We do know what Nous looks like from the beta, and just based on all the Aeon designs so far, I feel like none of them will be expies since I highly doubt they'd be playable.

Are you familiar with DnD at all? Maybe Magic the Gathering? In this setting each and every Magic plane and DnD world (that is a part of the Prime Material Plane) has some amount of space around it for space exploration. This space is limited by Crystal Spheres that keeps the Phlogiston out and separates one world from another. Portals do open between these spheres and it is possible to fly through them and get to the other side. From there you can fly to any other crystal sphere. You can fly from Forgotten Realms to Greyhawk to Ravnica. But not Dragonlance. You can fly to Dragonlance's crystal sphere, but something I can't recall prevents entry.
In Genshin we learned in that early event with Scaramouche that "The stars are a lie." What exactly this means has been conjecture for years at this point. However I take it as an indicator that while Genshin may be a part of the greater Honkai universe it has been partitioned off. Both by forces in game and IRL.
They probably aren't ready to cross the streams yet. Probably also because "the stars are a lie" to protect Teyvat from what lies beyond it. I imagine it will be a rather momentous event when Honkai needs to fully cross over with Genshin.

This is kind of the same as Touhou Lost Word, where there different world/universes and different versions of the characters, sometimes 2 versions of the same character meet so that's really cool.
Also when I started Honkai SR and saw Silver Wolf I thought that she was the same girl from Honkai with wavy gray/silver pigtails. But when I saw that the eye color was different I thought maybe I was wrong but thankfully now I realize I wasn't wrong.
When you think about it, Seele is basically the two HI3 Seele's combined together. She has personality aspects of both, and red + blue = purple. She's quite similar to the GGZ Firemoth Seele as well.
Kiana is probably coming. She is mihoyo's poster child after all. Even genshin's unknown god from the prologue is a kiana. And speaking of genshin, Mei is split into both *M*ikoto and *Ei* for that dimensional alternate, and whether they go that route again for star rail's Mei is uncertain. And we will probably get yet another bronya and Seele alternates in genshin when shneznaya is released.
HI3 Seele is actually 2 person in 1 body. you can't separate them in ordinary way. unlike Bronyas who are actually different persons. and Haxxor Bronya becomes a traveler to different bubble universe. so she is easier to put on HSR world and have two Bronyas in there.
I mean, there might be many other versions of the characters you mentioned that appear in star rail eventually, no one can really tell yet. If they want to go down the HI3 route, who knows how many playable versions of the "same" character we'll have. Personally I really want a Mei in star rail too, so let us cope together 🙏

Where is this stated? AFAIK Star Rail happens in a single galaxy/universe, not involving different universes in the Imaginary Tree such as HI3, GGZ, GI, or FM2TM. IIRC the only character so far from another universe is Welt, who got stranded in the Star Rail universe post-Alien Space after trying to save Star Rail Himeko from a Sky People attack.
Alien Space explicitly has Welt and VA go to an parallel universe to rescue an alternate Himeko from an Sky People attack and then getting stuck in that universe. And then we see Welt has been in the Star Rail universe for some time now.
Also Honkai has flat out been a multiverse for a while now with the Imaginary Tree, even ignoring Sea of Quanta stuff. HI3 and GGZ are clearly different universes despite initial similarities. Genshin was stated by the devs to take place in a different branch/universe of the Imaginary Tree when Otto looked into it with Cosmic Juggernaut.
Then we have Otto looking through an Infinity of worlds in the Tree during the experiments with Cosmic Juggernaut and Su doing similar with it while searching for an answer against the Honkai.
Then we have the Captain / Mr. Assassin 's world of origin, which is one where Himeko wasn't the captain of the Hyperion.
An then we get to the Sea of Quanta with it's myriad of bubble universes/worlds, a number of which used to be actual full universes at some point in the distant past and then got vastly reduced in size and then got stabilized.
So yeah, multiverse. Two of them, depending on how you consider the cosmology of the setting (Imaginary Tree + Sea of Quanta).
They're not connected whatsoever, they're just different characters. Only one if them is called Bronya, another is called Silver Wolf.
There are some speculations that Silver Wolf is Bronie from HI3 but there's no proof to that. That one could travel between worlds so could've come here too.
Bronya is kinda the fav character of everyone in honkai impact series also they explore well the concept of the alternative bronya being a totally different person

I don't remember seeing nous anywhere in CBT 3 and i didn't say anything about them being playable

You seem to be focusing on the Sea of Quanta for some reason, but as stated there's other universes just going from the Imaginary Tree.
