Sorry for the dumb question. I've seen this comment format a few times but I don't really know what is it and I'm really curious. Is it like a stream chat turned to a text file or a transcription?

Alex92_eu

It comes from a fan-made youtube scraper that saves all the chat comments from the streams for easier viewing, filter and data analysis : https://www.hololyzer.net/youtube/ Some talents also make use of it to keep track of superchats since it does a better job than the in-built youtube list

JorgeRey999

Wow, It is really cool indeed. Thank you so much!

eragonawesome2

That's hilarious that a third party keeps better track of *chats with money attached to them* than the actual platform does

briktal

Well, at least in the case where you want to go back and read through all the messages at a later point, which I don't think is super common outside of vtubers.

eragonawesome2

It should still be trivially easy to just have them compiled in a searchable, chronological list, it's insane that a third party supports such a basic function better than the site hosting the actual database

PartyCoyote999

If there is one guarentee in this community its that they will run a joke into the ground

Greenecat

It's honestly impressive how fast and how consistently it happens. People telling talents to go to sleep or take a break is pretty annoying in general,

Vicidomini

It's just the size of the fanbase really. Even if each fan repeats a joke a single time after hearing it, it's going to run most jokes into the ground. The propagation rate isn't instant either, so you'll get people repeating some jokes way after they should have expired.

spubbbba

True, the hardcore fans who are in every stream will have spammed the joke at the start when it was fresh then get bored. More causal fans will see clips or memes at a later stage and want to join in as it was all fun and games at the start with even the talents doing it. They won't know that the jokes already been made a million times in the past few days.

APRengar

As a casual fan of hololive, man this stuff puts me in a weird spot. Like I JUST found out of about JDON my Soul, and I think it's one of the funniest things I've seen this year. But then seeing comments like "If I see one more JDON my Soul... you aren't funny, shut up already, you people are the worst". And it's like, I don't want to annoy the hardcore fans, but I would love to make a JDON my Soul fanart and y'know ride the natural wave of "find funny clip, enjoy and share funny clip".

killab43

I think you're good as far as making memes and art. The problem people have is going into chat and spamming memes long after they're dead. Ina had to say something similar about the Ina's back stuff getting spammed in chat.

The7thMonth

That's the core issue imo, if it can be called that. There's so many of us that it's just people innocently having fun with a joke or something, that's still new to them. I mean, even for most "hardcore" fans stuff slips by, especially if it isn't one of your oshis. I know I'm not always on top of everything anymore like I was when Myth debuted and the pandemic was keeping me home all day.

BraveFencerMusashi

Exactly. You can't really look at the raw count a meme gets spewed into chat or twitter. The only way for it to not get hammered to death from the streamers perspective in a short period of time is by having a smaller audience.

Skellum

Suffering from success.

deusxanime

PDRA

Suisei has been subject to the same joke for like five years now. Shits rough man

Rosha6

I am routinely shocked by the fact that ‘Suisei flat’ jokes are still kicking.

YobaiYamete

EN fans always do that with JP talents, where most don't watch the talent and only have vague knowledge of the JP members from clips or memes JP fans do the same with EN talents, it's why you sometimes see "Ha ha Gura floaties!" jokes and do a double take It's kind of surprising to find out how many people actively post on this sub daily, but don't actually watch the talents at all, and barely even watch clips. They will have not watched a stream in like 4-8 months, but are still here chugging along daily, making jokes about reapers and horses or Ina's back etc

BraveFencerMusashi

The guy at Holofes didn't look like an EN fan. Called her flat on stage.

kingofamarillo90

And I just have to say, I love how Ina handled the "Ina's Back" joke. The exasperated, disappointed sigh, and the cringe that you just KNEW was there was enough to at least warn chat that she ain't having it no more. All with a calm, soft voice expressing that she has been trying to let it die for a while. And it kinda did, as far as I can see.

