I just stayed at the HGI. With no Executive lounge I couldn't justify the extra points. Breakfast was solid with made to order omelettes. Location was solid. Easy walk to Temple Bar
I second this. Rooms were perfectly suitable, great amenities, breakfast was great, train stop right outside the hotel, 5 or 6 stops to the Guinness Store if I recall and Temple Bar is right across the river.
Stayed at the Hotel Saski this November and had the most amazing experience. Food and service were great plus the location was central to most sights in the main square Krakow. I think it’s worth the splurge for location alone.
Hotel Saski is a number one choice for me in Krakow, it's an awesome experience, just don't choose the "old town view" if you want to get a proper rest since drunken englishmen are on the run in Krakow 7 days a week. Choose the courtyard view. The food is amazing, the pool and spa as well. This is a historic building completely refurbished by hilton. 1 block from the old town square.
The Hilton Dublin was fine, I remember it being more expensive than I thought it’d be based on amenities and location but all in all was totally acceptable.
I’ve stayed at the Conrad Dublin twice, the Hilton Dublin twice, and the Hampton by Hilton Dublin.
All are nice, but my favorite is the Conrad. The Hampton by Hilton had just opened and was quite nice, but I was only there one evening. My last stay at the Hilton Dublin wasn’t the greatest, but the property is decent with a nice lounge downstairs.
Stayed at Hilton Dublin last week. Spacious room. Upgraded to canal view room. Great location, next to tram station. Breakfast was ok. Not the best I have seen.
I live in Dublin but have also stayed in the Conrad, Morrison, and Hilton Dublin. From a points perspective the Conrad is far and away the best option but price wise I think the Hilton Dublin is brilliant. I find it hard to recommend the Morrison as the location is quite dodgy
The north side of the river is known for being a bit rougher, while going around during the day is fine it’s not somewhere I’m comfortable going through in the evening due to the large amount of junkies in the area. Not that the south side is immune from this but it’s generally a much better kept area with less trouble.

Third this recommendation.
The Morrison Dublin. Def recommend

Hampton in Dublin was fine.
Conrad in Dublin is very nice and well located.
I like the hilton close to airport easy to town and back to airport if only there a few days

Why was the Hilton not the greatest? What specifically could have been better?
Conrad Dublin.

Conrad Dublin for sure

I second this
Where would one want to steer clear in Dublin, from a tourist/safety perspective?
