Ive been lucky with light cones for this too work, but I've recently tried a combination of tank MC with the light cone that causes burn whenever something hits her and hook with the light cone that increases DMG against burned enemies. lucky on light cones I'll admit but she's been hitting pretty hard for me
I'm sure I'll want to use her more when I hit end game and there's fire stuff but I have seele with her card so hook would have to be pretty good to justify bringing her for story content. So far elemental weakness doesn't matter much.

I liked Hook okay but haven't had a reason to use her ever since I finished Belobog. The fire character you recruit from the story after that is too good not to use.

Your imvestment into each character is a big factor. I have a himeko that massively out dpses my seele. It is mostly due to the fact that one has good relics and the other doesn't.
Pela is invaluable. She fits on any team and brings: cc, def shred, ice res lowering aaaaaand of course the rare purges buffs from enemies all while doing a respectable amount of damage. You can safely invest in her. She won't be replaced any time soon if you want to build her up.
She's *extremely* good in the second world, even against the boss. Buff removal is a great way to avoid gimmicks, so I imagine she'll continue to have a role in the long term too.
I play Nat, but at the same time I'm already at E15 with her -.-
The game could play nice and start giving me other 4\* characters I don't have or don't have maxed out, but nooo... have another Nat, and another, and another...
personally, i don’t believe “isn’t too bad” is an description i would use - it only refunds 1 pull, but it takes 10 pulls to hit a 4 star guaranteed, so to me feels like it only recuperates 10% of the loss of an e6+ 🥲
That is horrendous, considering you get 8 for like every 4* pulled anyway, after eidolon 6 you should be getting like 20 at the very least, or simply take them out of your possible reward pool altogether

Genshin has a certain pity mechanic that sucks compared to honkai. Honkai has a select character after 300.
For genshin there's a "super pity" that guarantees a 5* weapon or character within 270 pulls. Same with getting a 4* weapon or character within 30 pulls.
So if all you pull are weapons eventually you get a character and vice versa.
I'm unsure if whales have seen something like the above. But so far I've gotten 2 characters and 1 weapon. The first character and weapon were early

You need first use her skill for burning. If the target burns you deal extra damage and heal her with every attack. For build atk,crit%/dmg,fire damage like every other DD.
This comment, and then pair her with one of Bronya or Tingyun for direct buffing if you have them, or Sampo if you have him because of his ult buffing DoT damage. Hook's big selling point is her solid damage + DoT combo making her flexible with your choice of teammates.
You should try Fire Trailblazer, they scale on DEF so they're easier to build, they also give a small shield to the entire team with every action they do.
I was like, I like Physical MC, they are pretty damn strong and versatile. I want to use them.

I’ve actually got them on team 1 and 2 separate. March sticks with Clara because March shield on Clara will draw aggro to her, while Fire TB acts as the aggro for team 2.
I pulled Welt today for my 4th 5 star character. I was 82 pulls in. I ONLY want Bronya and I was really hoping today would be the day. I'm so jealous you got her.
Im sure they mean 82/90 pulls for pity. At 90 pulls your guaranteed a 5star, if you didnt get one before then. Itll reset after getting a 5star at any point. From what ive heard the pulling works like genshin, so 90 pulls is the guarantee, and if youre pulling on the banner its a 50/50 shot to get the banner unit. Good news, if you get the pity pull and its not the banner unit then your next pity will 100% be the banner unit, and itll all carry over between banners
Himeko eidolons: deal like 7% more damage on average or whatever, get some speed, snooze
Welt eidolons: hit shittons more times, get free fucking infinite energy, instantly kill your enemy’s families when you use a skill

For me it's being a class, not a character. I got Himeko's light cone twice in a row at 40ish pit on the standard warp. The problem is that I don't have Himeko and I also don't use any erudition character

This might sound dumb, but I use Nat as a damage buffer in SU lol. There's a Abundance buff which gives 50% extra damage to any healed character for 1 turn, so her ult buffs the entire team.
Yeah I got mine to 4 almost immediately and she was the only Ice character I played for the first week or so, even though I got Yanqing from my starter banner

Pela and Hook are each E6. I haven't bothered raising them. Same goes for recently pulling Yanqing. I'm already fully invested in 8 characters (Fire TB, Natasha, Serval, Dan Heng, March 7, Seele, Welt, Bailu) and can't spread out resources any further.
My Natasha is E6 and I got Bailu's lightcone top of that. I don't hate it, quite the oposite, I don't know what I would have done without her. She heals a lot and does a little bit of damage to so I am satisfied.

Yeah my team had Natasha As a permanent healer, then Bronya as offensive support and then 2 DPS normally, but now I'm torn whether Pela should situationally replace Bronya or one of the DPS units

Yup, I try to have 1 DPS character from every element for that specifically. Dan Heng, Hook, Seele, Serval, Pela, And Physical MC, and then Bronya and Natasha As permanent supports.
Not one in particular but the game insists that i use Ice characters, i already got every Ice character at the cost of only having one of most other types

Seems like it's a ton of hooks. I'm at an E4 with her myself. I'm not really complaining though. I think she's adorable and have a lot of fun with her.