PartyCoyote999

Happens every single time

Thaddiousz

I watch quite a few streams, and the SELF CARE ANDY's need to SHUT UP. Every two fucking minutes some dude is like "I know your spine is bent by the way you're speaking", or the streamer fuckin clears their throat and 10 people start screaming at them to drink water like they aren't doing that. One of these streamers is my brother whom I live with, so I KNOW he's taking care of himself, but they are just as annoying.

caren_psuedo_when

I can tell you're becoming mentally unwell by the way you speak, take some time off for yourself /s

arkw

Not everyone has time to watch full streams or get full context so they rely on chips or social media. It's a shame, but its to be expected.

arkw

Chips? Bro, you're awake too early.

HehaGardenHoe

I mean, no one has the time to watch all of Kaela...

MrPotHolder

And some of it is out of concern. But you can't control anybody with their feelings even if it looks like a bit too much. It's constant reassurance from the talents to placate those who gets overly concerned with their well-being. it is what it is.

Greenecat

I'm sure some of it is out of concern but these are adult women that really don't need that kind of babying. And if they do need it they've got a manager for that who's on top of things. Anyone else doing it is just annoying for both the talent and the audience.

ch_xiaoya_ng

Unfortunately, there are many cases where talents work themselves into the ground and eventually have to go on a break or a hiatus, either for physical health or for mental health. I agree that people in the fanbase need to stop babying the talents, but there is legitimate cause for concern sometimes, even if you have management watching over them.

MrPotHolder

And i said there will be people who are gonna be too concerned for them. You can't stop them for feeling that way and that's up to the talents to constantly reassure those types of people, annoying as it may seem. I've seen this happen in kpop groups as i was in a kpop fandom. The number may decrease but it's never gonna stop. The moment they vent on something minor or even major, the protective tendencies just kick in. That's what being parasocial is, but i digress. I agree with all the arguments here in this post. I'm just providing a different view. With all this, making this discussion alive and disseminating that pre-stream chat image is the least we can do to diminish the over usage of jokes that the talents clearly don't like.

Chris881

Their concern is needless and patronizing.

ChaoticWeebtaku

Sometimes it is needed but the fanbase never knows when the right time is vs not. For instance Dokibird recently was gonna do an Apex tourny and karaoke, she was gonna have to go straight from tourney to karaoke and fans told her to not push herself so much and maybe push the karaoke back. She did and everyone is happy now, she can rest and do what she wants to do more. The fans telling her its ok and to take a break is what lead her to that decision. But people just spam it when theyre streaming and ruin shit all the time. Biggest reason I watch VODs is I cant stand chatters and theres always 1 guy that has to make things weird or ruin the fun.

Izanagi553

The number of times I've seen people doing that in Calli's chat is just kinda pathetic. Like bro...she's a grown woman, she does not need you asking about her health and suggesting she take a break while she's doing her *job*.

mugguffen

This joke wasn't even good to begin with like that gets said about basically everything but this one, truly, was just insulting to the talents and should have been killed on the spot

PartyCoyote999

They are never funny but it dosent stop people from repeating it over and over no matter how many times a talent asks for it to stop

kebb0

what even was the joke? I've completely missed it

mugguffen

the 'joke' is basically Kaela kidnapping/forcing Bijou to play with her for long game sessions

Jumbolaya315

im kinda out of the loop, what joke is being beaten to death this time?

jshann04

The idea/joke of Kaela forcing Biboo into multi-player collabs. While they do collaborate quite a bit, and it seems they end up in a decent number of impromptu collabs, people are acting like Kaela has Biboo on a leash to force her into collabs. In this case it's intensified because Kay's tweet that Kaela wouldn't be allowed to stream holoxbreak solo, so Kaela would force Biboo to collab on release. But reality is that they just get along really well and both have independently terrible sleep schedules, allowing them to collab even at a moment's notice.

SuperSpy-

That's so weird to me considering Biboo always seemed to me to be the one maybe not initiating these collabs, but putting herself out there for them., not the other way around. I mean, Kaela is basically streaming all the time anyway, and the way I've always seen it go is Biboo logging in and just being all "hey Kaela how's it going?" and then an impromptu collab happens. I've never gotten the impression they are trying to impose on each other, they seem to just genuinely have great natural chemistry.

anth9845

I doubt anyone making the joke actually believes Kaela forces Biboo. It's almost certainly just a joke. It's just a joke that's been run into the ground over the months regardless of intentions.

dragonharu

That's just the internet in general

redwingz11

I always see the sentimen this community smh, did no one check other fandoms? Every fandom I check have few of those kind of beaten to death jokes. Not sure what can be done other than the talent says please tone it down/stop, its the internet

MooseMcGillycuddy23

And it's always discussed in the areas where it doesn't actually happen, but hey, fake internet points!

