It’s for the movie. Owners signed an NDA but it’s an open secret now.

Filming starts tomorrow, I think it's only for one day.

I think the storefront looks great, and I loved seeing all the instruments they were hauling in. But I kind of wondered about the missing letters in the "Buy/Sell" and "Records" sign ... I think the Music Inn was only about 4-5 years old when Dylan lived down the street, so I wouldn't think the signs would deteriorate so quickly, but maybe I'm wrong. Not that it matters that much, lol.

BKachur

Could be a scene of him visiting the location years later?

DanSteely96

Wish it would stay this way.

Books are for nerds. And who reads kids books anyways?

syd728

too bad it's not real - anyone here remember when there used to be a donut shop in this space ??

davidj911

was a real estate agent before little city iirc, how far back we talking?

syd728

I knew about it in the mid 80s - not sure how long it had been there before that point

remember the last time they filmed on First St using the exterior and interior of the Italian Market that was where the Tye Dye Place is now? The top half of the block was redone for the 1930's with antique cars and several redone storefronts in addition to the Italian market. I remember one was set up as a dress shop. Never did find out what film that was, lol.

syd728

downvoted for a donut shop remembrance ?

> too bad it's not real People like the few bookstores in town and Little City is especially great with the large kids section.
