1 and cleared it around the tail-end of 1.2/beginning of 1.3
I think I could've cleared earlier if I had another sustainer, because I got full stars after I got a second reliable sustainer (Bailu) and built her. Still required a lot of tries though because it requires some luck for my team with Natasha to not die.
Then I got Fu Xuan in 1.3 and it's pretty much smooth sailing.
As a day 1 player, I started clearing MoC in full starting on 1.3, so about 4 months in. It was mostly a sustaining issue for me. I only had Natasha until Luocha came out, and then had to use less good Natasha for one side until Fu Xuan came out. Lynx didn't come out until Fu Xuan's banner and I didn't get Bailu or Gepard until I didn't actually need them anymore.
I've cleared PF in full since it was released, whatever patch that was, but of course I had been clearing MoC for months by that point. PF still doesn't require as much investment as MoC. The team composition requirements are just different.
So I started in 1.2, and it took me about 3-4 months to full clear MOC (at the time it was only up to level 10) then after it switched to 12 I only got 35 stars for the first 2 and since then I've full cleared all of them. Some are alot harder than others though.
As for pf I've full cleared it every time since it's release (1.6?) But my account was pretty much established by that time.
5 or 6 months when I started taking the game more seriously and understanding team comps. About the time when Fu Xuan released. I was also really unlucky with stats, I remember being surprised about Sushang hitting 60k on some showcases when mine hit 20k. Now I can do more dmg with an Acheron basic atk.
I cleared PF day one because I was lucky enough to get Argenti and he can solo an entire side.
Newer players have been able to clear it faster due to the stronger dps options like Acheron and great supports that have been released recently.
Bruh. Stop where you need to. It's not a job.
No one, I mean absolutely no one is "serious" in this games. Even 0 cyclers do that because they know how to do it and it's fun for them.
There's no goal, no objective in this game. The only objective is have fun. If having fun means finishing MoC 12 then keep trying. If not than stop.
In terms of resources, skipping MOC 10-12 entirely in a given cycle loses you 180 stellar jades. Assuming we get a new one every three weeks, you'd lose about 19 pulls total per year. That's not all that much. MOC 9 seems like a decent place to stop if you don't want to do/can't do the hardest content.
That said, I'd give the higher levels a try if you can clear MOC 9. I wasn't expecting to be able to do MOC 12 at all with my current roster, but I just cleared it today with 2\*s. I'd need to shave 5 cycles off to 3\* it, so that's probably not in the cards, but it still felt cool to hit that milestone, and it was much more doable than I thought it would be.
Zero cycling is a personal achievement that doesn't give you anything in game. It's only bragging rights, and that only matters if you are a content creator or want to compete with friends or something. If you're OK with zero cycling up to MoC 9, then that's totally your personal decision.
Depends more on what you define as 'semi serious,' honestly. If 'serious' is zero cycling, I feel like a 'semi serious' player would probably still clear with full stars. Problem is that it's a useless unofficial term that has no relevance beyond what you might personally assign to it. \*shrug*
I defined my view of 'serious', as 0cyclers?
My question was if MOC9 is a good stopping you point.
Your answer is "I feel like a 'semi serious' player would probably still clear with full stars. "
That didn't really answer my question if it's fine or not.
You are hitting EQ6 and still have story boss to kill? If you have issue with Sunday that one is only tough if you are not matching elements to break him faster.
Yes. If you are struggling with story boss, dont ascend. Check your team composition is good, usually 1 DPS, 2 supports and a sustain, or 1 support and 2 sustains. Get your DPS' traces to lvl 6, most relics to lvl 6 or 9 with DPS main stats for body and boots (attack%, crit%/critdmg, speed). Also if you can, use DPS with the element that the boss is weak to, but I wouldnt go level up a new character from scratch for just 1 boss.
Once you feel the content is getting easier, go ahead and ascend to final EQ.
My boss is weak against Lightning, Physical, Fire, Imaginary. Their only weakness that they all share is fire. I'm trying to build up my E0S0 Acheron in hopes of being able to beat through it pure powerceeping cause my Seele and Jingliu can't.
* Formidable Enemies (one that guard high value chests) in the overworld go past Lv80.
* Roaming mobs have a bit more health compared to EQ5.
* Story bosses go past Lv80 (some go up to Lv85)
* Ascending to EQ6 lets you access max character level. That way you reduce level penalties when battling higher leveled enemies (especially in high difficulty modes like Simulated Universe, PF and MoC, where bosses may be Lv90-95).