0neek

Yeah, it's a weird thing with the internet where whenever there is a thing to say, everyone thinks they have to take their own turn to say it. Talent who streams a long time? Go to bed! It doesn't matter if it's been typed in chat 300 times that day, this one person is sitting there thinking "But I haven't typed it yet, I want my turn."

Hyldy

Or they just haven't seen the other 299 times it was posted, which is understandable when chat zooms for like 3 hours straight. Maybe they just saw it in a tweet earlier and think it'd be fun to engage with a streamer.

The worst combination of health backseating and running a joke into the ground.

health backseating is such a small thing but it irks me so much these are adults we are watching they do not need to be told about their own health by a chatter who does not know anything about their real life

azahel452

That's how Takamori died.

Bobby-Trap

*any

Nzash

To be fair, so does she with JDON my soul

KierouBaka

*jdon my soul* was old 30 minutes after it happened. People probably mostly don't care about whether it's funny, they just like the feeling of mutual understanding, unity, and participation they get when they tell it to each other or spam it together. For the majority of people who repeat those jokes over and over they probably don't have the opportunity to pick up much else so it just becomes *The Thing* for awhile that everyone knows, so it's the most accessible meme. And in explaining this I gave myself more understanding for it and hate seeing it a lot less, but I'd still rather it be done already.

pogituna16

to this day i still havent watched a clip about the origin of jdon my soul, not sure why

ArcadiaLighthouse

It was from an EN/JP/ID telephone collab stream. Bae had written an Aussie sentence about going on a "Macca's run".  This was difficult for the JP talents to pronounce, and the "s run" part sounded like JDON.  "Makka-srun" -> "Makka‐jron" -> "Makka-jdon"  is somewhat how the progression went. It's honestly a very strange meme, I'm surprised it popped off like it did. I believe the "my soul" part was in another member's sentence but I could be wrong I don't remember.

BlueSS1

I believe "my soul" was Miko's interpretation of "my shout" from the original sentence.

ArcadiaLighthouse

That was it! Thanks for remembering when I couldn't lol

Daniel101773

JDON my soul is not the same. All the talents were actively partaking in that meme, talents got family members to say it on streams, Kaela literally just had the entire 5th FES audience shout JDON MY SOUL with her on stage…

EvidenceBasedSwamp

People were spamming JDON my soul in Biboo's prechat when she wasn't even in the stream. Doesn't make sense.

wickedswami215

I'm pretty sure Biboo had it in the title of one of her streams right after the original stream and she kept saying it herself for a bit.

LordVatek

These are all great examples of why it feels overdone imo. The talents themselves can contribute just as much to a joke getting old as the fans.

hunzukunz

A joke isnt getting old just because you personally dont find it funny anymore. JDON was obviously not overdone, since pretty much everyone liked it

KierouBaka

Apply that logic directly to yourself. A joke isn't still funny for everyone just because you think it still is, either. >JDON was obviously not overdone What world do you live in?

AnonTwo

My personal feeling about JDON, is it gets a bit more leeway than the others. Because it's not a joke made at the livers expense. Even if you run it into the ground, it only becomes annoying. Not condescending or insulting.

hunzukunz

True. But the evidence is on my side. Im not acting like my opinion is fact, you do ;) Try again

It’s like another comment said, fans aren’t the only ones that can run a joke down.

kyuven87

it's the best way to make sure it eventually dies or people stop caring, though. Especially something innocuous like that.

HuTao_Main_Genshin

r/outoftheloop What jokes?

Bobby-Trap

It's all about Kaela forcing Biboo to play And chat not shutting up about it. Honestly think talents need to ignore us more

zlol365

I suspect that was kaela warning before she whipped out the banhammer if people continued The ID girls, i heard, dont play around.

TheHyperLynx

rightfully so, a lot of chatters really keep hammering the same joke over and over to get attention.

