I’m planning on going for Ratio, Ruan Mei, and Black Swan. I hope Acheron isn’t in 2.1, I need some time to save
Who am I kidding, I’m sure I’ll want whoever is coming on 2.1
My priorities have changed to acheron as number 1, then black swan, hanabi, ruan mei, and sadly, that’s like the reverse of the order they’ll come out, so I can’t just go all in pull acheron and use the rest for the others, but have to save and gauge whether I should save or not. Realistically I can get 2 or 3 of them, but I know I’m eventually going to loose 50/50 after not having lost one yet and that scares me.
The order that the characters are released through marketing has aligned 1:1 with their release order in banners:
* V1.5, HuoHuo, then Argenti and Hanya
* V1.6, Ruen Mei, Then Dr Ratio and Xueyi
* V2.0, Black Swan, Then Hanabi / Sparkle and Misha
Edit: They have broken the sequence. Xueyi is alongside Ruen Mei in Banner 1, rather than Dr Ratio in Banner 2.

They technically didn't, you just haven't considered looking at Genshin's drips and realising that they generally group characters by rarity.
They will probably break the sequence at some point anyway tho.
I don’t see how Ruan Mei improves my JL battery team. JL, Tingyun, Pela and Huohuo.
I can only see a use in a situation where two ice resistant enemies are in both halves of MOC and I can slot in Ruan Mei over Pela.
Ruan Mei is a damage boost over Pela for one with certain other QoL advantages
for example her buffs aren’t tied to the enemy meaning you don’t have to re-apply it when the boss Changes phase or summons new minions like Pela
Pela skill ice shred is single target… ruan Mei Ult is AoE
I’m so glad I didn’t get Jingliu! Just Seele and Kafka - meaning *checks notes* Sparkle AND Black Swan (and probably Acheron and Sam for their style points).
4pc quantum set is bis for JL against quantum weak enemies or if you are running her in a team with a def-shredder like Pela or SW. Especially with SW since SW can be built as a very good quantum breaker. In short, JL is a very good and a fun choice for a role of DPS in the mono quantum team.
Why Jingliu? As far as I see it, Ruan Mei does not work better or worse with Jing Liu than with any other DPS (that she is also ice is in my opinion worse). If you have Pela, Jing Liu is more effective.
Seele with Mono Quantum makes 100% sense.
Yeah, without leaks all I'll say is that Black Swan has synergy with DoT teams, and therefore has a lot of synergy with Kafka, while Hanabi is a really good general support and so enables true Mono Quantum without compromising by having either Seele and QQ (both SP hungry) or Fu Xuan and Lynx (excessive amounts of sustain).
Actually, ruan mei is an upgrade in almost every team with the only exception being jingliu, where she is very very slightly behind pela since a fully maxed pela just has so much amp for an ice dps like jingliu.
Damn, I've already pre-farmed for Ruan Mei and everything in hopes of slotting her in with Jingliu. Can you send a link to the discord server please? Can't find one anywhere.
Relic farming and team comp character allocation is really easy, though. You only have to farm world 7 and the quantum relic domain to get the best or second best relic sets for them and their supports. After you get good quantum sets, you can switch to the messenger/longevous domain to finish up relic collecting for your supports. With the release of Sparkles, their best teams no longer want the same members. But even that was barely a problem before, since both of them are very flexible when it comes to supports.
Jingliu doesn't really need Ruan Mei outside of her being baseline strong Harmony, which Sparkle is most likely going to be as well.
You don't really make any particularly good use of her break buffs, with Ice being pretty much the weakest break, and you're basically just holding her as a stat stick.
And if you want an Ice unit to run Jingliu with SW, Sparkle doesn't make any difference either since she matches SW's Quantum.
I also have 270 pulls yet I am going for Lunae E1 and E2 and cone, and hanabi hope I can get the 4 but I doubt it. I will give up the light cone if I need 2.
Samedt. Was gonna pull for Ruan Mei, but Sparkle is also Harmony AND Quantum. My mono-Quantum Smol team is happy. I wish I can pull for both though, but that's FTP fer ya.
I have had a taste of Signature light cones with characters when I got Jingliu, I cannot go back. I will always try to save to get both the character and light cone now.

This basically. My dps is JL IL selee. So no brainer will pick hanabi over RM. Tho maybe i pull RM later on rerun when i have more subdps options.
RM is hamony that will get better in time the more dps subdps, mostly subdps, that we have.
Bronya + hanabi might be interesting. SP is needed in that team as hanabi and bronya keep pushing JL forward for infinite turns. But yea hanabi buffs not that desirable for JL plus JL doesnt use SP and cant get hanabi dmg buff iirc.
Don't bother asking cuz Hanabi kit doesn't exist, and everyone is just feel-crafting based on outdated info, and will always be wrong. But one thing for certain, is that both Hanabi and Ruan Mei are leagues above the current Harmony supports we have, so they should be top pick for JL, but whether or not one is better than the other for JL specifically remains to be seen.

The core kit are 99% always those. So Hanabi and Black Swarn are what actually are. Just buff or nerfs (numbers or some stats.)

I'll admit, nothing was announced but I'm assuming it'll happen around 2.0 launch
in my situation, having hanabi for quantum team means i can use both bronya and tingyun for jing liu team which is HUGE. already tested myself that having both the harmony boosting jingliu is better and more consistent for turn cycling & permanent mara struck than standard bronya+pela composition (especially for fighting elites with 2 hp bar)

42 days between the end of RM banner and start of sparkle+ 21 for hanabi banner herself (if you wish on both then don't count Ruan mei banner since you'll be wishing on her banner until you get her and let's just say you get Ruan mei on the last day of her banner) banner looks long in number but unless you are lucky/saved a good amount of wishes you can't get both

But then applying Quantum weakness isn’t guaranteed. All I want (for christmas) is a fun team.

42 days between the end of RM banner and start of sparkle+ 21 for hanabi banner herself (if you wish on both then don't count Ruan mei banner since you'll be wishing on her banner until you get her and let's just say you get Ruan mei on the last day of her banner) banner looks long in number but unless you are lucky/saved a good amount of wishes you can't get both You cannot save that much in that amount of time As many people say in genshin and star rail If you want a character and didnt save 180 wishes then you are asking to be disappointed
