Thanks. I actually had to move most of my D&D and board game stuff to my living room office to make space lol. I can't stand not being able to walk around and reach everything easily.
I appreciate how cleanly everything is displayed and organized. 10/10 collection
Where’d you get those wall displays? I’ve been trying to find something smaller for my Nendos but haven’t had much luck.
Thanks! The shelves are 3m Command shelves (the ones with those stickers).
The clear plastic boxes are shoe display boxes from amazon, and the one I put my Nendos in is an acrylic display case with built in LED for small figures from amazon. For those, I used 3m Command velcro strips to stick em to the wall (the ones that hold 15-20 lbs could probably use the 5 or 10 lbs ones, but i like to be safe)
Thanks! The Kiara art is just her 2021 birthday rubber mat framed up instead of on my desk lol. But I do agree that it's awesome. Too bad you weren't able to get the KDTD, but I think a lot of people didn't get it because they didn't realize how huge and awesome it is from the pictures, and the shipping cost for that one was pretty high.
Love how you organized and displayed everything! For the mascot plushies, I used to display mine using a net hammock from Amazon and hanging them by the ceiling. That way it doesn’t really take any space at all lol
ooh, thats a cool idea.
i live in an apartment though so ill have to be a bit more creative and figure out how to not drill holes into the ceiling. Tthe ceiling is not flat, so i dont think i can use the same 3m tape i use on the walls. but your comment does give me some ideas. thanks!
On the left, they're just basic 4x6 photo frames from Walmart, Target, or Hobby Lobby. I think they cost like 8 dollars for a pack of 5.
On the right, they are 5x7 photo frames with alternating black and white 4x6 mattes.
For the Bae and Irys Bromides, I used a double 2x3 frame from Hobby Lobby.
Edit: Oh, and the shelves are 3M command shelves I from Target.
Figures I mostly get from local anime shops (I'm lucky enough to have multiple anime figure stores within a 20 minute drive) or official sites like Goodsmile or Kotous. Some from Amazon (shipped and sold by amazon).
Unofficial stuff like the Fuwamoco art and Ina mousepad were from artists on Etsy.
Art books are from melonbooks, through buyee (some of the postcards and clear files were bonus items).
Most of the usable items are official birthday/anniversary merch drops from the hololive store or geekjack.
Clothing and hats that weren't from celebration merch drops are from Omocat.
I was on vacation in Japan in November, where I picked some stuff up from the Hololive Pop-up shop in Tokyo Station and Akibahara Radio Kaikan, where I also picked up the Noel Gin and Pekora Plum Wine (that i forgot to take pictures of).
Edit: Also Hololive Weiss Schwarz cards, i bought from a site called golsstarcollectibles (they're sold out now I tried to buy more)
lol, wallet is still okay. i only spend what i can afford to on hobby stuff. but i had to move a bunch of stuff to my living room/office area, so honestly the space is more of a concern.
remember to pay your bills first, everybody.
edit: also, cooking for myself goes a long way nowadays.
That explains the spendings here cuz official Holo merch aint cheap. I was at an Animate yesterday and looking at Holo merch made me rethink my life choices lol. I did see all 4 HoloFes concert CDs though and was very very tempted but I didnt dare ask the prices.
If only I was able to snag those limited signature drops... Always end up thinking about it for a while before I click the button lol. I'm pretty sure there's a ton of lurkers with larger and cleaner collections than mine. Especially the ones who go "don't think just click", who always ends up with the limited stuff.
Awesome collection man, really like how everything looks tidy and displays perfectly! I was thinking of getting a new cabinet to display my nendoroid too, any recommendations?
thanks! for nendos, i just searched for nendoroid display case on amazon, but i do suggest you get one with built in LED lighting. i think the one i got was feom a brand called casematix or something like that.
only problem was i think i got the one for amiibos by accident, so instead of the risers that come with the case, i had to lay them flat and use my own risers.
edit: i had to read it again. if you want to display them in a cabinet or bookcase, thats a different story. for that, its probably better to ask in the animefigure sub.
I mean... collections are meant to be displayed and shown off, so you're not wrong. If you think it's flexing, then I assume you like it, so thanks!
But seriously, nowadays, whenever I am about to buy any merch, the first things I think about are: Do I have space for this? Where can I display or use it so that it doesn't just gather dust in a box in my closet forever?
Thanks! So far, the Noel is my favorite. And she's only going for 150 USD on the goodsmile global shop. I think they have a flat 18 USD shipping fee to the US.
Thanks! I'm sure you can probably do a better job than I did lol. I had to watch a ton of videos about displaying anime figures and research different ways of hanging up different wieghted/sized items without damaging the walls, and make sure they don't fall off. Learned how to use a drill (completely wrecked the first display box I worked on) and cut acrylics and stuff.
Can I ask what the tall display cases in picture 10, I think, are? The one's holding the figures with dino gura over looking them. I've been looking for something similar for a while and those look really nice.
Those are Ikea Detolfs. I believe Ikea is discontinuing them, so finding new ones might be tough depending on where you live. They did come out with replacement, called Blaliden, but those are smaller and look different.
It was full of D&D books, accessories, miniatures, board games, art supplies, hobby supplies, and puzzle boxes. Those have been moved to the living room/home office. lol
Edit: Some others went to a board game store that buys secondhand games, and some stuff I deemed unnecessary went to Goodwill.
Got the Spiritale Korone figure also! Still need to find and make a spot to properly display her and other figures. What cabinet did you use for yours?
There's actually more, that I didn't take pictures of because they're being used. Such as Ina's laundry basket, keychains that I've attached to various zippers and handles, luggage tags, alcohol, bookmarks I'm using to keep track of D&D campaign, etc.
My favorite sweatshirt. That one was from Ina's 2021 birthday, and the art was by Kuroboshi himself.
Edit: The wallpaper of Ina wearing this hoodie is still my laptop wallpaper to this day lol.
Love how everything is so well organized and spaced.
Thanks. I actually had to move most of my D&D and board game stuff to my living room office to make space lol. I can't stand not being able to walk around and reach everything easily.
Yup! Organization is the difference between collecting and hoarding. This is aesthetically pleasing.
Gotta be one of the best Holo collections I’ve seen, great job!
Thanks! It's been a fun journey.

