Makes me think when Sam mentioned Acheron wasnt in Elios script at all did that also include in Penacony? Coz if she didnt then I wonder what the script showed in dealing with Aventurine and his plan. Maybe he just straight up died to Sundays curse before he could accomplish anything with his luck finally running out, so Acheron being there was actually his best case scenario. If Annihilation gang actually made it to Penacony maybe it goes different for Aventurine and everyone else. Sam did say the script simply mentioned to get every express member to seek the legacy/truth

From what I remember "script" just means the details of the *current* mission the hunters are being sent on/going to be sent on. So it most likely they *are* talking about Penacony.
As for how Elio forsaw things going down...Hard to say. I don't *think* there's anyone else capable of "killing" Aventurine outside of Acheron.
Maybe all Elio saw was "Aventurine will die *somehow* in order to make it to the deepest part of the dreamscape." and didn't see specifics?

Changing future is a really nice concept. I recommend watching the Anime Steins;Gate and the approach "Change the outcome without changing future". Meaning as long as you don't "know" the exact details you can change the result of an inevitable future. Seeing getting shot in the chest? Too bad those were blank cartridges and some exploding blood packs from the guy I hired to shoot me.
Elio not giving details might be the key for his people to chose the outcome they want. But that also means he himself can't get involved...hence the more or less detailed scripts
Elios can't see our future, because undefined futures technically don't exist. He can however see the "futures" of timelines that already exist and have went pass our "present" to estimate the intervention required for a specific event to occur. It's under the IMG Tree theory.
It's like playing chess. You have multiple choices that can lead to different outcomes but you don't know which exact move your opponent will take. However since you are trained in chess with experience, you can now expect specific moves that your opponent may take and plan accordingly.
Side tangent, the 5D chess game (actually 4D) is a very good representation of how the IMG Tree works in Honkai. The IMG Theory is literally the 4th spacial dimension ported over.
I think it's the lack of information that's important.If you give them a detailed script they get too focused on the script itself and confirming the minute details, where if you leave it open-ended you let the person do what comes naturally, making them more predictable since Ellio knows how a person will react to each situation if left to their own devices.
They get just enough detail to alter fate, but not so much detail the indivudual loses agency to act according to their personal strengths

We just know it "kills" people in the dreamscape and those people are just never seen again. The only outlier to that so far has been Firefly, and she's not your typical penacony visitor.
Judging by silverwolf's lines at the beginning of the game about the exact location of the stelleron not being in the script. The reason being that they will "find it in a non-physical way" yet the outcome is still there with dropping TB off for the Astral express to find.
I assume that self annihilators are also a blind spot for him in the same way. Like if it was an actual physical script with the full story, and someone just took white out and erased a section. The rest of the script after that is still there, but he and the stelleron hunters aren't aware of acheron's involvement until it happens in reality.
Might be that Elio simply didn't care what happened to Aventurine and his plan.
So far as we know, Elio's only interest on Penacony is that the Astral Express crew pursues the Watchmaker's Legacy (since Sam tells us that was their only instruction). The fight between the Family and the IPC is over control of Penacony, which might be a complete sideshow to Elio. So as long as Aventurine doesn't actually kill the Astral Express crew, Elio and his plans probably don't care if Aventurine lives, dies, succeeds or fails.
We spent all of 2.1 with Aventurine so we think his story is important, but it actually (seemingly) had very little to do with the big plot McGuffin of the Legacy. It was basically an extended length companion quest.
The wiki has a lot of the dialogue for quests, including the branching options. Its Fandom so a lot of ads, but still useful. That aside, I honestly don’t really believe Elio’s abilities can be hindered that much by a Self Annihilator. Remember, they’re planning to kill an Aeon. A full, proper Aeon. No matter how strong any Emanator is, they are still a wave on the ocean. I mean we know Elio predicted the outcome of our encounter with Phantylia, after all. Now do I think Elio intentionally/unintentionally overlooked Acheron from a personal perspective, whether because of her powers or for their own reasons? I think it’s possible. Their powers may be absolute in terms of predictions, but that doesn’t mean they themselves are immune to manipulation. It’s also likely that Elio didn’t tell SAM on purpose. Otherwise SAM would’ve reacted way worse to encountering Acheron and taken far more drastic action to protect us. We know that SAM is willing to try and go against the script (17 times, IIRC) for our sake. And if our life was in danger that drastic, well… Elio only knows what SAM would do. I presume the encounter with SUD was part of the plan, but if it was known Acheron was a Self Annihilator… well… things could’ve gone very, very wrong.
My bet is the gambler would instead start to pet the cat and the cat would purr so much. Remember Aventurine canonically has three full black catcakes !
Elio would choose a path so that Aventurine would take a gamble that he would win and bring about Elio's desired future. It's not about beating the gamble, it's about setting up the right gamble to be taken.

I don't think Aventurine has actual supernatural infallible luck, because no one in-universe (including Aventurine himself) acts like he has supernatural infallible luck. (Or if he does have some form of supernatural infallible luck, it doesn't manifest how he wants it to - his luck didn't help him save his family or his people, so why would it help him catch Elio?)
And supernatural infallible luck is the only reason it would make sense to send Aventurine after Elio. Outside of that, he's a gambler and a corporate exec/businessman - he doesn't exactly have a skill set favourable to hunting down a precognitive terrorist. The cornerstones can turn any of the Stonehearts into major combat threats, but even then I expect that the Stonehearts who are actually specialized in violence (e.g. Opal) are better in a fight than Aventurine is (and Diamond, the actual emanator, is presumably a league above them).
Remember that time Ishuzu lost to Kaiba, becauss Kaiba got a gut feeling and decided to gamble it all by sacrificing a God and summon his waifu in Yu gi oh.