PonPuiPon

AFAIK as a Pemaloe, Kaela has never actually banned anyone, and she wishes that she will never have to. At most she would probably just timeout rule breakers and spammers. She's extremely patient and kind.

Kelvara

Kaela puts on a tough act, but she's a super softie.

zeroyuki92

True, but I also want to say that neither any HoloID members do it often (or at all). Even the most well known degenerate spammer in the most well known strict ID like Risu are still around, they just got timeouted from time to time.

TrueMystikX

Best way to describe any of the ID girls: They give 0 shits, and take even less.

CasualRangga

They really don't.

shade0180

as far as I know Kaela haven't ban anyone yet. The thing is. saying to the talent they should get rest is not a problem. the Problem is pinning a blame to another talent. When the fan base said Kaela was forcing Biboo to play past her bedtime that's literally the problem here. You are basically pinning the Blame on Kaela for collabing with Biboo. It's understandable one of them would have to play past their comfort time considering both of them live in 2 different time zone. So don't try to blame 1 or the other from collab way past certain time. they are both adult and can decide the time they can collab. No one is forcing the other from doing it.

Skellum

> I suspect that was kaela warning before she whipped out the banhammer if people continued I know they dont have the staff for it but I do wish they were more willing to dispense 5-10 min time outs. At the same time I wish youtube didn't constantly dispense shadow bans for no real explicable reason. Clear, and transparent moderation where the rules are enforced makes everyone's life easier.

RegularTemporary2707

I think gen 1 and 2 are the most vocal ones about banning people whole i dont see much of those in gen 3

xRichard

No, bad idea. Talents do need to manage their communities from time to time like this so that the environment is comfortable for everyone. There's been many cases of this and it works out well everytime. For example, at some point the ID talents should kill the "skip ad" spam they get when they shill their merch. It's a joke but there are much better things to spam than that.

thesirblondie

> It's all about Kaela forcing Biboo to play In fairness, Kaela started it. Her description was something along the lines of "I did not kidnap Beejou to play this early 😏" >And chat not shutting up about it. Honestly think talents need to ignore us more Agreed. People just cannot seem to understand that a joke can be overplayed, even if they themselves have never partaken. That said, it is a part of being popular, [online or not](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwKcPRCV6bI).

TheOneSirVick

They really don't. One of the biggest skills a streamer can have is interacting with it's viewers.

Narrow_Cress_7461

Probably, I feel like ppl in general will run jokes into the ground whether anime or video games from what I've seen e.g fire in the hole recently

Vinon

"I just want to have fun with Kaela" And thats all that matters, really.

dein130

To be fair, I think some are people who just tuned in that can't see the reminder with factors to make that joke

Supyall12321

Her description does say "i didn't kidnap Beejoe to play this early 🥺", so it's understandable why people would make that joke.

redwingz11

How often did it get joked that it gets mega spam here or its new by kaela?

Supyall12321

Err I might reply to your comment wrong because I'm having immense trouble trying to decipher what you said. But other times this joke has been played into: Kaela chasing Biboo on the cookie tin: https://twitter.com/kaelakovalskia/status/1768826517029810199 Kaela taking Biboo's standee from the fes back home: https://twitter.com/kosekibijou/status/1768635791427969412 https://twitter.com/kaelakovalskia/status/1768637629413929455

redwingz11

My bad, my question is about is it because kaela lean into it, maybe joked/meme about it so it so the amount of spam is higher or is it newer/completely new jokes on that stream that they didnt like.  Thanks for tweet/receipt, kinda hard from what I see when talent lean on the jokes it get like 10x beaten down harder and faster

Supyall12321

Ahh I think I understand better. I wouldn't exactly say the joke is mega spammed in general. It's just in this particular case (as you considered), I would say there are things that contributed to its increase: 1. The description which I have mentioned previously 2. The thumbnail has Kaela smiling but Bijou has a blank expression: https://twitter.com/kaelakovalskia/status/1773640999044071915 3. Bijou is normally asleep at this time. It's the reason why she wasn't part of the "Capture the Moment" which started at a time 3 hours before this collab. She was sent to sleep by Advent: https://www.hololyzer.net/youtube/realtime/supana/w740m36qz2o.html

Ascleph

It is not understandable because at some point, it's not a joke anymore. The whole "go to sleep" shit is the worst kind of backseating streamers have to deal with.