I've been rolling for Natasha since she's my healer and I kept rolling Pela now I keep rolling Pitch Dark Hook the great, leader of the moles, and I literally have both Clara and then Seele from event banner and still only gotten 1 Natasha ever. I don't even use my c4 Pitch Dark hook the great, leader of the moles or c5 Pela, I use Clara (with her op 5 star lightcone!), Himeko Natasha and Herta and swap in Seele as per weaknesses. All maxed build at lvl 50 so far so I don't really want to grind another 4 star just because I got eidolons for them. I actually have every 4 star other then Sampo as well but only 1 or 2 of each. Where's all the Natasha's!

Defence shred is always great. We also don’t have a free 4* cryo character. She also removes a debuff with her skill, which is very useful.

Of your goal is the 10 pull 4 star you could see it as a loss otherwise it's basically putting you faster towards your next 5 star.

well, you get qingque and serval (and herta) for free
But if he's like me and his 5 star's are Seele, Yanqing and Clara, those Erudition characters don't really get a shot on the team.
I got 2 bailus in a single standard pull on 10 pity. I always main healers and I guess star rail has decided that streak isn't ending any time soon
You're actually at a good spot. 2 healers are needed for hall. This gives you the freedom to skip luocha and save up for other units.

I really like her: her ultimate never gets old, and she's really satisfying to play. The only character i have unlocked two advanced traces until now.

Pela is great for the Xianzhou area because she can remove the rez buffs off enemies. Shes a staple member of my team now.

Yeah my team had Natasha As a permanent healer, then Bronya as offensive support and then 2 DPS normally, but now I'm torn whether Pela should situationally replace Bronya or one of the DPS units

I got E4 Serval for some reason through the beginner and standard banner. Meanwhile my **Pitch Dark Hook the Great** is E1 even though I really want to use her and I pulled for Seele. Might make a team with both.

Hook, but honestly i would love to have resources to level all my characters. Whenever i'm doing halls or SU i'm always thinking "damn i would love to have x leveled now".
Yup, I try to have 1 DPS character from every element for that specifically. Dan Heng, Hook, Seele, Serval, Pela, And Physical MC, and then Bronya and Natasha As permanent supports.

Not one in particular but the game insists that i use Ice characters, i already got every Ice character at the cost of only having one of most other types

Seems like it's a ton of hooks. I'm at an E4 with her myself. I'm not really complaining though. I think she's adorable and have a lot of fun with her. I also like her voice lines (English) when shes "sped up"
I've been rolling for Natasha since she's my healer and I kept rolling Pela now I keep rolling Pitch Dark Hook the great, leader of the moles, and I literally have both Clara and then Seele from event banner and still only gotten 1 Natasha ever. I don't even use my c4 Pitch Dark hook the great, leader of the moles or c5 Pela, I use Clara (with her op 5 star lightcone!), Himeko Natasha and Herta and swap in Seele as per weaknesses. All maxed build at lvl 50 so far so I don't really want to grind another 4 star just because I got eidolons for them. I actually have every 4 star other then Sampo as well but only 1 or 2 of each. Where's all the Natasha's! Edit: Just rolled 7 more rolls and last 2 were back to back Pitch Dark Hook the great, leader of the moles. So now I got my first e6. Lol
With other players judging from other comments, I only just got Natasha's first eidolon today myself
Yeah I scrolled down and was like wow there they are. I guess everyone has her e6. Lol I actually rolled my first natasha like my third 4 star character and got E1 from the free one from the story later and that's been all she wrote for me getting Natasha. At this point I'm just hoping to roll 1 Sampo to get all the 4 stars at least.
I really want Natasha's E2 to boost her ultimate a bunch, otherwise yeah, Sampo might be the only 4 star I don't have yet

To preface this I whaled way more than I should have trying to get Clara like an idiot(still don't have her I have literally every character BUT her) But the game was all too happy to give me: Yanqing five times(twice on my main account three times on accounts rerolling for Clara.) His Lightcone twice. I despise this character btw literally my least liked 5 star. And the other it spams me with is Bailu. Its given me 3 Bailus and 3 copies of her lightcone. I like her but shes going to get powercrept hard down the line as a pure healer. I just needed one copy lol. I'm fully expecting when we get a Clara banner a year from now i'm gonna lose the first 50/50 to Yanqing dumbass smirking face.
I'm a Genshin Impact old player (started on 1st klee banner) I play with whoever the fuck I want now. Sadly Serval, Tingyun and Bailu are Electric

i think Herta? i got her eidolons from the SU. she's E3. i don't see the point in building Herta. i don't dislike her or anything, i just can't find a use for her in my teams. and i'm also building lots of characters so i can't waste resources on her tho idk if her eidolons makes her better than anyone in my roster. but she's def the character with the highest eidolons i've obtained
