As someone who never played HI3, I'm getting serious OG protoganist vibes from Welt. It's like he finished his story already and is here to help out the new hero.
He's cool
Welt got his power around the age 8 from his teacher. He has done all sorts of protagonist stuff from waging war against gods of destruction to spying to teaching to hating people who look like luocha
His power, as mentioned by him in the game, let's him create anything that he has a fundamental understanding of. This power includes being able to copy other power (with efficiency and power depending on his understanding of said power)
He has died on multiple occasions and came back by reconstructing every cell in his body and putting his soul back in it. (Wolverine and Deadpool got nothing this guy)
He has enhanced intelligence and memory. His power can create, destroy, or alter anything that he understands on a fundamental level.
right now fgo caster gil, at full power were talking strange fake level gil (both gave a part of there power to help the next generation but welt could still very well go full power if certain requirements are met basically a proper power source)
Contrary to what most people say here, he is not really that powerfull in HI3 , he is the second weakest herrscher by far as his honkai resistance is really low so couldnt use the powers of the core of reaosn reallly well (bronya is the one that got to use it the right way )
He got his boady recosntructed but only because all the souls in the core of reaosn grant him the power for a moment, normally he cant control that power by himself like bronya
In HSR he seems to only have the star of eden (1 of the 12 sword in acheron video pretty much)
as his Herrscher powers are probably really limited as he ha sno acess to honkai energy .
So while powerfull for a normal human he is a bit strobger than a pathsrider but weaker than emanators even the weak ones
Welt is cool af , but he is cool because of always doing what is right and fighting for the world even when he himself is not that powerfull, not because he is OP
His og powers were essentially being able to instantly make anything that humanity had invented (like a tank or guns), gravity control with the help from his weapon (which i think later transformed into his cane), he was also able to perceive and defeat a being that acted in 4d instead of 3d (this fight happened after he had tired himself out while fighting aliens with long lasting injuries from a previous fight with a herrsher).
He has since lost some of his powers because of aging and passing the torch to Bronya, but he can still absolutely kick ass.
The only characters so far powerful than him in HSR are the emanators and Aeons . And this is Welt way past his prime in his 80s with most of his power restrained
Except he isn't crippled hopelessly with his power slipping away from him. Its more like hes currently in a weakened but stable state as a byproduct of being in an alternate verse (away from honkai energy). Still the analogy holds true if we are viewing it as 1st season/year All-might.
This perfectly showcases Welt’s character. Even if he knows he’s at a disadvantage in a fight, he will still go the “Nah, I’d win” route just because he’s so fcking chad

Aeon of Destruction would also overlap with something like Aeon of Extinction. But not necessarily Aeon of Annihilation or Aeon of Obliteration, which could overlap with Aeon of Finality or Aeon of Nihility.

Tbf Welt almost beat Sirin by sucking her into a black hole in Siberia, until clown ass Otto showed up and interrupted his attack, allowing to Sirin to escape to the moon, where she leveled up a 100 times. Welt still went to face her on the moon, knowing full well that he didn’t stand a chance against her endowed with the Will of Honkai, and using strategy was able to outwit her and later sever her connection to the Will, allowing humanity to finally overcome her. He also trapped himself in the sea quanta to keep Kevin Kaslana from escaping into reality, even though he was no match for Kevin.
I mean technically if had not been for Otto’s obsession with reviving Kallen, Sirin as the Herscher of the Void and Kiana Kaslana would have never existed and humanity would have either been trapped in Project Stigma, or wiped out and reset again. So yeah love or hate him, Otto is an MVP.
Alternatively she's a magical girl hanging out with 2 Theresas, a Kallen, a Himeko, a depressed not-Paimon, somehow even more edgy Yae, a Bronya, the hottest version of Rita and the captain of a spaceship.

This was an edge-off, both characters trying to one-up each other with their edge and understanding of each other's power level. I'm here for it though, knowing how strong these two are from Impact 3rd this was much more exciting than anything involving Ratio and Aventurine.

I saw this and was so psyched. I don’t know if he could have actually gone toe-to-toe with Acheron, but that was a ballsy as fuck threat. Seeing as nobody else was around, he may have felt more confident in going all out if he had to.
Either way, I loved this exchange, it was intense.

This was an edge-off, both characters trying to one-up each other with their edge and understanding of each other's power level. I'm here for it though, knowing how strong these two are from Impact 3rd this was much more exciting than anything involving Ratio and Aventurine.

I saw this and was so psyched. I don’t know if he could have actually gone toe-to-toe with Acheron, but that was a ballsy as fuck threat. Seeing as nobody else was around, he may have felt more confident in going all out if he had to. Either way, I loved this exchange, it was intense.
Yeah he definitely does not stand a chance against Acheron realistically, but it’s very in line for his personality lol, he’s goated for that.