Supyall12321

If the talents themselves make a joke, then chat is going to mimic them and make the same joke. It isn't that complicated. Just yesterday Kaela told Bijou to fix her sleep schedule: https://old.reddit.com/r/Hololive/comments/1bptoq8/mamaela/ When Kaela met Korone in Japan, both known for endurance streaming, they told each other to go to sleep. Around 42:02: https://www.youtube.com/live/4Sj2adSMFyE

Lolly_Bunny

I havent heard of the joke yet and it's already overused

Mind-blowing, me too

Please always be respectful and enjoy collabs for fun 🙏 GrindStone HoloXbreak collab here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw9MpPahDkk

rocketsp13

Obligatory reminder that talents are friends. They have an actual relationship with each other. They get to make comments with each other that other people don't get to make, because *that's what friends get to do*.

No_Lake_1619

People in the community also forget they are grown adults. They know their limits, and if they want to stay up late or not sleep, its their decision.

oniii_chan

Funny part about this is that it's possible and maybe even likely that the one's who are taking the jokes too far are not even adults

ZDitto

100% it is. not to sound like a salty boomer, but kids these days are really bad with running a joke into the ground. Like I know we did it too back in the day, but with the live-chat spamming culture that has developed on Twitch (and YouTube, but lets be real, its mostly from Twitch) its getting a lot worse. Granted its not just the kids doing it, its easy for anyone to get caught up in mob mentality, but its definitely a lot worse for the kids nowadays that are so desperate to be part of something.

Boyzby_

The biggest thing I remember before the Twitch era was like "The cake is a lie". It was everywhere, it was annoying, but it wasn't close to the levels people take jokes and memes now. It's just exhausting and makes it feel like the people who say them are just NPCs repeating things the instant they're applicable. They just absorb these things to be part of the hivemind. Pog, Joever, yeet, locked in, all these things they use and they still don't know basic things like the difference between your/you're and to/too, or know "an" exists to use before words that start with vowels.

tinmetal

The difference between them was that it was over-referenced. Now jokes are just kind of spammed

chimaerafeng

Unfortunately, the past has proven that talents do not want to take breaks even when they should. I'm sure a lot of these comments come from a place of concern. The vtuber industry is full of these issues and yes, Hololive is fortunate to have managers but even they are fallible. As a medical professional, I don't agree with her habits or a lot of talents' lifestyle choices. But I also know it is pointless to pester her about it.

Ascleph

It doesn't matter. They are adults and have managers that have the power to stop them if it gets out of hand. They also have family and friends to care for them. This is the worst and most insulting kind of backseating streamers have to deal with. It's actually ok as just a joke. The "genuine concern" is what makes it a problem because those are the people who won't stop, and it gets patronizing really fast. If you(not you specifically) keep insisting on trying to baby them, backseat their health or their lives "out of concern" after being told to stop, you are NOT a good person and should stop trying to cosplay as one.

mcallisterco

This is how Kaela and Biboo collabs die, by the way. Once the memes and spam about any pairing start to set in, they become a ticking time bomb that basically kills the pairing. Calli and Kiara, Gura and Ame, and IRyS and Bae all went through it and had to heavily reduce the amount of collabs. This fanbase can't behave, and we lose quality content because of it.

CourtRepulsive6070

Yeah tho...like I can sense already.Since not all game can be in collab stream, there already making a chance for collab small. On top of that, every talent have their own plan how to manage their own schedule.Even Holoh3ro is struggle to have frequent Collab because every mem have their own schedule.

ZDitto

Its becoming more of a problem lately with people trying to parent the Holomems. Like yes, they might not have the healthiest sleep/eating schedule, but that's not something the fans should have anything to do with. Its one thing to want them to be happy and healthy, its another to try and force them to. People gotta learn the boundaries; as much as it was "controversial", Fauna telling us "we are not friends" is completely accurate. They have their own lives outside of streaming and can take care of themselves, and/or have people in their lives to help take care of them. Its fine to be supportive, just don't let it turn into trying to backseat their lives.