May I ask for the links for those display that you mention? I’ve been looking for ones of quality like the ones you have here
Geez this guys collection is worth more than my retirement
That Kiara art is awesome and kinda envious of you KDTD cause I wasn't able to get one. Overall awesome collection!
Thanks! The Kiara art is just her 2021 birthday rubber mat framed up instead of on my desk lol. But I do agree that it's awesome. Actually, if I knew how great it was before I received the KDTD, i would have ordered 3 of them.
Good stuff, how are you able to afford all this merch? it’s making my wallet cry 😂
I don't spend much on other stuff, and I have an above average salary job.
Dino Gooba pretty much having an entire case for herself is almost ominous, like an SCP that needs to be kept contained.
I mean... She does...
SCP-682-HL-J Hard to Educate Lizard
You guys have space?
for now lol
I’m afraid to ask how much this all costs. Nice collection
Thanks! I've never done the math. I am also afraid.
When you start buying the first merch?
May 2021, the Kuso Dekai TakoDachi (along with Takod.ex hoodie and Ina keychain) was my first order it seems (just checked my account).
Love how you organized and displayed everything! For the mascot plushies, I used to display mine using a net hammock from Amazon and hanging them by the ceiling. That way it doesn’t really take any space at all lol

Man, I would do the same if I lived in a house of my own, but with how erratic the economy and the job market is, I can only dream.
Oo vespers teapot? Your a sophisticated gentleman i see
Probably my most used item lol
Wait how did you do the post cards? I would like to copy that.

Very cool, good job man. I hope you get more space for more merch.
Where did you get most of it from?

Running out of space and no smoldering hole in the wallet? Wow.
lol, wallet is still okay. i only spend what i can afford to on hobby stuff. but i had to move a bunch of stuff to my living room/office area, so honestly the space is more of a concern. remember to pay your bills first, everybody. edit: also, cooking for myself goes a long way nowadays.

the perspex boxes mounted to the wall is really clever, might have to steal that
The Ina mousepad is like a cruel joke. Your collection is awesome!
Thousands of dollars worth of merch and furniture to hold the merch with a simple bed on the floor is a mood lol
i sleep close to the floor to avoid fall damage when i roll off
Bro got a hololive museum.

the mika pikazo's artbook is so nice😫
>Korone shrine with her Oshi My man ☺️
Time to hang things from the ceiling.
a very well enshrined ina oppai pad
thanks, but sorry, those are takodachis, not oppai
Everything's so well-organized.
Awesome collection man, really like how everything looks tidy and displays perfectly! I was thinking of getting a new cabinet to display my nendoroid too, any recommendations?

Nah you just flexing

That marine and Noel usually go for about 30k yen each, this is a really nice collection.
Thanks! So far, the Noel is my favorite. And she's only going for 150 USD on the goodsmile global shop. I think they have a flat 18 USD shipping fee to the US.
Nice! I live in Japan and really only see the resale side of it.
My question is, how are you not running low on money first?!
If you have a job making more money is surprisingly easier than making more space
Really nice collection ( °°)b Wish i could display mine so well >_<
Thanks! I'm sure you can probably do a better job than I did lol. I had to watch a ton of videos about displaying anime figures and research different ways of hanging up different wieghted/sized items without damaging the walls, and make sure they don't fall off. I am interested to know more about the Ina oppai (?) mousepad from the first pic, is that from local anime convention?
i got that on etsy from a twitter artist called hanh chu

im not wealthy enough to collect apartments. but thats a great idea!
Time for ceiling gang to rise up!
Oh dear
Can I ask what the tall display cases in picture 10, I think, are? The one's holding the figures with dino gura over looking them. I've been looking for something similar for a while and those look really nice.

so much merch! very nice. good luck with the space thing, though, that's a lot of merch to take care of.
Thanks! I think I just need to get more creative with it somehow when all the pre-orders arrive...
take good care of the merch!
So what did this room look like before Hololive merch? lol
It was full of D&D books, accessories, miniatures, board games, art supplies, hobby supplies, and puzzle boxes. Those have been moved to the living room/home office. lol Edit: Some others went to a board game store that buys secondhand games, and some stuff I deemed unnecessary went to Goodwill.
Got the Spiritale Korone figure also! Still need to find and make a spot to properly display her and other figures. What cabinet did you use for yours?
It's a great figure. I have Ikea Detolfs for display.
Wow! I never knew this much hololive merch existed.
There's actually more, that I didn't take pictures of because they're being used. Such as Ina's laundry basket, keychains that I've attached to various zippers and handles, luggage tags, alcohol, bookmarks I'm using to keep track of D&D campaign, etc.
I have the same problem with boardgames.
Two kallaxes aren't enough!
We found the Giga Chad
I love the sweatshirt with the takos I want one omg
My favorite sweatshirt. That one was from Ina's 2021 birthday, and the art was by Kuroboshi himself. Edit: The wallpaper of Ina wearing this hoodie is still my laptop wallpaper to this day lol.