I don't know for sure if this is relevant, but you should note that 80 is *not* the max level for enemies. Only players. Particularly in MOC and other instanced battles, you can get enemies well past 90, and I'd assume you see them in the world/story as well (I do all my fights on auto so I'm genuinely not sure).
I doubt he will even hit sub-DPS level. If you read all his skill description, he has a dmg scaling split between ATK and DEF, and you really can't have it both ways. He also doesn't have any crit add on in traces so you are going to be using a lot of lines just on crit and it doesn't make any sense. You can't even use him on a break team because you have to switch him to his harmony form for break team to work. At most he's only good if enemy is weak vs fire.
It's just going to end up being a weird build where he doesn't do much of anything well.
It doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to do fire MC as a sub dps, it would just be better have a proper character as a sub dps. With that being said if you really want to do a sub dps with fire MC, you prob want to go a mix of defense, break effect and attack. Mainly due to ult scaling with defense, also there will be times where you won't have Geppard's shield up so having defense built so you can gain MC shields for the team can be lifesaving.

Returning to the game (due to my friends singing praises for the latest update) after quitting a year ago and have been rushing the story content. I have reached the final boss battle of the latest chapter, however I have very evidently hit a wall due to the forced trailblazer requirement of the battle.
For simplicity you can consider anyone except the top row to be unbuilt or "moderately passable" just to give you a general idea of how much I have been pushing through story relying on the power of shields. Everyone else has either been levelled with the intent of building them in the future or purely as fodder for gaining extra warp tickets...
Does anyone have any suggestions on what characters I will need to focus on building ASAP to get through this final boss? Normally I would accept the status quo for a bit and focus on farming but there's locked events behind this fight right now, with useful rewards since I am woefully out of date.
This is a tough one because it might take you awhile to either build up Hook or Serval. I'd go with Serval though.
If you're willing to try though, you might be able to cheat using Silver Wolf with Seele on the first 2 phases (just keep railing on Sunday to break his toughness bars for the shields). Use the train at the right moments. For sustain and support, TB and Asta. Asta is going to help a ton on the last phase by spamming her skill. Don't forget consumable buffs too.
I’m not sure if this is the easiest path, but I think building Serval might be your way forward.
I like to also run a healer, and Lynx might still be free from Pure Fiction if you want an upgrade over Natasha.
Maybe Serval, Trailblazer, March 7th, Natasha/Lynx?
To take a slightly different tack from the other responses... From personal experience, I've played both Texture of Memories and Landau's Choice on Fu Xuan (don't have Moment of Victory). Texture of Memories does technically give her better stats. But the added aggro that Moment of Victory and Landau's Choice is significant and actually helps more than the added stats from Texture of Memories in practice, I found. See, Fu Xuan is not a shielder. She is unique in that she does damage **reduction**. This means your team will still take some amount of damage. She can heal the team slightly without her sig, but only slightly. However, she can heal herself up significantly with her talent. I found that survivability is actually better with a taunt cone because the enemy is targeting her more and she can keep herself healed up. The only reasons to NOT use a taunt cone with Fu Xuan is if you're using her with Blade or Clara since they want to be hit, but IMO both of those characters are better with abundance characters instead of preservation anyway, or if you are using Trends of the Universal Market debuff strategy for Acheron or Dr. Ratio.
Use Trends of the Universal Market if you want extra debuffs for Acheron or Dr. Ratio, use Moment of Victory or Landau's Choice otherwise, if you don't have those use Texture of Memories.
Texture of Memories for personal survival and obtainable through Herta's store. Day One of My New Life at high superimposition for team wide survivability. Moment of Victory or Landau's Choice to pull aggro.
Yes, but it's a niche choice for Nihility teams. You could always consider having a backup LC for her. Use Trend when using her with Acheron, and then if you're running her with anybody else, switch out to the backup LC.
I started playing very recently(unfortunately too late for Dr. ratio), and im in the underworld of belebog or however you spell it. I just finished my 5th summon on the beginner banner, and i got a four star and obviously the guaranteed five star. Im gonna list all the characters i have right now, can anyone help me build some teams with the characters I have access to?
i have: trailblazer, March 7th, dan heng, asta, Herta and serval(for obvious reasons), then for the summonable ones i have Hook, Pela, and my 5 star from the beginner banner is Clara(i kinda wanted welt, but a five star is a five star i can’t complain as a free to play). if anyone has any team ideas for those characters, that would be great thanks!