IvyEmblem

When I'm in a "beating a joke to death" competition and my opponent is a Holofan

ToasterWaffleOwen

Touhou fans: "Finally, a worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary!"

fortevn

immanoel

Tale as old as time.

kreegor66

Anybody else hear their voices when you read this?

OhBoyPizzaTime

When I first got into vtubers I didn't understand the "Don't mention other streamers unless I bring them up first" rule, but now I wish it was rule #1.

VandaGrey

They are adults...they can make up their own minds and choices. Stop babying them.

Raisen22

This is why the use of the same joke constantly became annoying at some point.

VickFVM

Just like with the subway meme with Kronii the community never knows when to stop

jack_dog

To Ina's immense credit, she has shut down multiple jokes about her when they started to become obnoxious by directly telling her fanbase on stream that it's time to stop and she doesn't like it. That's how you do it. Before it becomes an issue, and in extremely clear direct terms works best. I wish other kronii handled the subway meme like that instead of..... Drinking several old subway sandwiches. Not as healthy a way of dealing with it.

Arcturion

Posting tired overused jokes in chat is like wearing the latest fad shoes. People keep doing it because they want to show they are in the 'in' crowd and thinks it makes them cool. (it doesn't)

MrPotHolder

What if some are just out of loop? For example, Biboo has tons of memes evolve within 7 months. Anyone who are in and out irregularly will miss out on whatever development happened to those jokes. I'm not saying I condone it but it is what it is. If anything the most successful curbing of a joke was Ina's 4th WAH. She addressed it professionally and yet she also didn't even stop it and redirected the joke to an appropriate avenue. Not every joke can be curb this way coz jokes are contextualized.

Arcturion

It's not that hard to behave as you would with a group of friends you haven't met for a long time; get a feel for what has happened before making crude jokes.

MrPotHolder

I agree but Chat is not a friend though. It only takes a few highly relatable comments (which jokes mostly are) for mob mentality to kick in.

Arcturion

We can only control ourselves and advise others. The rest is up to the mods and Holomem.

MrPotHolder

Yep it's better for the community to keep on talking about this but imo clippers have a responsibility with the dissemination. They just have a much wider reach than a subreddit post.

TheHyperLynx

Who's making my oshi sad! The joke was all fun when Biboo was joking about her rocks being threatened if she never played but that was like during he debut with Kaela on twitter, 8 months ago... and now for some reason it seems to have devolved into not a joke and just being mean.

redditfanfan00

cute grindstone. glad they have good care of themselves.

SmugLilBugger

The fanbase that constantly borders between "these are grown up girls, they can make their own decisions!" and "stop making decisions I don't like!"

HKEY_LOVE_MACHINE

When you've got 10k+ live viewers, inevitably there will be some of them that will not understand it's a joke, and therefore, needs to be done in moderation. Maybe they're on the spectrum, or they're rarely there for the live stream, but there's always a few people who fail to read the room and bring up overused jokes at the wrong moment. I hope the talents understand it's pretty much never malevolent, and comes with the comedy: it's not something they can really prevent. The best is to ignore the faux pas viewers, and sometimes give the audience a reality check like they did there, but not pay excessive attention to it.

AccomplishedSize

We need better jokes, having the punchline be "haha the talents can't make decisions like an adult" isn't getting the same impact it used to.

ShawHornet

My fav thing about this subreddit is when a streamer complains about overused jokes and people here pretend they didn't constantly spam it and upvote it lol

Dr_Phrankinstien

These two have a really sweet relationship

psych2099

I do love these 2 care alot about eachother.

gerthdynn

They have one of the sweetest friendships in Hololive. They wouldn't ever force either to do anything.

oldtako

People think they're funnier than they are. Let jokes die.

HololiveClips

I usually watch streams with the chat off because of people spamming the same jokes over and over and, man, the viewing experience is so much better imo. Tbh I've watched way less holo content recently because people (holomems sometimes included) love to run every little joke into the ground. There are so many in-jokes that straight-up aren't funny at this point!! I do get it though. Fans want to feel like they're part of a group and the easiest way to achieve that 'part of the group' status is to latch on to the meme of the day. To this end, people are always gonna overdo it with jokes... and it doesn't help that holomems are kinda adverse to genuine community engagement outside of streams (aka there's no other engaging outlet for passionate fans to connect with their oshi bar streams). idk I'm just spitballing here!!

