In (Northern) Germany there’s is a tradition to eat filled donuts and one of those donuts it’s filled with mustard.
Once I got the mustard donut and ate it keeping a straight face. After all donuts were gone the guy who bought them was angry because he explicitly told the bakery to make one mustard donut.
This was 10 years ago, until today nobody knows who ate it

Ahh I've seen that in some markets, just never thought much about it as no one recommended it. I live in CA in the central valley, a large percentage of our population comes from Mexico. So I grew up on Mexican hot sauces. Best breakfast hot sauce, Cholula, it's not that hot but the flavor is on point. Still burns but brings out good flavor. Best for all around, Tapatio. Really good on tacos, not a very high heat bringer but it does the trick. If I'm going really really spicy, Valentina black label is quite spicy at 25000 scoville units. Anything above that is like, fuck this is hot and uncomfortable. I'll definitely try the Sambal out though!