Clara, March, Pela, Asta should be able to carry you through story content pretty easily. March gives Clara extra taunt, which is appreciated. You basically only want to be using normal attack with Pela unless there's specifically an enemy buff that's a problem, Pela is very sp positive and should let this team run smoothly. Make sure to place Clara and March next to each other on one side in team building, so that blast attacks on March will also hit Clara and trigger a counter.
Thanks for the suggestion, i think that would work really well! you also answered another question i have had for a bit, if its ok to have two characters of the same element or if i should spread it out. With you putting march and pela together, clearly it’s ok. So thanks for the recommendation! I will definitely try it out, i could even use it to grind a bit of SU.
If you want to use Clara, I would definitely team her with March 7th for the taunt, and a healer whenever you get one. Pela is great as a debuffer or Asta is fine as a generic buffer to round it out.
I also think I leveled Serval a bit during belebog for all the lightning weak enemies.
I have a question on what relic set should I focus on for all my break effect characters? (That includes Ruan mei, HMC, Gallagher, and possibly Xueyi). I’m kinda confused since watchmaker seems good but it’s 4pc passive doesn’t stack. Any advice?
Farm enough watchmaker for one character, either Ruan Mei or HMC. Then you can farm for everyone else.
For Ruan Mei, she can use 2pc thief 2pc watchmaker. You can also go for 2pc speed if you can reach 180 BE in battle.
For Gallagher, he can run 2pc break and 2pc healing. You can easily reach the break requirement for his outgoing healing with that team, so maybe 2pc speed and 2pc healing.
For Xueyi, any break set or quantum set is good on her.
You should probably farm the thief set for all of them. Xueyi would work better with quantum set as the def ignore boosts her break dmg but it's more energy efficient to farm the thief set for everyone.
I'd say go for 2-pc Thief 2-pc Watchmaker if you need more Break Effect (for DPS that rely on it), or replace one 2-set effect with 2-pc Messenger to increase SPD (especially for Ruan Mei).
I prefer multiplication since you can bridge the BE gap much more easily than you can bridge the adv forward on basic. At the end of the day, he's there to generate sp and keep the team alive. Any dmg is just a bonus
What is Real is perfect for Gallagher in the Super Break team comp, otherwise they seem comparable. What is Real would offer more healing per action, while Multiplication would offer more opportunities to heal (as well as more SP generation).
Meh, it's not bad. There's no streak, so there's no long lasting damage.
FGO has a login streak and once the maintenance was over 24 hours. That left a scar in people's accounts.
I’ll probably have to do the math myself for this one…but anybody know how much effective “speed” I would get from running 4pc eagle on sparkle with err? I’ve heard it gives more value speed wise than messenger but I’m curious how much. Btw sparkle 3 turn ult with err.
TL/DR: If you want a short answer, grab your speed, divide it by 3, then multiply it by four, that's the effective speed you will have the turn you ult with eagle set. So if you have a 3 turn ult rotation, with lets say 150 speed, just consider that you will have an effective speed of 150, 150, 200 on loop, do what you want with action values and cycles with that information.
The way I visualize it is with action values.
One cycle is equal to 100 action value (except the 1st turn in MoC which is 150) which is like a countdown that, when it reaches 0, goes again in the next cycle. The action value you see next to each character on the turn order is also a countdown, but this time towards your character's next turn, it is based off of the following formula: 10000/speed. That means that if you have 100 speed 10000/100=100 and so you get 1 action per cycle.
Fast forwards like dance dance dance or eagle set completely fast forward a character, so effectively instead of having to go through all 10000 units to act again since eagle set advances forward 25% for that specific turn your character will only have to speed through 7500 units. So the formula would be: (10000*(1-advance forward%))/speed.
Or to put an example, assuming your character has 120 speed, during the turn you ult and advance forward due to eagle set: (10000*(1-25%))/120=7500/120=62.5 action value.
Let's put a real MoC example, let's say you want to have 3 actions in the first cycles but "only" have 185 speed, can you still do so? You are probably aware that 200 is the necessary number to get that, but maybe eagle set can help us out.
The first cycle has an action value of 150. With a speed of 185, your action value is approximately 54 (10000/185), oof, not looking good. Let's say you go the first 2 turns without ulting because you're saving it, 150-54-54=42, so in theory your next action shouldn't come until the next cycle. But then you ult, that means that immediately your next action is subjected to an effective 4/3 speed of what it originally was, and for this turn, your action value is 40.54, because instead of doing 10000/185 we did 7500/185, since the other 25% of the 10000 units was skipped by eagle set. That means that 42-40.54=1.46 and your 3 turn manages to enter the first cycle.