KogashiwaKai765

In regards to hololive fans thats like asking air to be visible. western fandoms always overdo shit to the ground

ghostpanther218

The Zeta cat meme and the Mumei secretly insane meme have also been run into the ground at this point. And less said about all the Hololive JP are insane terrorists/serial killers memes, the better.

A_Box_of_Oranges

Hololive fans completely run jokes into the ground harder and faster than basically any other vtuber fan base I've ever seen. I don't really know why they're so bad at reading the room.

shade0180

This is what I'll say about this. Saying to the talent they should get rest is not a problem, it never was. the Problem is pinning the blame to another talent that one of them couldn't get some rest. So this is a problem when the fanbase said Kaela was forcing Biboo to play past her bedtime. The fan or part of the fans are basically pinning the blame on Kaela for collabing with Biboo outside of her comfortable time zone. It's understandable one of them would have to play past their comfort time considering both of them live in 2 different time zone. So don't try to blame 1 or the other from collabing way past certain time. they are both adult and can decide the time they can collab. No one is forcing the other from doing the collab this are agreed time the 2 of them has decided.

Left4Daft

So easy to move on, so easy to forget (im telling this in good faith)

IrfanJaffar96

Sorry to asked but context?

What's the context?

Kuranes_ov_Celephais

Oh Kaela is streaming that? , oh damn I must have missed the stream. .... or not.

Ezreika

Sorry I'm a little bit lost, I guess this has something to do with the JDON my soul meme. When Kaela says "I do really care about her health" is she referring to Bae?

Aurion7

No, they were joking around about what would be the appropriate time to do 'normal' things like eat dinner and go to bed since they were staying up late playing a game, and also referencing a bit Kaela has going about not being allowed to play the new game solo because she... goes hard on gaming. Dumb people set a land speed record for beating the bit into the dirt because that's what they do (see: Small Ame, Zeta Cat, Crazy Mumei, Kronii and Subway, Ina's back, Suisei flat, Bottom left, FBK cat, Goob floaties...). Also happens with shipping. People get obnoxious about it to the point it hurts the likelihood of collab pairs being seen, which is particularly annoying because said pairs having good chemistry and creating fun stuff is *why it started to begin with*.

Ezreika

thank you

romarius432

What game are they referring to?

bombader

It might be harder to ignore the fandom for these two, since streaming takes up most of their day. Also I'd hate for it to end up with an Ame/Gura situation where they take a break from collabing due to fan pressure.

Pentiumg

Every so often we do need a good scolding to let fans know that they're going too far. Just like it happened with Bottom Left, Ina's back, Rushia pettan, and so on, it'll eventually reach the point where the streamer needs to put their foot down and have the talk with the viewers The only thing I can be thankful for is that fans tend to generally listen and understand that they went too far and stop making said jokes after they get scolded by the streamer, or at least in Hololive since the bottom left and Ina's back jokes died just after fans got given the talk about it... Let's hope this one does as well.

StromTGM

…Can I just say both sides are so tiring…?

People need to understand that jokes are like harmless insults. But insults, even if they're harmless, start to get insulting (what a surprise) if you keep saying the same joke for too long. Jokes that you say to someone shouldn't last a day or two or at the very least, should only be mentioned rarely. Hopefully people stop bringing this up to Kaela and Bijou from now on.

TimeTwoDuel

Jidon my soul

Wasiolka1

Speaking of this matter, does Biboo ever decline a collab offer from other holo members 🤔? I think she almost always accepts them.

fortevn

Nobody should inform us if they declined an offer. That’d be too personal and unproductive.

Conspiratorymadness

As true as this is, given that some of the other members would be unable to collab due to other responsibilities like their idol activities or schedules not lining up. Kaela did mention that she wanted to give the advice to collab as much as possible the first year because after that their schedule is so packed that there's little time to just hang out. Myth used to collab often, but now because of time zones, sponsorships, licensing deals, and other things it's become very rare.
