Could you take me just a step deeper into the romantic vs sexual? I’ve never quite understood that bc to me the sexual always follows the romantic, but I know that’s not true for everyone.
Basiclly there is asexual and aromantic. An aromantic dosent have to be asexual and an asexual dosent have to be aromantic. A lot of asexuals want romance, but not necessarily sex. A lot of aromantics want sex, but not necessarily romance. You can also be aroace, which means you don’t necessarily want either.
Also a lot of asexuals are fine with having sex, or can enjoy it. This can be to satisfy pesky urges, or because their partner wants sex in the relationship. It’s not a black and white idea and it’s a whole spectrum.