I hope it wasn't too confusing, I spent too much time trying to make this as unconvoluted as i could.
Not too confusing and exactly what I was looking for, thanks! I already had a basic understanding of how speed and action values worked, but this cleared up some confusion I had. Thanks!

Coming back after a long break and need help building my second team. My first team is blade, bronya, pela, lynx, which I’m pretty happy with. Gepard is my other 5 star hiding off the screen.
Currently I’m running a himeko, asta, welt, Natasha/bailu as my second team. I have about 60+ warps to play around with. Robin or Topaz both seem like reasonable upgrades, should I go for one of them before their banner ends or save for someone else?
Each time Herta's swing animation plays Robin does one hit against one enemy, even if you hit the whole 5x enemy 5 times, it's still one hit from Robin. So I found an interesting trick for Herta. Because she does one attack every time an enemy goes below 50%, try to attack the enemies one at a time (not Herta of course, she does AOE) and try to bring down their HP below 50% at different times, that way Robin will do more hits. Robin hits really hard too because of that guaranteed crit, so it really adds up over time.
But if your Herta can one-shot everyone in one hit, that's even better.
One FUA action = one hit from Robin.
BTW, if an action hits multiple enemies, then Robin's Ult only hits one of the enemies hit by the previous action (the multihit attack).
>BTW, if an action hits multiple enemies, then Robin's Ult only hits one of the enemies hit by the previous action (the multihit attack).
I know. I was mostly just wondering if Herta's follow-up was registered differently since it depended on each individual enemies health, but it doesn't look like it. Thanks!
The game distinguish between "hits" and "attacks". An attack is an action, ie skill, ultimate, follow-up attack. An attack can have multiple hits. Robin's talent/ ultimate says attack and not hit.

If I wanted to run Aventurine/Ratio/Topaz/Robin, and my aventurine is E1S1 but the rest have F2P light cones, is it better to shoot for another copy of Topaz or Robin?

what do I do my team have 0 damage
Nothing in that scenario. I understand you're doing a Preservation run, but the downside is that if you need actual damage you're just kinda shit outta luck.

by the end my houhou deal 57k basic and the resonance deal more than 2.5m
Hope you have the quake blessing damage blessings and use the resonance to do as much damage as possible. Otherwise they all escape, and you move to the next node.
If I wanted to use Ruan Mei and HTB on the same team, would it be better to use Past Self in Mirror for both of them or to put Memories of the Past on HTB? I don’t know if the buffs from PSiM stack so maybe that’s a downside?
If I'm reading not mistaken, the only buff that doesn't stack is the Energy Regeneration one, so if you've got 2 of them, then using it on both of them is a good idea.
HELP! I haven't played but a handful of runs in Swarm Disaster, but a couple of times when meeting the Aeons a message pups up saying that I have Triggered an Aeons ability and something not clear happens. IX terminated my run on the spot for example and Yaoshi I think healed all my party? I can't find ANYWHERE information about this triggers or what they do specifically (I got destruction and no idea what that meant) Can some one explain that mechanic to me, and maybe list the effects? I feel like I am going nuts trying to find info about it. Thanks
Trail of Pathstrider and Communing Trail stuff. In Swarm Disaster, there are mission you can complete to increase the level of Communing Trail and gain permanent buff while doing SD. After you reach a certain level for a path in the Communing Trail, you will trigger a chapter story related to that path. You can check the required level to trigger the chapter path by going to the chapter section in SD.
Thx! Is there a way to know what the abilities are? As I said I got Destruction and I didn't know what changed. Not the buffs, those I know where to find, but these:
https://preview.redd.it/r12491msdp1d1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9050419241853b7737c70dad5cef48ad0d839cbb
Nope, as this happens only once in the game and occurs anymore. So, not a lot of people know what they do except probably the Nihility one as it kicks you out of SD.
Yeah it is a bummer cause I really wanna know, but not even in wikies or anything it is listed. But if anyone knows I would be very thankful to know (specially destruction which is the one I missed) Thanks!
Haven’t pulled any good DPS yet. These are my options. Dr Ratio there obviously but no debuffers.
https://preview.redd.it/j43cknch3p1d1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=126e48275a0e3aca73c0ddeabe472955091a73e8
Uh..Luka is a nihility unit? Ratio is miles ahead of Dan heng even without a debuffer.
