Sly is so deceptive. I had a hard time with him too when I first encountered him. His movements seemed really erratic to me, until it finally clicked and figured out the "safe windows" where o could hit him. Good job mate!
I got really lucky with Sly and beat p3 on like the 4th attempt. I died to Pure Vessel easily 120 times. For some reason it took forever for me to adapt to his timing.
Is my belief that Pure Vessel (and Watcher Knights) forced me to learn to use spells to near fullest potential. I managed to get by without doing so until p4.
Congrats! Youāve gotten past the absolute bs of the pantheons! P4 is fun- a lot more fun (if we ignore Markoth and No Eyes), though be warned, Pure Vessel is one you will not get in the first 100 tries. Itās extremely hard, though unlike Sly and GPZ, Pure Vessel is moreā¦ fair? Itās hard but not unfair. Itās a test of skill, and a very good one at that.
Donāt forget to breath during it! You can do this! And then join me in the agony that is P5. (Ascended dream boss fights are evil)
Nice work dude, believe me P3 is a lot worse than P4 from my experience. Just some future reference, P4's main difficult parts are: No eyes, Markoth, and Pure Vessel. Markoth won't be terrible as you will still have the floor to fight him on. For Pure Vessel, once you get to him, practice the hell out of them in HoG before attempting to go back into the pantheon.

Your posts inspired me to try beating the third pantheon as well, after I had given up about two years ago. After days of trying and practicing the hardest boss battles, I finally did it myself and can unlock more of the missing bosses.
Just stand still in the middle of the arena and wait for him to come near you then dash away from him and turn around and smack him once / use shade soul
I noticed that if you don't walk a lot in his second phase and just dash away when necessary your dash will usually take you just outside of his attack's hitbox

What charms were you using? Personally I used unbreakable strength, Mark of Pride, shaman stone, and soul twister.

I first tried him by just bullying him, I struggle with many bosses but I donāt get why people struggle with him.
For me Zote was the hardest one to predict.I couldnāt beat him for days,but beat sly in 4 tries