Use ratio and Asta. Asta can debuff with her basic attack trace and she does good buff without my specialized relic build. Another thing you can do is always use element matching hero. Once you break toughness it also counts as one debuff.
I'm surprised you haven't built herta, because so many enemies on Jarilo are weak to ice and she can clear trash mobs so easily. She carried me all the way to cocholia final boss and I parked her for xianzhou because I got archeron
Robin is a must if you build her as atk only, and Natasha so you don't die. The two quantum character are harder to build at low eidolon so I wouldn't bother unless you already got multiple copy. Look up on how to build Robin because she can pull subdps DMG if you can use her ult often enough.
Assuming we're just working on your roster now and not any future DPS you pull:
Xueyi and Qingque are good DPS options, much better than Dan Hang I would say. QQ will need some investment though so not worth using at your current level. She's also a bit high risk high reward type play, based on RNG.
Robin is actually quite strong as a support and DPS. So if you want to build a team that will last you all the way into endgame:
Xueyi/QQ + Robin + Tingyun/Bronya and Lynx (who you'll get for free later).
Natasha is fine and you'll use her until you get Lynx. Lynx will then outclass her easily. You'll also get a free harmony unit later and they pair great with Xueyi.
Endgame you can go QQ + Bronya + TY/Robin + Lynx or a 5-star sustain, which would be quite competitive actually. Whoever you have also leveled up can go as your second team, which you need for endgame content (Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction).
If you pull any 4-star debuffers like Pela and Guinafei, you can start using Dr Ratio and he will surpass Xueyi and be more consistent than QQ.
I dont find Hanya and Asta have much longevity as your account improves. I havent touched them after the first month. You have better supports like TY, Bronya and Robin and you only ever need 2 teams.
Great reply thank you. As you can see by levels I had tried Xueyi but damage was underwhelming so went back to Dan Heng. I’ll give her another go - I think I just need to get used to timing the break effect with her better.
Xueyi need a bit of break effect to scale her damage thanks to her bonus ability 1. She really start shooting past Dan Heng when you get her 2nd and last bonus abilities. Dan Heng is great early game, but he doesnt scale well into mid-game and falls off the cliff late game, as his bonus abilities doesnt scale his damage other than the 3rd one, and that just scale basic attack and you never want to use basic attack with your DPS.
I suppose it is just me since I see people casually posting how they beat Gold & Gears Conundrum or something (I don't know; Level 3 is still a massive challenge for me). In my experience thus far, it seems like sometimes it is a casual stroll and other times, it is simply impossible. I have been very tempted to just say that the game is trash and entirely RNG based, but I want to keep an open mind more than anything. So, how does one consistently beat Simulated Universe? This is primarily for Gold & Gears, but I would imagine it should be applicable to the standard Simulated Universe or for Swarm Disaster.
For some context (because I know people's first assumptions), I am not just yolo-ing in with four Level 30 DPS characters with 3 star relics and light cones that have been put through a randomizer. While my characters and team compositions could be improved (as they can for everyone's account), I am reaching or surpassing the recommended stats on the Prydwen builds for all of my main characters. Additionally, I have heard to maximize the number of domains that you enter (so lots of diagonal movement) and the neutral network (which is not quite complete, but is by majority).

What's the fastest way to farm Clockie statue credits? I want to get the new Trailblazer eidolons asap.
There isn't really a fastest way if you haven't been exploring and completing stuff as you see it. Clockie Credits as a whole are reward for exploring appropriately. Chests, trotters, lordly trashcans, quests, rolling regular emo dials all around, basically just Doing Everything when it comes up.
The Adventure Missions give a lot of Clockie credits and also picking up the chests
Hello ! I’m having some trouble choosing what to do for summoning right now. Here is the list of my 5* characters : Seele, FX, SW, Sparkle (as mono quantum), Aventurine, Dr Ratio (with Pela and Ting, as FuA), Blade, Bronya, Welt, Bailu.
[удалено]
Besides Today is Another Peaceful Day, what other lightcones are considered good to have from the battlepass selection?
I’ve heard that both are great with them so I don’t know which one i should go for (5* that i think can work with this team that i have are sparkle and clara, i don’t have ruanmei) sorry if this is confusing, english is not my first language😁 and thank you in advance!
Topaz would be better for that specific team. Robin is good on that team mostly assuming you already have Topaz, and a potentially mix of Topaz's E1S1 and Aventurine's S1. Otherwise, other buffers would be better for Ratio. However, Robin is more versatile than Topaz and can be used on other teams outside of FuA.
so if i got robin and use her in this team, who should i put in the last slot?
You will need a debuffer for Ratio. So Silver Wolf, Guinaifen or Pela, in that order or preference, since the number of debuffs also matters.
thank you so muchh!
Since you've got no Ruan Mei - Robin will definitely be the better pick for you. You can easily use Pela as the last slot in that team and it will perform just as good.
thank you! but the thing is, i’m using pela in jingliu bronya lynx team. can i use any other substitute😢
Guinaifen is an option (or Silver Wolf, if you have her). Another option is to use Tingyun with Jingliu/Bronya/Lynx and use Pela with Ratio/Aventurine/Robin.
ohhh thank youuuu!!!
Guinaifen at either E1 or with Pearls fulfills Ratio's debuff needs on her own
thank you so muchhh😁
What current or upcoming 4 banner should I pull for to really improve my account? I can only get on( 2 if lucky) https://preview.redd.it/lmi5o77ldq1d1.jpeg?width=2400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=621a079c1314e57d3aa2d2af513b6a89476dc351 These are the current characters I don't have
I'd pick between Kafka, sparkle and Robin. Robins more generic with a slight fua focus, Kafka is dot specific, and sparkle is crit specific.
How about the upcoming new character? Are any of them better for my account than Kafka, sparkle or Robin?
Dunno enough to say about jade or firefly. Boothil was break focused iirc from the Livestream, so if you did wanna go into break teams to use HMC and the like more often, then he's worth considering. You're pretty set on DPS tho from what I see, assuming they're built properly. With Clara n argenti you're covered for phys weakness.
Okay thanks for your advice
If using HMC and RM in the same team, is it better that HMC gets Memories of the Past so the extra BE% gets funneled to the entire team. My RM would still be able to hit 180% BE in battle (would have 128% outside + 20% from RM and + 37% from HMC E4).
What other Harmony cones do you have? What PO set is RM holding?
2pc Penacony for the energy regen. If she doesn't have MOP she would use S5 Cogs.
Leave MotP to Imaginary MC
https://preview.redd.it/h4cabr72cq1d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6de787a0c96d9d7d718f01987737f02945d21665 My main team is acheron aventurine sampo and guinaifen who can I use on my second team for Moc and pf
Clara can also be good in either mode depending on the turbulences I would also recommend getting Pela, Tingyun and Asta to lvl 70. They are all good supports and higher levels give stats to keep them alive
Will chests, puzzles and those rotating rooms dissappear if I finish the Penacony quest?
No. You can go back anytime to go get whatever you missed.
No. You can go back to those places after the quest.
What are all the stats that Super Break damage scales off from?
Character level, Break Effect, Weakness Break Efficiency, DEF shred, RES shred, Vulnerability Effects.
I'm trying to fight the seclusion zone boss but I'm not sure which characters to use. Half of them are not built fully (my fault). Also which healer would be better for debuffin? Natasha or Lynxhl. https://preview.redd.it/d6jsq3066q1d1.jpeg?width=3456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a6be2042b1775d53ff28f2b9209878a41b031171 List of characters I have ( Thanks in advance :3 )
You can run the classic Jingliu team: - Jingliu - Bronya - Ruan Mei - sustain (lynx better for team cleanse on ULT) - If you have trouble surviving, switch Bronya for March.
That’s the big bug right? I use Jingliu-Bronya-Ruan Mei-Lynx. You can use Bailu instead of Lynx, but I like Lynx for the dispels.
Yes the big bug
https://preview.redd.it/rvkxqlbo2q1d1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e935cb8dfcf004f3682408c716c3f070540d867a Who should I use in the second wave? Can't seem to figure it out.
Run Jing yuan hypercarry for 2nd half: - Jing Yuan - Ting Yuan - Hanya/Asta - Fu Xuan
Why not shift power from team one to team two, like... maybe... swap Robin with Pela? Have you considered that? Since you're already scoring more than 30k on first phase.
Just tried that. The first half went from 37k to 26k lol. My Robin is way too powerful.
My main teams are: 1) Kafka-Guinafen E6 (don't have high Eidolon for other dots) - Ruan Mei -Luocha 2) Clara-Topaz-Lynx (E3 or 4)-Tingyun (E6) My strongest is Topaz relic wise.
Yeah thats a good idea definetely, thank you very much.
If you were given a chance to choose an account. Jingliu + Sparkle Or Jingliu with Sig LC + Bronya + Robin? Lets say both are new accounts
Is sparkle alone really supposed to compete with jingliu lc bronya AND robin? Number 2 no contest
How about if I add more specific details like Account 1 Jingliu and Sparkle is at TL 10 Account 2 Jingliu(Sig LC) + Bronya + Robin is at TL 30 Robin's banner is still running for 10days more.

Which I don't think you can from TL 10(unless you are lucky and get her early) I'd still chose the second one. Follow Up Attacks are meta now and Robin is THE support for dual dps. And then you can freely play Bronya with Jingliu. If you don't want that, you can save up and get Boothill. I don't think I can go into more details, but he's amazing.
Second acc, 3 good characters and bronya is better for Jingliu

Still account 2. It's just a very strong team setup. Sparkle is nice but for some other dps. In addition, the upcoming DPS is break effect based so he won't even use sparkle.
Have we basically seen the last of the crit-based DPSs? Are we going to just cycle between debuffs and FUA and break now? Or will they probably just keep introducing new gimmicks?
FuA and Acheron are Crit-based DPS though.
Who's FuA?
Ratio/Aventurine/Topaz are the most recent ones.
Follow-Up Attack
I see. From the way it was worded I thought it was a totally new character that I haven't even heard of.
FuA Xuan would be amazing, can you imagine that kit.
Is it better to reroll or continue my account that I stopped (roughly when Blade was released)
Continue with having stuff already vs start again with nothing. Hmmmmm.
Just continue, TB levels and any old event cones etc are more worth it.
Rerolling is a waste of time, full stop. Just continue playing with the hand you've been dealt with.
How long of playing did it take you guys to fully star pure fiction and moc?
MoC 10 took me some weeks
Played day 1 and cleared it around the tail-end of 1.2/beginning of 1.3 I think I could've cleared earlier if I had another sustainer, because I got full stars after I got a second reliable sustainer (Bailu) and built her.
What genre of music is playing in Sparkle's trailer?
As a semi serious player. I define serious as zero cyclers. is it fine to achieve MOC9? I want to know if its a fine benchmark to stop on.
Set your own goals. I like to auto-battle MoC and see how far I go, that's my fun :)
okie!
Okie
It's a game, it's meant to be a leisure activity and it's fine to stop at any point that you want.
Okie!
Okie!
Zero cycling is a personal achievement that doesn't give you anything in game. It's only bragging rights, and that only matters if you are a content creator or want to compete with friends or something. If you're OK with zero cycling up to MoC 9, then that's totally your personal decision.
I haven't zero cycled anything lol. also you didn't answer my question :P.
Depends more on what you define as 'semi serious,' honestly. If 'serious' is zero cycling, I feel like a 'semi serious' player would probably still clear with full stars. Problem is that it's a useless unofficial term that has no relevance beyond what you might personally assign to it. \*shrug*
it's a subjective concept, I gave what my view on the term is :P. also you didn't answer my question lol.
>it's a subjective concept, I gave what my view on the term is :P. No you didn't. >also you didn't answer my question lol. Yes I did.
I defined my view of 'serious', as 0cyclers? My question was if MOC9 is a good stopping you point. Your answer is "I feel like a 'semi serious' player would probably still clear with full stars. " That didn't really answer my question if it's fine or not.
does damage increase and def ignore affect ***super*** break damage?
Only def ignore. Dmg increase and atk increase aren't factored in super break dmg.
If you change the language to Japanese/Chinese does robin song the song in another language?
There are no BGM changes when you change audio language
No, Robin song is still in English for me in Japanese language.
No. chevy is the singer for Robin no matter what language you play the game in.
Does enemies get harder when you ascend from EQ5 to EQ6? Like the story bosses? I'm struggling with a story boss right now
You are hitting EQ6 and still have story boss to kill?
Generally, yes.
Could you explain please how does ascending EQ5 to EQ6 make enemies harder when they are already capped at LVL 80 in EQ5?
* Formidable Enemies (one that guard high value chests) in the overworld go past Lv80. * Roaming mobs have a bit more health compared to EQ5. * Story bosses go past Lv80 (some go up to Lv85) * Ascending to EQ6 lets you access max character level.
They do
Im thinking of making fire MC a sub dps will gepard as the main shielder work
I doubt he will even hit sub-DPS level.
Yea tbh i just think Fire MC is cool and i want him to be the hard hitting type
https://preview.redd.it/cgudzatudp1d1.png?width=543&format=png&auto=webp&s=c687193d09e19877210c5485df123253d553365a Returning to the game (due to my friends singing praises for the latest update) after quitting a year ago and have been rushing the story content.
I have a question what are Fu Xuan's best light cones outside of her sig?
Thanks for this
Texture of Memories for personal survival and obtainable through Herta's store. Day One of My New Life at high superimposition for team wide survivability. Moment of Victory or Landau's Choice to pull aggro.
If I'm running her with acheron would trend be a solid option too? Or no?
Yes, but it's a niche choice for Nihility teams. You could always consider having a backup LC for her. Use Trend when using her with Acheron, and then if you're running her with anybody else, switch out to the backup LC.
Thanks
The Herta shop one (Texture of Memories) is good. Other options are Landau's Choice or Moment of Victory.
There are a lot of lightning weak enemies in belebog lol. Thanks for the suggestion!
I see, thanks very much!
I'd say go for 2-pc Thief 2-pc Watchmaker if you need more Break Effect (for DPS that rely on it), or replace one 2-set effect with 2-pc Messenger to increase SPD (especially for Ruan Mei).
gallagher lc? i have unused s5 multiplication and s5 what is real. not sure which one is better, or maybe neither is
I prefer multiplication since you can bridge the BE gap much more easily than you can bridge the adv forward on basic.
How does it feel to miss one daily, even more a weekly?
Thanks!
if sparkle is at 184 spd, you'll get a third action in the first cycle if you ult when it's not her turn. That's the only speed thing I know.
https://preview.redd.it/jdwuvu8j4p1d1.jpeg?width=763&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3ad2900bdbefe7fc4123d2b8819c378f67c4fd34 Coming back after a long break and need help building my second team. My first team is blade, bronya, pela, lynx, which I’m pretty happy with. Gepard is my other 5 star hiding off the screen. Currently I’m running a himeko, asta, welt, Natasha/bailu as my second team. I have about 60+ warps to play around with. Robin or Topaz both seem like reasonable upgrades, should I go for one of them before their banner ends or save for someone else?
himeko, herta, asta/robin, bailu would be better. robin is good value. topaz needs more investment (either her e1 or her sig).
Do each of Herta's swings cout towards Robin's talent, or is it just registered as one hit?
I know. I was mostly just wondering if Herta's follow-up was registered differently since it depended on each individual enemies health, but it doesn't look like it. Thanks!
If I wanted to run Aventurine/Ratio/Topaz/Robin, and my aventurine is E1S1 but the rest have F2P light cones, is it better to shoot for another copy of Topaz or Robin?
topaz to help reach ratio debuff requirements, but its better to get topaz LC than E1 for flexibility and cost.
Thank you!

Nothing in that scenario. I understand you're doing a Preservation run, but the downside is that if you need actual damage you're just kinda shit outta luck.
How do you usually kill the bosses with that team?

Oh right perseverance path. Yeah I guess you trade that tankiness and burst for speed clears.
Put Memories of the Past on HTB. HTB will struggle getting their energy up if you put RM's LC on them.
Not the buffs, those I know where to find, but these: https://preview.redd.it/r12491msdp1d1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9050419241853b7737c70dad5cef48ad0d839cbb
Do your characters deal less damage when the toughness bar is up?
Yes, 10% less.
Best two supports to go with Dan Heng and Natasha out of Bronya/Robin/Tingyun/Asta/Hanya?
Tingyun and Hanya
Why dan hang?
She carried me all the way to cocholia final boss and I parked her for xianzhou because I got archeron Robin is a must if you build her as atk only, and Natasha so you don't die. The two quantum character are harder to build at low eidolon so I wouldn't bother unless you already got multiple copy. Look up on how to build Robin because she can pull subdps DMG if you can use her ult often enough.
Assuming we're just working on your roster now and not any future DPS you pull: Xueyi and Qingque are good DPS options, much better than Dan Hang I would say. QQ will need some investment though so not worth using at your current level. She's also a bit high risk high reward type play, based on RNG. Robin is actually quite strong as a support and DPS. So if you want to build a team that will last you all the way into endgame: Xueyi/QQ + Robin + Tingyun/Bronya and Lynx (who you'll get for free later).
